“Chi Chen—”
Suo Wei is startled as Chi Cheng falls forward, causing both of them to fall. Despite this, Chi Cheng still protected Suo Wei’s head from hitting the floor. The man groaned and laid his head on Suo Wei’s chest.
“Ew, Chi Cheng! You reek of alcohol!” Suo Wei pinches his nose, trying to push the taller man off of him.
“Wei Wei…” Chi Cheng slurred, his face squished as Suo Wei pushed him off.
“Why are you so drunk? I told you to drink a little because you were going to drive home. Who drove you here?” Suo Wei struggled to stand his lover up, the man was so heavy especially since he’s putting all his weight on him.
“Gang Zi…” Chi Cheng answers, his eyes staring up at Suo Wei.
“If I break my back, you need to give me 200,000 yuan”
Suo Wei huffed out as soon as he dropped Chi Cheng on the couch. He glared at the man laid in front of him, hands on his hips as he let out another huff.
“You’re such a pain in the ass, Chi Cheng” He says and went to the bedroom to go get some blankets and pillows for his lover—he was not going to carry such weight when his back already hurt.
He got back after a minute, his anger still there but he wouldn’t let his lover freeze to death. He places Chi Cheng’s head over the pillow and tucked him in with the blanket.
“You should be glad I’m still nice enough to give you a blanket and a pillow, next time it happens I’ll let you freeze to death!” Suo Wei scolds, stomping his foot.
“...Thank you”
“You better be thankful” Suo Wei smirked, crossing his arms as he tried to brag about being the best to Chi Cheng despite the man being out of it.
“Why am I even talking to you? I’m mad at you!” Suo Wei says as he remembers why he’s even here.
He was about to leave when Chi Cheng started to talk once again.
“Cheng Yu…” His head turned in an instant that he almost broke his neck. Now, he’s glaring at Chi Cheng once again.
“...Cheng Yu?” He says in disbelief. Chi Cheng is looking for another man while drunk—his best friend to be specific—the man he and Wang Shuo fought about? Okay, fuck you, Chi Cheng!
“Will you help me?” Chi Cheng slurred, sitting up and grabbed Suo Wei to sit down beside him.
“With what?” Suo Wei huffed, glaring at Chi Cheng.
“I just love Wei Wei so much… Do you think it’s too early?”
Suo Wei crosses his arms, letting Chi Cheng talk.
“Is it too early to propose…?” Suo Wei’s eyes widened at the confession. Chi Cheng is planning to propose? Oh, he's super drunk then.
Suo Wei knew what would happen the next day. Chi Cheng would forget all of this like how he did whenever he confesses something when he’s drunk to the point he can’t even stand on his own. Suo Wei could remember all of those.
Chi Cheng once confessed that he still liked Wang Shuo when they were not yet together, ending in Suo Wei giving him the silent treatment for almost a month. Chi Cheng never knew the reason until Xiao Shuai told him. The man did everything to get Suo Wei’s forgiveness after that.
It happened so many times that Suo Wei even took advantage of it once. He had made Chi Cheng buy him a whole box of fried chicken and the man forgot it the next day, not until karma hit Suo Wei where he had gotten sick from eating too much and had to confess the reason why he ended up like that. Chi Cheng laughed and teased him about it the whole day.
“Who are you proposing to?” Suo Wei tries to ask because he might be hallucinating or hearing things.
“Wu Suo Wei of course” Chi Cheng huffs before he plops back down, knocked out cold. Suo Wei sat there, frozen and shocked.
Chi Cheng is going to propose to him and it will happen sooner or later.
“Chi Cheng” Chi Cheng heard someone call him while feeling someone lightly slap his cheek. He opened his eyes, groaning at the headache he’s having. He’s met with Suo Wei, looking at him with a frown on his face.
“Good morning…” He whispered, huffing as Wu Suo Wei forced him to sit down.
“You eat your hangover soup, I also prepared you some medicine… I told you to not drink too much, it’s your karma for not listening to me” Suo Wei says, huffing. Chi Cheng looked at him and smiled, grabbing the smaller man’s arm and letting him sit on his lap.
“Thank you”
Suo Wei gave an almost imperceptible nod. He was still thinking about Chi Cheng’s confession last night. He was happy of course, just a bit nervous. And besides, how can he keep it to himself? Will he tell Chi Cheng that he knew? Or will he hide it?
He was thinking of scenarios in his head. If he told Chi Cheng he knew, then there would be no surprise. Okay, he’s keeping it to himself.
“You should be thankful. You always stress me out when you’re drunk! I almost broke my back carrying you, you know?!” Suo Wei huffed out, pushing the thoughts aside.
“Then I’ll make it better with my legendary massage?” Chi Cheng says as he rests his head on Suo Wei’s shoulder.
“Chi Cheng!” He scolds, slapping the man’s arm and huffing.

“Chi Cheng’s planning to propose to you?!”
“Xiao Shuai! Lower your voice down!” Suo Wei covered the doctor’s mouth, shutting him up. Shuai stared at Suo Wei, blinking for a few times.
“Will you lower your voice now?” Suo Wei asks and Shuai nods.
Suo Wei removed his hand off of Shuai’s mouth and looked around to see if anyone heard them.
“How did you know?” Shuai asks, frowning.
“You know I told you about Chi Cheng’s drunken confessions before, right?” Shuai nods and finally got what Suo Wei was referring to.
“He confessed it while he was drunk?”
“Yes! He also thought I was Cheng Yu, that’s why he accidentally revealed it to me”
“Gyu never mentioned to me about this” Xiao Shuai thinks and huffed.
“Xiao Shuai, I want you to not tell anyone… Not even Cheng Yu, you understand?” Suo Wei shows Shuai his pinky—a pinky promise between them.
Shuai nods and wraps his pinky with Suo Wei’s.
“You can count on me, I am your master”

Suo Wei is startled as a pair of hands covered his eyes. He picks up the scent and immediately knew who it was.
“Chi Cheng, what are you doing?” He asks, huffing.
“Taking you somewhere” Removing his hands away from Suo Wei’s eyes, he then replaces it with a blindfold.
“Hey, you’re not going to sell me, right?”
“Why would I sell you? No one would buy you except me” Chi Cheng says and Suo Wei let out a yelp as he felt himself be lift off of the ground.
“Chi Cheng, I’ll fall!” He screamed, the man only stayed quiet and he’s put inside the car.
Suo Wei blinks for a few times as he adjusts to the light. He looks around and sees the they were at the cemetery, in front of his parent’s tombstone.
“Chi Cheng?” He says, noticing that the said man was nowhere to be seen.
“I’m here” He heard and looks back, seeing Chi Cheng in a nice suit.
“Oh, you weren’t dressed like that awhile ago?”
“I made sure to look good for you and your parents” Chi Cheng fixes his tie, Suo Wei helps him with it.
“Why did you bring me here?” Suo Wei asks as he smiled, looking directly into his lover’s eyes.
“Because I’m going to ask for your hand in marriage in front of your parents” Chi Cheng says and showed the small red velvet box in his hand.
Suo Wei totally forgot about it so he was surprised.
“...Wait, this is not a dream, right?” Suo Wei asks, lightly slapping himself. Chi Cheng grabbed his hand, stopping him from doing so and kissed his lips.
“It’s not..”
“Wu Suo Wei… will you marry me?” Chi Cheng leans to Suo Wei’s ear and whispered these following words. Suo Wei smiled and hugged him, nodding enthusiastically.
“Words, baby” Chi Cheng chuckled, hugging him back.
“Yes, of course!”

“Why are you bothering me at this time? Shuai Shuai, who’s that?”
Xiao Shuai’s tired voice was heard behind the line and was followed by a groan, probably Guo Cheng Yu.
“Turn on your camera” Suo Wei demands and Shuai does as he’s told.
“What now?”
Being the curious person he is, Cheng Yu squeezes himself to be in the camera and looked at Chi Cheng and Suo Wei. The couple exchanged looks before Suo Wei showed his finger—ring on full show. Shuai was now fully awake, a gasp leaving his lips as he puts his glasses on.
“Is that—”
Suo Wei nods and chuckled as Shuai let out an excited noise. Cheng Yu chuckled, giving a thumbs up, probably for Chi Cheng.
“Congrats, Da Wei! Good job, my friend!”
“Thanks” Chi Cheng comments and kissed Suo Wei’s cheek.
“Okay, we won’t bother you guys further… Good night, Da Wei… Let me see it tomorrow at the clinic!”
The call ends and Suo Wei looked at Chi Cheng, who hugs him. He hugged the man back, hiding his face in the crook of his neck.
“Cheng?” The said man hums, rubbing Suo Wei’s back to lull him to sleep.
“I kinda knew you were going to propose” Suo Wei confesses and backs a little to look at Chi Cheng.
“I knew you knew. I can’t hide things from you”
“Really?” Chi Cheng nods at Suo Wei, who frowned.
“Yes, that is why it took me a good 2 months to do it so that you’ll be distracted with things for you to remember it” Chi Cheng chuckled as Suo Wei puffed his cheeks, sighing.
“Yeah, I kinda did forget it…” The smaller man chuckled, nodding as he hid his face once again.
“So you were still surprised”
“Yeah, yeah, I get it”
