better places to be

Summary:

Elias teases Peter...

Notes:

Not really sure how to write these two besides them being half-assed about it. LOL.

Enjoy~

Work Text:

Elias sat on the couch, one leg over the other, and his arm placed upon the top part to get comfortable. He watched Peter grabbing his coat from the floor, and glancing around for his shoes.

"You can stay awhile?" Elias asked. He smiled, unable to rid the amusement fo Peter's disgruntled way of not looking at Elias, and trying his hardest to be angry at him. That wasn't going to work. Elias knew Peter wasn't angry, there was just this sliver of annoyance that had built up since Elias told him how easy it was to get under his skin.

Well, he had taken him apart last night, and that was proof enough as it is.

"What if I didn't want to stay all night?" Peter asked, flushed and glaring.

Elias had brushed away a bead of sweat on his temple, "You're not thinking about leaving, Peter, don't try to lie to me."

He had only played a simple game with Peter, and it was just that he couldn't keep up long enough to get through the entirety of the night. Peter had fallen asleep in his arms, cuddling against him until the morning rays had woken him up.

Now, he was simply angry that he was alone in bed when Elias had showered. It wasn't like he was being rude because he wanted to be, he just liked the crease in Peter's brows, the glare that barely reached the sentiment of rage he thought he could express.

If Elias wanted to, he could probably get Peter to stay a little longer, watch him squirm under his need to escape and wander around alone.

Peter flicked his gaze at Elias, and the glare smoothed out into indifference. "It's nice to see you again, Elias, but you and I know there are better places to be."

Elias didn't watch Peter leave, he had gotten up to start on his work.
