Chapter Text
The forest is dark and gloomy. Leaves rustle all around and tortured screams can be heard echoing through the trees. He is coming. Walking toward her. With a bloody knife. And suddenly...
“BOO”, Kendall shouts from behind and tackles me to the fuzzy carpet. I let out a squeal of surprise and crash to the ground.
“What the hell! Are you crazy? I was trying to watch the movie. Look,” I wave my hand toward the screen, “I missed the part where she gets murdered!”
Well, I don’t give a frickle frackle because we need to get these sandwiches packed for the game.” Kendall pulls herself off the carpet and brushes off her jeans.
Humph. Fineee.” I reluctantly reach out and grab her offered hand. She pulls me up and tugs me toward the kitchen. Tomorrow is the Purcell High pep rally. And for some reason I let Kendall pull me into volunteering with her at her family’s sandwich shop stall. The only reason, and I mean the Only reason, was because she promised me that she would give me free paninis for a month. The best paninis in the whole fucking world. So like an idiot I said yes. And now I’m going to spend my Sunday night making sandwiches and my Monday morning passing them out to hungry teenagers. Why am I such a good friend?
