Part 1
In the beginning of time, there existed a powerful and benevolent creator, "PRIMUS," who, to protect this universe, sacrificed himself, transforming into the intelligent being that lives in Cybertron. From deep within Cybertron's core, Primus created the first generation of transformers called Primes. They are the most powerful transformers, leading future generations, and to support them, Primus created an entity full of power, the Matrix of Leadership.
Sentinel, one of the generations after Prime. He holds the position of chief advisor and is the assistant to 13 Primes.
Today is the day to recruit new members for the Guard, and his work is more demanding than usual, rushing around to complete everything. After several grueling cycles, he feels utterly exhausted; if he could, he would turn off his optics immediately.
"How disappointing," Sentinel sighed, looking at the list of candidates. This year's rookie quality isn't outstanding either, unlike the previous cycle, there were two exceptional individuals, Soundwave and Shockwave.
"It's all because of those 13 primes, they're too protective, making the next generation weak-willed," he muttered to himself, badmouthing the primes only to be startled when called.
"Sentinel," he turned in the direction of the voice only to see one of the people he had just cursed.
"Greetings, Prima Prime, you called me?" he said, giving a slight, fake smile. Looking up at Prima Prime, he suddenly realized Prima wasn't alone; there was another bot with him.
"Sentinel, good news! We've recruited a new rookie. He'll be working with you," Prima said with a smile, gently pushing the bot forward.
"This is B-127. He's one of Cybertron's first minibots, isn't that great?!"
Sentinel stared at the minibot in amazement. The bright yellow paint, like the city of Iacon, the crystal-clear blue optics, like the purest energon, the rounded armor, the small body...
"Cute"
That was the first word that came to his mind.
"Hello, I'm B-127, you can call me Bee if you like," B-127 said, his voice full of energy and clarity.
Prima smiled gently and patted Bee's helm, "He'll be our scout, guide him enthusiastically, Sentinel."
Damn it
"Sentinel, Sentinel, Sentinel"
"Sentinel, what are you doing?"
"Sentinel, what is this?"
"Sentinel"
Sentinel rubbed his module, trying to suppress his headache. Damn it, what kind of trouble was he involved in? He should have known how noisy and annoying this B-127 was, maybe that's why the primes assigned him to this guy!!!. Those bastar, he already have alot of thing to deal, how dare them
Today was B-127's first day, and that guy kept following him around like a tail, asking all sorts of questions. Damn it, this guy just talked non-stop! Doesn't he ever get tired?
I suspect if he had a speaking competition with Quintessa, the enemies would surrender immediately!!!
He turned to look at B-127, who was still following him, and spoke incessantly,
"B-127," he asked.
Hearing Sentinel speak to him, Bee's optics widened and lit up with joy.
"Yes!!! Sentinel!" he answered with a bright faceplate.
Sentinel tried to ignore B-127's bright faceplate and asked,
"Don't you have anything else to do? Normally, the recruits would be training in the shooting range or martial arts," he said, thinking about today's training ground. Today was the day Megatronus Prime would personally instruct, so the exercises would be very difficult.
B-127 shook his head.
"No, Lord Megatronus said that since it's my first day working here, he gave me the day off to tour the tower."
!!! Megatronus? Megatronus, the notoriously strict, cruel, and merciless one!!!! Did he really say that to B-127? Are you sure we were talking about the same prime?
Looking at B-127's bewildered, smiling face, he swallowed back the word "lie." This guy looks so stupid, he probably doesn't even know how to lie.
Sentinel sighed. Who exactly is this guy? Prima personally recruited him as a scout, and even Megatronous is quite tolerant of this bot.
Seeing Sentinel's dejected expression, B-127 thought he was disappointed that he wasn't training like everyone else but had instead skipped out to sightsee. He explained anxiously,
"It's true, Megatronous really did give me a break, I told him I didn't need it but he insisted. I wasn't hiding, really."
Seeing B-127 so flustered and anxious, trying to explain, made him chuckle a little. No, his module must be damage.
He patted B-127 on the helm "I know."
“hehe” B-127 smile at his patted
He still feel this bot is anoying.
B-127 thing Sentinel is so cool. The chief advisor and assistant to 13 Primes. He is so exciting that Prima prime introduce him :D
He keep following Sentiel like a tail, he don’t really mind if Sentinel ignore him, he is used to that, he talk too much, he know, but he can not stop, he have to many thing to ask and to say
"B-127"—the moment he heard Sentinel call his name, he was so surprised, his face lit up as he answered Sentinel as quickly as possible, afraid that he would retract his words.
"Yes!!! Sentinel!"
"Don't you have anything else to do? Normally, the recruits would be training in the shooting range or martial arts,"
B-127 tried to recall when it was talking to Megatronous Prime about training.
“ b-127 today is your first day here right, other have already visited the tower, why don’t you have a tour around the tower, I can let you have a day off”
“ Really :D, but isn’t it…” he still feel a little restless having a day off while other still have to work
“It’s fine” Megatronous patted his little helm “I had heard about you from Prima, I’m looking forward to see you ability, but now, you should have a look around the tower first”
"No, Lord Megatronus said that since it's my first day working here, he gave me the day off to tour the tower” I shook his head
Then he see alot of weird expression on Sentinel face, B-127 was afraid. Why is Sentinel faceplate like that, is he disapointed because I didn’t attend the trained!!!
B-127 grip Sentinel wings gently tried to expland
"It's true, Megatronous really did give me a break, I told him I didn't need it but he insisted. I wasn't hiding, really."
He feel a small gentle tap on his helm
“I know”
B-127’s optics widened
“hehe”
Deep down from his spark, b-127 think
Sentinel is so kind, just like Prima prime.

Part 2
"B-127, are you ready for this fight?" In the center of the training ground, with only two mechs left, Megatronous spoke to B-127 sternly, like a true trainer, no longer showing the same demeanor as when they first met.
"Yes, Prime Sir," B-127 replied firmly but excitedly, preparing for a training session.
All the other bots were outside the training area. Some were eager to see how the training match between Megatronous Prime and the minibot would unfold, while others scoffed, thinking it would be a boring fight. They thought B-127 was too small; Megatronous could easily lift B-127 without much effort. It was an uneven match that would end quickly.
"Prima, is that the minibot you brought back?"
From the stands, two guests who shouldn't be there at this moment were present. Two primes, 'prima and solus'. Normally, only one prime would be training, so having all three primes present at once would put immense pressure on the recruits, but thankfully, because everyone is currently focused on the battle, almost no one is aware of this formidable presence.
"He looks pretty cool, doesn't he?" Prima smiled in response to the question while still looking at the yellow bot on the field.
"I'm really quite curious, what made Prima, our usually calm and undemanding gentleman, so insistent on recruiting him?" Solus said, raising her eyebrows teasingly, crossing her arms and glancing at Prima.
"Who knows?" Prima smiled, listening to Solus's teasing, but his eyes remained fixed on the small figure.
"The match begins!"
Following the signal, B-127 didn't hesitate to charge towards Megatronous, delivering a precise kick. Unfortunately, unlike his large size, Megatronous was unusually agile, easily dodging B-127's kick. He reached out to grab B-127.
"The game is over, isn't it?" Solus looked at the battle and sighed.
Prima just smiled.
*SWISH*
"Huh?" She was surprised.
Just as Megatronous's hand was about to touch her, B-127 nimbly tilted her body slightly and summoned "knife hands" to cut off Megatronous's hand. But sensing danger, Megatronous quickly retracted his hand and dodged away from B-127.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The hall erupted in cheers just seconds after the battle began.
"Damn, what the hell is that?"
"Is that a sword?"
"Lord Megatronous is faster than he looks."
"How did that mini-me get such a weapon?"
The discussion grew louder, but not a word could distract the two on the battlefield; their minds were now focused solely on the one in front of them.
"Surprising, B-127, that weapon... you almost cut off my hand!" Megatronouse complimented B-127, preparing to attack again.
"You're huge, I didn't expect you to be so fast, Lord Megatronous," B-127 said with a smile. Megatronous chuckled, "Get ready, B-127, this time I..." "I won't hold back," his eyes sharpened.
"Just give it your all," B-127 also summoned his mask, ready for battle.
The two charged at each other again.
"I didn't expect that bot to be so impressive," Solus glanced to the side at the person who had been standing still without any surprise. "Is that why you chose him?"
"No, it's more than that."
Sentinel stretched, tiredly looking at the half-finished pile of paperwork. "Everything went unusually smoothly today; I didn't see that bot at all."
"Sentinel!"
'Speaking of the devil,' he turned his head, this time towards the door. A small figure stood there; it was obviously B-127, but this time there was something different.
"You look like scrap," he said, looking at B-127. The man's body was covered in scratches, dents, and peeling paint. He looked as if he'd just fallen from a high floor.
"Um, I had a sparring match with Lord Megatronous today. He's really strong, big but very fast," B-127 chattered excitedly about Megatronous.
'Megatronous, huh? No wonder, that guy really doesn't hold back, does he?' Sentinel thought. He turned to B-127, who was still rambling on about Megatronous, and asked, "So, what are you doing here?"
Hearing Sentinel's question, B-127 quickly remembered and took out a few energon from his storage. "Here, for you."
Sentinel looked at the energon given to him, puzzled.
"I just wanted to give you some energon. I saw your room was still lit, so I thought you must have forgotten to absorb energon."
"Is that all?"
"Anything else?" B-127 tilted his head, his face still the same, foolish, innocently pure to an unbelievable degree.
"...no," this time Sentinel didn't know how to answer. Twice already, twice B-127 had come and given him energon. Why was he being so nice to him? He really suspected B-127 had some ulterior motive, but the more he thought about it, the more confused he became.
"I have to go. I really want to stay, but since I escaped from the hospital and came here, I have to get back quickly." As he spoke, B-127 instantly transformed and ran off, leaving Sentinel standing there dumbfounded.
"What a strange bot."

Chapter Text
For several consecutive nights, B-127 would come to Sentinel's room, give him energon, and then leave. Occasionally, B-127 would stay and chat with Sentinel. This repeated itself many times, and gradually Sentinel became accustomed to B-127's presence each night.
Being able to replenish his energy daily and no longer skipping meals also made Sentinel feel better, no longer exhibiting the irritable attitude of low energy.
"You seem much more cheerful lately, Sentinel. Has something good happened?" Alpha Trion asked kindly, looking at the work report.
"Uh, um, yes," Sentinel stammered, unsure how to answer. Did he really look better? It's true that he hasn't skipped meals lately. B-127 always comes by to give him energon, and that guy often stays to chat, though the topic always revolves around his day. It's a bit boring, but it's been a long time since he's really sat down and talked to someone unrelated to work (though mostly he was forced to listen).
"Sentin—"
"Sentinel," Alpha Trion called out.
Startled, Sentinel snapped out of his reverie and replied to Alpha Trion, "Excuse me, sir, I was a little distracted."
"It's nothing," Alpha Trion replied calmly. "I need you to make some corrections." Alpha Trion pointed to a section of the data sheet. Sentinel looked at it, his Optics furrowing slightly but quickly returning to normal. "But sir, this part—" He didn't finish his sentence.
"I know it'll be long, but it really needs reviewing," Alpha Trion interrupted Sentinel, speaking in a gentle voice.
Sentinel fell silent. He nodded gently, "Yes, I understand," clenching his fists behind his back. "Again, they didn't listen at all."
Walking wearily with a stack of documents in his hand, he thought irritably, "I'll have to stay up late again tonight."
Entering his office, he saw a familiar figure, and for some reason, Sentinel's mood improved slightly.
"B-127, you're here earlier than usual today," Sentinel said in a calm tone, as if all the earlier frustration had vanished.
"Sentinel!!!" B-127 replied happily, turning around and running towards the door. "I have something really cool to give you!" After saying that, B-127 took something from a drawer and handed it to Sentinel.
"Is this energon?" Sentinel raised his eyebrows at what B-127 handed him. It looked like energon, but its shape was very different, like bright stars.
B-127 excitedly explained, "This is called energon candy. Try it, it's great." Sentinel raised his eyebrows slightly, skeptical of B-127's words. Energon candy? He had heard of it before, but he hadn't been very interested. He'd heard it was quite popular because of its strange but stimulating flavor, and it always sold out quickly. But that didn't matter to him. Beside he is too busy, even to normal energon he rarely have to absorb it, so he is not gonna waste his time this candy energon thing? He was about to ask if it could harm his meridians, but seeing B-127's expectant gaze, he found it difficult to speak. "Never mind, I'll close my optics and try it. At least if something happens, I'll be resting in the infirmary, not at my desk," he told himself.
As he put the energon candy in his mouth, a strange sensation surged through his glossa. He couldn't describe the taste; it was a peculiar feeling unlike any other energon.
Seeing Sentinel's surprised expression, B-127 excitedly said, "It feels great, doesn't it? The taste is strange, isn't it? This is called sweetness."
Sweetness? So this is what sweetness is? It feels very pleasant, and it's not bad at all. Now he thought, "No wonder it's so famous and almost nobody can buy it." Suddenly, he turned to look at B-127.
"I heard these candies are very hard to buy, they seem to sell out very quickly. How did you manage to buy so many?" Hearing this, B-127 smiled. "This is from Prima, he gave me so much." Sentinel frowned. That Prima could probably easily buy things with his power, but thinking about Prima standing in line to buy this, Sentinel felt a little weird
He shook his head, trying to ignore the image, "So you came here early just to give me this?"
B-127 suddenly realized something and excitedly said, "Oh right, you know the Royal Guard just returned, right?" Sentinel nodded, thinking about his recent conversation with Starscream.
"They're about to leave again," Sentinel knew, of course. After all, they were the main Soundwave team, constantly scouting for enemy activity, so it was understandable that they would leave again after just returning.
"This time I'll be going with them." Sentinel nodded… then froze, thinking his audio receptors were a little broken. "What did you just say?"
"Great right!!!" B-127 eagerly said, "Lord Megatronous said that since I'm a scout, I'll have to go on reconnaissance missions someday. This time I'll go with the guard to gain experience. This mission is also very easy, so he let me go."
"...Is that so?...Good for you...When will you return?"
B-127 shook his head. "I don't know, probably five orns." B-127 thought for a moment before answering.
Sentinel heard this and chuckled inwardly. Five orns? That means he'll have five orns undisturbed by B-127. That's great, but for some reason, he felt a little bit of a loss.
He must be overthinking it. At most, he'll just be missing someone to deliver the energon.
Notes:
This chapter is just that simple. But the next chapter focuses mainly on Sentinel and is a turning point in the relationship between Bee and Sentinel. I really enjoyed the next chapter, and hope that I can publish it tomorrow ( ๑ ˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
Chapter Text
Today was just another day for Sentinel.
"Sentinel, I need you to review this part for me."
"Yes."
"Sentinel, I need you to redo this part."
"Yes, sir."
"Sentinel, please do this for me too."
"...yes, sir."
He slammed the data sheets down on the table, sat down in his chair wearily, and leaned back. "Prime, prime, prime, always prime," he muttered to himself, closing his eyes to calm himself.
Silence.
Everything in the room was quiet, except for the clicking sound of the data sheets. Outside, the night was dark; everyone was recharging their batteries, leaving only a faint light emanating from Sentinel's room.
Warning
Warning
Low energy
Recognizing the system's warning, Sentinel was slightly startled and turned to the side.
"B-127, I…"
Empty space.
"Ah, he's gone on a mission." Sentinel was a little taken aback.
"It's too quiet."
"Sentinel, I need you to review this part for me."
"Yes."
"Sentinel, I need you to redo this part."
"Yes, sir."
"Sentinel, this plan is impossible. You should change it."
"…"
Sitting in his office, as a habit, he turned to the side.
"B-127, you know, today—" as if wanting to confide in someone, but
Empty space.
"…"
"How could I forget again? He continued working with his head down.
Seven orns had passed since B-127 departed, and the Sentinel's operational trajectory remained unchanged, though something had shifted slightly. His mood had worsened; he didn't understand why. Perhaps the lack of constant recharging was tiring him, but he clearly wasn't normally like this.
Walking down the hallway back to his office, he carried a gloomy mood.
The assistant always has so much work, doesn't he?
Working directly with the primes, how envious!
He's clearly very proud to work for the primes
The primes are so good!
The primes!
Primes
Primes
Pri-
"My name is Sentinel," he muttered.
"But sir, if I adjust part na-" Sentinel tried to run after him, trying to persuade Megatronus.
"I told you, you still don't understand? I don't accept this plan. It will cause losses to our side." Megatronous walked out of the room without looking back.
"But if we-"
"I WILL NOT REPEAT, SENTINEL!" He growled sternly at Sentinel, making him jump and fall silent.
"Yes… I understand, sir," Megatronous said with a single glance. Leave. Sentinel remained motionless, his grip on the data sheet so tight it was covered in cracks.
'why don’t you Listen to me.'
He continued walking down the hallway back to his office, still hearing the whispering and murmuring of the bots.
The assistant always looks so grumpy, doesn't he?
I heard he made a mistake again.
Tsk tsk, the primes are so good, why does the assistant keep bothering them?
'My name is Sentinel.'
He thinks he's so great, just because he was born a generation before us?
'I tried my best.'
I heard he just got yelled at, serves him right.
'Look at me.'
The primes must be exhausted dealing with him.
'Why don't you listen to me?'
He hurried back to his office, almost running, slamming the door shut, hoping to silence the whispering outside.
He felt uneasy inside his spark. It felt so irritating, like someone was suffocating me.
It was strange. He should have known, he should have gotten used to those voices echoing behind him, those incessant, malicious words. Normally, he would forget, he wouldn't hear them, he would pretend nothing happened. So why?
Why was it so persistent today?
He clutched his head and knelt beside the table.
Primes
Primes
Primes
It's always Primes, always Primes. Why don't they look at me? Why do they ignore me? Why don't they listen to me? I've tried, I've clearly tried so hard. Why do they ignore me? What kind of Primes' advisor is this? Call me by my name! I'm not an advisor, my name—
"Sentinel," a gentle voice rang out, almost jolting Sentinel out of his thoughts. He lifted his faceplate and saw that familiar, small, shimmering figure.
"B-127"
B-127 should have left long ago. He wanted to greet Sentinel, but he lingered too long talking to the royal guards. When he reached Sentinel, he noticed the lights in the room were off. He assumed Sentinel had gone to Rechard and didn't intend to disturb him, but suddenly he heard a loud noise coming from the room. Worried, he opened the door without knocking.
The room was in terrible shape; data sheets were scattered everywhere, desks and chairs were in disarray, but what caught his attention most was the figure kneeling in the middle of the room.
"Sentinel!"
B-127, he's back? Damn it, to see himself in such a pathetic state. He was just like those other bots, blindly worshipping the primes.
"Sentinel, what's wrong?" B-127 anxiously rushed towards Sentinel, only to hear a curse from him.
"Get out!" Sentinel said.
B-127 paused slightly, somewhat surprised by Sentinel's shout.
"Senti-"
"I TOLD YOU TO GET OUT! WHY DIDN'T YOU EVEN LISTEN?!" He yelled, throwing the cracked data board, which hit B-127, scratching his face slightly.
B-127 remained motionless.
Looking at B-127's still figure, with a small amount of energon oozing from the scratch, he laughed as if mocking himself.
"What?" " Want to see my pathetic state?"
B-127 looked confused. "What are you talking about?"
"Don't hide it anymore. You think I'm ridiculous, don't you? You think I'm a nuisance, a useless person, even needing someone else to remind you to absorb energy."
"..."
Noticing B-127's silence, he almost resigned himself to the situation.
"Indeed, you're just like other bot."
But things didn't go as he expected. He thought he would hear footsteps leaving or mockery, but it wasn't.
An arm wrapped around him from the front. It was gentle and warm. Sentinel tried to break free, but then he heard B-127's voice. It was the same voice, but this time it was strangely gentle.
"Sentinel did very well."
Just one sentence, just one sentence he had long wanted to hear, coming from someone he had only recently met.
"Why—" Why did you treat me like this? "Why are you so kind to me, words can't express it all, the sound seems to be stuck in my throat.
"Sentinel has tried so hard," B-127 said softly.
This time, the pent-up frustration of so long threatened to burst out. A stream of cleaning fluid dripped from Sentinel's optics. He didn't know what it was, but he didn't care anymore. He clung tightly to B-127 as if he were his lifeline.
"I really did try my best" his voice was hoarse, as if breaking.
"I know," B-127 hugged Sentinel, patting his shoulder gently.
"I've stayed up all night so many times, I've completed the assigned tasks, I've clearly done so much, why do you still say I'm useless? Why, why don't you listen to me? Why…"
"Why don't they look at me?"
He poured out all the pent-up frustration he'd been holding inside. He wanted to express everything he'd kept inside for so long. Today
"Sentinel," B-127 said.
"I see you."
Warning
Warning
Low power
Forced shutdown in progress
He ignored the warning, he don’t care about anything anymore, clinging tightly to B-127. The Sentinel optics faded, and he collapsed in B-127's warm embrace.
"I'm sorry"

https://x.com/cattle42551062/status/2016521750176317766?s=46This chapter was really difficult for me to write; I'm not really good at describing emotions in detail. Basically, Sentinel's outburst was because he had become somewhat accustomed to Bee's presence, but at this point, he wasn't really paying much attention to him. As I wrote before, Bee often gave Sentinel energy, so he almost always ate on time, and being around Bee also allowed him to talk more. Bee is very innocent and also cherishes Sentinel, so being near Bee made Sentinel feel more appreciated. But because Bee had to leave for a while, Sentinel's routine returned to normal, only this time Sentinel was much more sensitive. Bee was almost always by his side every night, talking to him. Talking to Bee made him forget many things, so Bee's absence affected Sentinel more strongly than expected. At the same time, he reverted to his old habit of skipping meals. Sentinel was hungry, overwhelmed with work, scolded, and constantly being the subject of gossip—all combined—and he couldn't react in time, and then Boom! ( I don’t know what the hell am I writing right now)
I feel a little guilty writing about the Primes in this chapter. I know they are very good. It's not that they don't care, it's just that their work is so overwhelming that they forget many things, which could lead to an unfortunate misunderstanding
Chapter Text
Okay, we have the Sentinels now. Let's see what B-127 does on his mission with the Highguard ^^
First mission with the Highguard, how exciting!!! Wow, they're so cool! Just like I imagined, no, they're even cooler than I imagined!
B-127 was standing behind Megatronous. Looking at him and the Highguard…
"This is—" Before Megatronous could finish his sentence, B-127 excitedly interrupted him.
"Hello, I'm B-127. You can call me Bee if you like, hehe. Oh!!! You must be Starscream, Shockwave, and Soundwave. I'm a huge fan of yours, really, this is— um…um…um—" B-127 continued excitedly. Megatronous lifted B-127 and covered his mouth, but because his arms were so large, it looked as if Megatronous was completely obscuring B-127's face.
Highguard:…
Megatronous almost completely ignored the awkwardness in the air and continued, "As he said, his name is B-127, and he will be joining you on this mission."
"What are you talking about? Bringing this amateur along is just a hindrance!" Starscream said in disbelief and irritation.
"Starscream, enough. This mission is to help B-127 gain experience, and besides, it's just a reconnaissance mission, it won't be too dangerous," Megatronous said, frowning slightly, his hands covering B-127's mouth moving up a little to cover his ears.
Although slightly annoyed, he was only a subordinate, and Megatronous was right, the task wasn't too difficult, just patrolling. So Starscream sighed and nodded, "Yes, sir."
Then he looked at B-127, still covered by Megatronous's hand, still talking and even thrashing around wildly. He frowned and asked Megatronous,
"One question, does that guy bite?"
Megatronous:…..
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, amazing!" He sped up to catch up with the guards. Although they were all flying vehicles, B-127's speed was not to be underestimated. He stayed close behind.
"Amazing, this place is beautiful!"
"Oh, what is this?"
"Oh, what is this?"
"Wait for me!!!"
B-127 continued to chatter incessantly to the other members of the group, annoying them with the noise and almost completely ignoring him. They stopped to observe.
"Oh, we'll stop here."
"How much further until we reach the base?"
"I wonder what it looks like."
"Probably huge."
"Ugh, that guy just keeps talking non-stop, my receiver is about to fail!" Shockwave irritably gripped his antenna.
"Let's gag him, we'll unmistak it when we get back," Shockwave suggested irritably.
"If he tells Megatron, we're doomed," Starscream sighed.
"If I hear that guy's voice again, I'll punch my own receiver," Shockwave said, then turned to the one who had been silent until now. "What do you think, Soundwave?"
"Refused," a robotic voice replied.
"Huh?" Both Starscream and Soundwave were stunned by the answer.
"Refused," Soundwave replied, then walked past them both.
"Did something affect his circuitry?" Starscream asked Shockwave, looking at Soundwave's back.
"I don't know," Shockwave replied.
Soundwave walked up the hill where B-127 was sitting alone, swinging his legs and humming something. He looked strangely lonely; it seemed the other members couldn't stand him anymore and had called him out here to sit alone.
"B-127," a robotic voice called out, causing B-127 to turn around. His eyes immediately lit up when he recognized the speaker.
"Soundwave, what are you doing here? Did those people send you here to observe too? Great! We can be companions. Sitting here alone is quite boring," B-127 said hastily after seeing Soundwave, as if the lonely, gloomy image from before was just an illusion.
Hearing B-127's words, Soundwave knew for sure that the others had tricked this yellow fella, making him think this was an observation mission but in fact they just want to get rid of him. He wanted to say something, that this is just a trick, but seeing B-127's wide, excited eyes, he could only utter one word
"Agreed."
Soundwave approached and sat down next to B-127, who had just moved to make room for him.
Soundwave didn't understand why, but the first time he met B-127 in the entire tower, he didn't dislike him at all; on the contrary, he quite liked him. "This robot, B-127, talks a lot... but everything he says is true, not a single lie. Soundwave suspected this and even checked, but no other robot is like this one, always speaking his mind so frankly.
He liked B-127's talkativeness; to him, it was like white noise, very pleasant. Compared to the shouting and tension in the army, B-127's voice made him feel comfortable.
"Soundwave, your voice is great, but you're a little quiet." "You're just like my friends back then, but that's okay, silence is fine, it makes you cool. Hey, do you often go on observation missions like this? That's strange, haha."
The two robots sat next to each other, one speaking, the other listening, the scene so harmonious that no one would think they had only just met.

Basically, B-127's first few days on duty with Highguard went fairly smoothly. Was he disliked? Yes. Was he ignored when he tried to strike up a conversation? Yes. Was he sent on missions, but really just to get rid of him? Yes, but did he get discouraged or give up? No!!!
Gradually, this also affected Highguard. Of course, there would still be people who didn't like him, but they would give him a certain level of respect, thanks to what he had shown in the match.
This match was simply a competition organized by the team members as a training session to kill time, and B-127 participated (of course). Everyone was quite surprised that this small robot possessed such a ferocious weapon; he nearly severed the wing of a team member. Starscream found it quite amusing, so he joined the fight against B-127, one a captain of the Highguard and the other a trainee.
B-127 lost (of course).
But Starscream still praised B-127, saying that he hadn't fought badly but had made too many mistakes after the match. Starscream pointed out a series of incorrect moves by B-127. B-127, lying unconscious, listened to the complaints about his poor movements. He didn't feel sad or angry, but almost moved and jumped up.
"Starscream, you're amazing! We only fought for a little while, and you found all my mistakes and even showed me what to do. Truly worthy of being the captain of the Royal Guard, Lord Starscream!" B-127 said excitedly, praising Starscream, surprising him with his overly admiring gaze.
"I…I, of course, am amazing." "Someone like…you should learn from me." He turned away, his face slightly flushed, trying to hide a slight smirk.
"Yes, yes, amazing, amazing, powerful, Lord Starscream!" B-127 continued his almost selfless praise, making Starscream want to puff out his chest.
"I want to punch him in the face!" Shockwave, standing nearby, looked at Starscream's arrogant, almost insane smile and felt annoyed.
"That's right," Soundwave said.
After that day, B-127 attracted Starscream's attention and was often dragged along to training sessions. Of course, he enjoyed this, despite getting scolded quite a bit. Besides training (and getting punched), he would sit and talk with Soundwave about all sorts of things, patrol with some of the team members, and…annoy Shockwave.
"Shockwave, what are you doing?"
"Shockwave, what is this?"
"Oh, looks interesting!"
"SOMEONE PLEASE DRAG THIS GUY OUT OF HERE!" Shockwave angrily slammed the table.
And so, a few Orn scouts and Highguards continued their work peacefully… except for a few people.
"Bee!! Welcome back!" Prima cheerfully greeted B-127 in the hall.
"Lord Prima!!!" B-127, overjoyed, transformed back and jumped up to hug Prima. Prima smiled and caught B-127, saying, "It's been a long time, I missed you so much."
Witnessing this incredibly touching reunion, the Highguard and the other Primes decided to ignore it.
"Ahem, anyway," Zeta cleared her throat and decided to speak first, "how did the mission go?"
"We didn't see any trace of Quintessa; they seem to have completely vanished and have no intention of approaching this area anytime soon," Starscream said.
Hearing this, Zeta frowned slightly. "That's strange. Normally, those guys wouldn't be like this."
"I suspect they're plotting something," Megatronous interjected. "Prima, what do you think—"
"Then how did I dodge that attack?" B-127 excitedly recounted his experience fighting Starscream.
"That sounds interesting. Is that why you have so many scratches?" Prima said, his voice slightly saddened at the fading paint on B-127, almost oblivious to the other calls.
"Prima," Solus nudged Prima, calling out to him.
"Huh?" Prima looked up, slightly confused, and saw everyone staring at him and B-127. "Did I miss something?"
Alpha Trion could only sigh, " youth."
The Primes: "We're literally the same generation."
"Anyway, I think we should talk about this later. Everyone must be tired after the continuous journey. Now, let's rest," Megatronous said.
"Yes, thank you, sir," Starscream and the royal entourage departed.
Soundwave nodded as he passed B-127, and B-127 instinctively smiled and waved.
B-127 was about to leave when Prima pulled him back. "Where are you going? That's not the way you're going." B-127 just smiled and looked up at the rather dark sky. "I'm going somewhere for a while."
This continued until B-127 arrived at the Sentinel's room.

Lately, for some reason, I've been in a pretty bad mood and don't want to write anything at all. Is this some kind of AO3 curse? Oh my god, I don't like this at all😱. Don't worry, I won't stop writing as long as my love for Bee is still burning😤😤. thanks for you all kudos and lovely comment, they are part of the motivation for me to keep writing (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
Chapter Text
Things continued as usual after that day, neither B-127 nor Sentinel mentioned it again, but perhaps something had changed (for Sentinel).
"Sentinel!" B-127 smiled as he entered Sentinel's room with a few small energy blocks.
"Bee!! You're here!" Sentinel smiled gently, placing the documents on the desk before greeting Bee.
"Bee, why are you covered in scratches?! Oh, Primus!" Sentinel examined Bee closely, noticing numerous scratches and dirt, as if he had just been in a battle.
"Huh? Oh, I just finished training with the Primes. It's nothing, sorry, I'm just so dirty!" Bee just giggled apologetically.
Hearing Bee's words, Sentinel felt a little sorry for him, saying, "It's not dirty," and even secretly cursing the Primes in his heart, "Those cruel bastards, how could they be so heartless to beat him up?" "He's in such a pathetic state, don't they feel sorry for him?" "Why didn't you go to the infirmary to check your wounds? You didn't need to rush like that right after training."
"Well, I couldn't let my friend go hungry," Bee replied with a bright smile, then handed him a plate full of energy.
Sentinel just smiled slightly, took the plate, and they both sat down in the guest chair that Sentinel had personally added. Normally, Sentinel's office only had a chair and a table, where Bee usually stood to talk. After noticing this, he added a large chair and a table so Bee could sit comfortably.
Recently, after that day, he had gradually shown a gentler side to Bee. Recalling that day, he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. Sitting tightly in Bee's arms and saying so many things... Fortunately, Bee didn't seem to notice or bring it up again, otherwise Sentinel would have been so embarrassed he'd want to jump out and fight Quintessa alone.
"Sentinel!!" Startled by Bee's cry, Sentinel snapped back to reality. "What's wrong, Sentinel? Is your energy not good?"
"No, sorry, I'm worried about a lot of things," Sentinel replied.
"Oh, really? Anyway, eat this so you don't run out of energy." Sentinel just smiled and took the energy from Bee's hand. While eating, he looked at Bee, a sadness rising in his heart as he saw Bee's scratched armor.
"Bee, maybe you should repaint it?" Sentinel said. "Repaint?" Bee looked back at Sentinel as if surprised by the suggestion.
"Um, I know a lot of good places to get your car painted and serviced. If you want, I can book an appointment for you. Don't worry about the cost, I'll—"
"No need."
Bee's blunt refusal left Sentinel slightly stunned. He forced a smile. "Oh, really? Sorry, I'm such a meddler."
"No, Sentinel, I already have a free repaint and service voucher." Bee quickly explained. "Mr. Prima gave it to me."
"...Oh, really?" Hearing Bee not refuse but say he already had the voucher, Sentinel felt a little happier. He couldn't help but smile slightly, but when he heard the name Prime, 'Why him?' Sentinel smiled, but this time the smile was a little crooked, though Bee didn't seem to notice.
"Yes. Mr. Prima is so kind. He's always so caring and gives me so many things, but I haven't used any of them because I wasn't planning on going," Bee said, then suddenly an idea struck him. "Sentinel, would you like to come with me tomorrow?"
"M...me?" Sentinel was surprised by the offer.
"Well, I have a lot to do anyway, going alone would be boring. I was going to ask the Highguard, but they said they have a lot of work. Would you like to come with me?" Bee looked at Sentinel with sparkling eyes.
"I...um..." Hearing Sentinel's hesitant voice, Bee almost slumped, looking like a lost Cybertronian puppy. "I forgot you're probably busy too." "Okay, let's forget about what happened earlier." Bee smiled.
"I'm can take a break!!" Sentinel said quickly.
"Huh?" Bee was slightly startled by Sentinel's sudden reaction.
"I mean, I don't have much to do tomorrow." "I'll finish quickly and go with you." Sentinel realized he'd answered too hastily, so he cleared his throat and corrected himself.
"Really?" "I'm so happy!" Bee was thrilled that Sentinel agreed. "I have a sparring match with Megatronous tomorrow, so maybe we'll go after I'm done."
"Yeah, I'll finish quickly too." Seeing Bee so excited, he felt happier too. He was happy that Bee invited him along, but also a little annoyed with Prima. It seemed Prima was always mentioned in Bee's conversations. Was this guy usually so generous with gifts? Almost everything Bee received had Prima's name on it. Damn, maybe next time I should try queuing up to buy energy candies for Bee, he seems to really like them.
"Alright, B-127, let me see how your skills have changed." Starscream said you fought him very fiercely." Megatronous stands in the arena alongside B-127, ready for battle.
Surrounding them were other bots watching the fight.
"You'll see soon enough," B-127 smiled and put on his battle mask.
Prima remained in the stands as before. To avoid attracting attention, he watched B-127's fight from the stands. "Come on, little Bee," he whispered.
Begin!
The voice rang out, and the two lunged at each other. Bee unleashed a series of punches and slashes while Megatronous simply dodged. He grabbed B-127's leg and threw him away. Bee flipped to avoid it, and this time Megatronous also launched an attack; he often adjusted the intensity when fighting apprentice robots, and this time was no different. The two robots fought fiercely, with the other robots cheering them on.
"Oh, go for it, Mini!"
"Don't lose!"
B-127 had trained extensively with Starscream, so he had certainly improved, and this time he truly wanted to use the techniques Starscream had taught him. B-127 swiftly dodged Megatronous and leaped high into Megatronous's blind spot.
(B-127, listen, you fight well, but you're missing something. Fighting you feels like fighting a normal robot. You're strong, but I'm not afraid. Next time, try showing some killing intent. Then your enemies will fear you more, and you can take them down.)
B-127 actually listened to Starscream, and this time he truly showed his killing intent towards Megatronous. He swiftly dodged Megatronous and prepared to attack when Megatronous was distracted. B-127's killing intent was strange; it wasn't hostile, but simply like a little psychopath experimenting with something new. This occasionally made Starscream shudder and momentarily lose focus. B-127 really wanted Megatronous to praise him for his progress and for being able to injure him, but unfortunately, he should have known how terrible it would be to display his killing intent, especially to Megatronous.
Reflexes against killing intent, Megatronous's fighting boost was something he couldn't control and it occasionally surfaced as a habit.
Just as B-127 was about to attack Megatronous,
"Damn it, Megatronous, stop!!!" Prima yelled from the stands.
Sentinel was more efficient than usual, perhaps because of his promise to accompany Bee. Before he realized it, he had processed most of the data sheets. Looking at the pile of data for a while, he decided to set them aside.
"That's enough," Sentinel stretched, intending to wait for Bee. After a while, he thought, why not go watch Bee train? Sentinel had never seen Bee train before because he wasn't interested, but now that he thought about it, if Bee were there, it might not be so bad.
"Bee will be very surprised," he said cheerfully, getting up and leaving the room. He had only gone a short distance when a huge figure rushed towards him at incredible speed, almost causing Sentinel to dodge and fall. But strangely, he wasn't angry at all, he was almost stunned, because he saw
the face of the machine that had just sped past him. It was none other than Prima Primes running in panic, and in those huge arms, the small creature was almost completely enveloped and protected by Prima. He could see tiny drops of energy dripping out.
Drip
Drip
"Bee" he called.

Time seemed to stand still for Sentinel, not moving, not shifting. His mind was desperately trying to deny the obvious truth: "That's not Bee, is it? He's definitely still at the training ground. That color must be wrong. My optics must be wrong, right? Right? Haha."
Haha
Scrap
Scrap
This time he ran after Prima, anxiety clearly visible on his face. He had to follow, he had to see if it was really Bee. He thought, secretly hoping it was just a fake and what he saw was just an optics error. He ran in the direction Prima was heading—towards the infirmary.
"DAMN IT, YOU PRIMES! CAN'T YOU CONTROL YOUR STRENGTH?!"
Hearing the shout at the infirmary door, Sentinel's footsteps quickened as he rushed into the room, and... The sight before him was truly suffocating.
Prima was standing with the medical officer, next to them was a charging bed with Bee on it. There was a rather large dent in Bee's chest armor, from which energon had leaked, now being held back by the medical officer.
"Sentinel, what are you doing here?" Prima was startled to see Sentinel's lightning-fast figure dart past him.
Ignoring Prima's question, he frantically rushed to where Bee was lying. "Scrap, what the hell? How did Bee get injured like this?" he anxiously looked at Bee and then turned to ask.
Prima was slightly surprised by Sentinel's tone. Normally, he wouldn't speak so rudely, but he thought it was probably because Sentinel was so worried about Bee that he snapped like that, so he let it slide.
"It was… an accident," Prima could only stammer.
"An accident? What exactly happened?" Sentinel asked impatiently. He asked,
"It was me."
This time, a deep voice echoed from outside the infirmary. Megatronous entered, his expression still serious and unreadable due to the battle mask he always wore.
"It was I who inflicted that injury on B-127. My enhanced combat reflexes caused me to lose control for a moment, resulting in that injury." The voice remained calm, as if merely recounting what had happened.
"Damn it, what kind of enhanced combat reflexes are you talking about? It was just a training session, and you beat him like this? Are you out of your mind?" Sentinel, angered by Prime's calm words, retorted. "Sentinel, don't overstep your boundaries," Megatronous said, glaring at Sentinel. Sentinel realized he was cursing Megatronous; he had almost crossed the line.
"Calm down, all of you," the medical officer's voice was neither too soft nor too loud, but it was enough to... Just enough to silence everyone in the room and get them to listen.
"He's only slightly injured. It looks terrible, but because he used the energon in time, he'll recover. He just needs to rest for a day or two," the medical officer's information eased everyone's worries a little. "Everyone leave, give the patient some fresh air. This medical room is tiny, stop crowding in!" This time, the officer's voice was a little harsh, wanting to get everyone out. Although Prima and Sentinel hesitated, they wanted Bee to rest peacefully, so they left. Only Megatronous remained.
"I want to stay a little longer."
"What nonsense are you talking about? The one who caused this—" Sentinel was almost annoyed with Megatronous, but before he could finish his sentence,
"He can stay."
A small, weak voice rang out. Everyone in the room turned towards the source of the voice. Sentinel repeated. Turning towards Bee
"Bee!! You're awake, how are you? Are you hurt anywhere?" Sentinel asked worriedly, looking around him.
"I'm fine," Bee just giggled, then continued, "I'm sorry, I can't go painting with you." Bee apologized weakly.
"Silly boy, it's not your fault," Sentinel felt sorry for Bee. He didn't expect him to take those words so seriously. Why didn't he worry about himself? He could only smile sadly and comfort Bee.
"Sentinel, I want to talk to Lord Megatronous privately."
"But—" Before he could finish his sentence, Bee stopped him with his clear eyes.
"Please." Hearing that, Sentiel couldn't say anything, he could only silently nod and reluctantly walk out. "I understand."
Prima then walked to Bee's bedside. "Thank you for bringing me to the infirmary." Bee smiled and looked up. Looking at him, Prima just smiled slightly, patting his head, almost easing the earlier anxiety and tension a little. "Rest now," Prima said, then walked out with the medical staff.
Only two figures remained in the room, the atmosphere seemingly quite awkward.
"B-127, I—" Megatronous was the first to speak.
"I'm sorry." Megatronous was stunned by B-127's sudden apology.
"It was my carelessness that caused me to injure myself."
"What the hell are you talking about? It was my—"
"You must be very disappointed. I should have done better."
"No, it's my fault for not knowing how to restrain my power and injuring you."
"this injuring is my fault, it because I am to weak to handle your attack"
""You don't understand," Megatronous growled, a voice loud enough not to frighten the patient. Megatronous's massive and imposing figure was almost too large; he had to kneel before the sickbed to look directly into B-127's eyes, yet even so, he was still a head taller than B-127.
Megatronous's hand touched the large wound he had inflicted on B-127. "I'm sorry."
"I told you it wasn't your fault—" "No," Megatronous interrupted.
This time, Megatronous took B-127's hand, bending down gently to touch his forehead to the small hand. "I am Megatronous."
The Biggest One
The Strongest One
The Toughest One
And
The Most Dangerous One
Megatronous spoke in a deep, even voice; these words should have sounded beautiful, but somehow they carried an unspeakable sadness. "I know they all fear me, fear that one day I will lose control and harm them."
"Just like how I hurt you," Megatronous gripped B-127's hand. B-127 " no matter how hard you try to restrain yourself, a monster is still a monster."
A silence fell between them until B-127 spoke again, "I don't understand what you're saying."
Megatronous was slightly stunned, then just shook his head, "Sorry, just consider what I said as nonsense."
"I don't see any monsters here," B-127 said, his voice weak but powerful, looking directly at Megatronous.
"Isn't what I did to you strong enough evidence?" Megatronous almost hesitated under B-127's gaze.
"It is precisely because I am weak that I am injured," B-127 said firmly.
"Why are you still..."
"The Megatronous I know is a kind person, someone who gave me a day off, someone who helped me meet the Highguard, someone who didn't look down on me but trained with me and praised me," B-127 said, looking back. Looking straight into Megatronous's eyes.
"He may be strict, but I know how hard he tried, how he restrained himself, how he protected us.... Please, don't call him a monster," B-127 said, smiling at Megatronous. His eyes were so clear and pure that they seemed to burn him.
This time Megatronous laughed, a genuine laugh that seemed to cleanse many things from his heart.
"I've lost to you."
Outside the room, Sentinel hadn't left yet, he was still waiting behind the wall, his face displaying an indescribable complexity.
"too weak."

Notes:
Megatronous is a powerful being, but he is too afraid that this power will harm those he loves.
Chapter Text
Because the injury wasn't too serious, Bee was told he only needed one day of rest, but Megatronous gave him two days off to recover. For the other bots, that was lucky, but for Bee, it was incredibly boring.
Lying alone in the infirmary, the medical officer had left because of work, and everyone else was busy, leaving him bored and idle.
This scared him.
Lying still like this didn't suit him. Having tried to run away without permission, he'd been strapped back to the charging bed by the medical officer. He wanted to move, he needed to escape, he didn't want to be here alone.
He was scared.
He was scared.
He was scared.
"Hey mini , I heard you're injured."
A voice rang out, waking Bee from his deep thoughts.
"Skywarp?" Bee asked in disbelief, "Why are you here?"
"What, I can't visit you?" he smirked, crossing his arms and leaning against the clinic doorframe.
"N...no, it's just...how did you know I was injured?"
"Huh? Who do you think I am? Almost everyone knows you got beaten up and hospitalized. So many people witnessed it at the training ground, I have heard about it," Skywarp said, frowning.
"I came to visit you too, Bee," another voice chimed in from behind Skywarp.
"Thundercracker!!" Seeing Thundercracker made him even happier.
"How are you?" Thundercracker walked closer, looked at Bee, and asked.
"I'm perfectly fine, but Ratchet won't let me get out of my charging bed," Bee shook his head.
"That guy tied you to the charging bed? That's terrible! That medical officer is really something. Last time, I accidentally broke his wrench, and he threw two wrenches at me, almost sending me back to Primus," Skywarp shuddered, recalling that horrific memory.
"Anyway," Thundercracker sighed, then smiled at Bee, "It's good that you're okay. We have to go now."
"Oh, leaving so soon?" Bee sounded a little sad. Thundercracker tried to avoid Bee's puppy-dog eyes, afraid that if he looked at them, it would be hard to back down. "Yeah, even though we don't want to, we have no choice. Skywarp dragged me away from work to visit you, but today it's him...Starscream is guarding, so it's difficult. We can only rely on Skywarp's teleportation to sneak away a little,"
"Here's some energon for you to use if you're bored, consider it a treat," he said, placing several energon on the table.
"Thank you, Thunder," Bee said, smiling happily at Thundercracker's kindness.
"Hey, what about me? I have a gift for you too, tiny" Skywarp quickly took out a stone and placed it on Bee's table.
"What is this? It's shiny," Bee looked curiously at the stone, which glowed with a clear blue light.
"I don't know, I just thought it was pretty, so I picked it up for you," Skywarp just shrugged and said, "Thank me."
"Thank you, Skywarp, this thing looks beautiful, you're amazing!" Bee looked at the gifted stone and happily thanked him.
"Heh," Skywarp smiled a little shyly.
"We're leaving now, get some good rest, Bee," he said. Then they left, leaving Bee alone once again in this room.
"Goodbye."
Bee looked at the stone and the energon. This time he felt a little happier. If he had nothing to do, he would gaze at the Thundercracker and Skywarp's stone and energon. That way, he would know he wasn't alone. He would see it as them, he would talk to them, tell them many things.
"B-127"
A robotic voice interrupted Bee's thoughts.
B-127 is injured. Visit."
"Soundwave!" Bee exclaimed, surprised by the second visit.
Soundwave said nothing, walked into the infirmary, and placed a huge energon box on the table.
"A gift," Soundwave said simply, then pulled up a chair and sat down next to Bee.
"For me?! Thank you, you're so kind. So much! Don't you have anything to do today?" Bee was delighted to see Soundwave sitting next to his charging station.
"It's a break ," Soundwave said, taking an energy pill from the box. "B-127 needs an energy boost to recover."
Bee giggled, trying to wriggle free but couldn't. "I'm tied up by Ratchet, so I can't move right now. I'll eat it later." Bee saw the energy pill Soundwave offered him and, without thinking, took it.
"Thank you, it's delicious!" After finishing his meal, Bee saw Soundwave offer another pill, and he ate that too. The two robots continued to take turns eating and feeding Bee.
"Eating too much will unbalance your energy!"
At this point, Soundwave stopped feeding Bee. He turned around and saw Shockwave standing at the door.
"Soundwave's break is over," Soundwave said, though his expression didn't show it. His head and shoulders drooped slightly. He reluctantly stopped feeding Bee, watching Bee's puffed-up face as he ate; he didn't want to leave.
"Soundwave, you still have work to do, you have to go. Thank you for visiting and feeding me," Bee just smiled, not wanting Soundwave to leave his work.
Soundwave nodded, stood up, and left, not forgetting to tell Bee to rest before leaving.
"Rest well."
"Goodbye, Soundwave," Bee said with a forced smile.
Silence returned, but this time Bee didn't feel lonely or sad. Just as he was about to start thinking, he heard another voice.
"sleeping, B-127?"
Opening his eyes, he saw Starscream leaning against the door with a disdainful expression. "I heard you were injured and hospitalized. You're too weak."
Bee only managed a weak smile. "I'm sorry."
"Really? I trained you to this hard" Starscream said, looking up at Bee. Then he went to the table and placed several cans of energy drinks on it.
"Eat," he said only one word before leaving.
"Thank you."
Bee could only watch Starscream come and go quickly, only managing to say one word "thank you"
"Bee, are you feeling better? I was so busy today, I came to visit you a little late," Sentinel entered Bee's hospital room carrying a box of energon candy. He was about to place it on the table when Bee realized there was no more room. "What's this pile?"
"Ah, Sentinel, you came to visit me too?" Bee smiled and greeted Sentinel.
"Uh... yes... too?"
"Yes, for some reason, so many people are here today," Bee just nodded.
Soundwave, Shockwave, Thundercracker, skywarp, starscream, Megatronous Prime…etc"
"Is that so?" Sentinel didn't say much, just pulled up a chair and sat next to Bee's bed.
"Anyway, I brought you a lot of energon. You must be very hungry, tied up like this. That Medic was really cruel."
"I'm not hungry at all. On the contrary, I absorbed a lot today," Bee said cheerfully. "And Sentinel, have you eaten anything yet? I couldn't see you yesterday. You didn't skip meals, did you?" Bee asked worriedly.
Seeing Bee's concern, Sentinel didn't know what to say, only managing a wry smile and tapping Bee's forehead with his finger. "Take care of yourself first..." "How's your wound?" Sentinel wanted to gently stroke Bee's now-healed wound but hesitated.
"I'm completely fine. Tomorrow, when I can walk again, I'll go get it repainted with you," Bee said excitedly.
"You still remember?" Sentinel was surprised by Bee's words.
"Don't you want to?" Bee's eyes drooped slightly, as if accepting the refusal, but he still managed a smile.
"No, no, , I'll go, I'll go," Sentinel quickly interrupted Bee, not wanting to see his sad face.
"That's great!" Bee smiled brightly at Sentinel, making him feel much better.
Sentinel stayed and talked with Bee until very late. Bee advised him to go back and recharge, but he was still quite hesitant. At first, he intended to stay with Bee in the infirmary, but Bee said it would be harmful and not good. Finally, with Bee's persistence, he nodded.
"Rest well, see you tomorrow," Sentinel turned his head to look at Bee with a lingering expression before finally leaving.
"I thought you wouldn't come," Bee didn't look towards the door, but he seemed to be able to guess who had arrived.
A large, white shine figure, with a gentle smile always on his face.
"I'm sorry, there were too many things to handle, but it seems like today...You're not exactly bored today, are you?" Prima smiled, looking up at the pile of gifts on the table. "They really care about you." Then, Prima placed her hand on Bee's Helm and stroked it a few times. "so do I."
Bee just nestled in Prima's large, caressing hand and giggled.

Chapter Text
"Alright B-127, you're good to go," the medical officer said, looking at B-127's medical report.
"Great!!! Thank you, Ratchet!" Bee jumped up in joy, even giving the medical officer a hug.
"Alright, alright, let me go!" Ratchet was surprised by Bee's hug, and although he looked annoyed, he didn't push Bee away.
"Remember not to do anything strenuous—" Before he could finish his sentence, Bee transformed and ran off, leaving the officer shaking his head in exasperation. "Sigh, he never listens."
Bee ran down the hallway excitedly, the yellow car even jumping up and down . Even though he'd only been there for a day, it felt like an eternity to Bee. For him, lying still and unable to move was torture, so as soon as the medical officer allowed him to leave, he felt liberated and immediately transformed and sped off.
After running for a while, he saw a familiar figure. Because Bee was running at such high speed, when he transformed back, he bumped into the person in front of him, causing them to lose their balance slightly, but they still managed to regain their footing and hug the person who had just crashed into them.
"Wow, what a violent hug!" Prima giggled, holding the person in her arms.
"Lord Prima!!!" Bee happily hugged the person in front of him, "You came to visit me?, I've been discharged from the hospital!"
"I know, but don't run so fast right after being discharged, you might get injured again," Prima said gently, then put Bee down.
"I'll be fine, I've fully recovered," Bee said, showing Prima that he was perfectly alright.
"By the way, where are you planning to run off to?" "I'm going to the training grounds. Everyone should be there by now," Bee replied cheerfully.
"Now? Why don't you rest a bit more? Go tomorrow," Prima said, looking at Bee with concern.
Bee shook his head, "No, I'm fine. One day is more than enough. I need to release all the energy in my body," Bee said, raising his hands and waving them around to show how healthy he was. This made Prima chuckle a little before patting Bee on the shoulder, "Alright, then let me go with you," Prima said, then suddenly remembered something and said, "Oh right, there's a surprise for you there"
"Surprised?"
"Sentinel!!!" Bee was surprised to see the person inside the training ground; so this was the surprise Prima was talking about.
Sentinel, covered in dust from the training, turned around when he heard Bee's voice. Seeing the person Bee wanted to see, he abandoned the fight and ran towards him.
"Bee!! You've been discharged from the hospital? do you feel unwell anywhere?"
"I'm fine, but Sentinel, why are you here?" Bee looked at the person in front of him with a little surprise. Sentinel was the assistant, or strategist, of the Primes. Usually, he didn't need to go to the battlefield, and Bee knew Sentinel wasn't someone who liked fighting.
"Haha, surprised, aren't you? Suddenly, this guy ran to Megatronous and said he wanted to train together, and even challenged Megatronous to a fight!" Prima said, laughing.
Before Bee's question, he hesitated before answering, "I... I suddenly thought we should train a little just in case something happened, and besides, I thought..." "A strategist should sometimes go to the battlefield to help the prime ministers" he said, but only Sentinel knew the real reason he was training was because he wanted to be with Bee. Sentinel wasn't weak, he was once a trainee in the guard corps, but later he simply stayed in the office due to his busy schedule. Seeing Bee injured last time almost broke him. He was too weak; he needed to train, to become stronger so that at least he could go to the battlefield to protect Bee. He was even thinking about upgrading and adding weapons to himself.
"Wow, Sentinel, your words are so good," Bee said admiringly, taking Sentinel's hand. "So from now on, we can train together. Don't worry if anything happens, I'll protect you" Bee said firmly.
"I... I know," Sentinel looked at Bee's small hands holding his.
"B-127, you're all better now?" Bee heard voice A deep, resonant voice echoed from behind, and Bee turned to see Megatronous approaching.
"Lord Megatronous!!! Greetings, sir, I'm back!" Bee released Sentinel's hand and walked closer to Megatronous.
"I'm so glad to see you so well," Megatronous said, patting Bee's helmet a few times before turning to him. "Why are you still here, Prima?" Prima just shrugged. "I was going to leave, but I ran into Bee, so I came down here with him, I'm going now" Prima turned and left, but before leaving, he didn't forget to wink goodbye to Bee. “ Bee. Don't get hurt again"
"Yes," Bee happily waved. Megatronous and Sentinel watched Prima leave, both thinking the same thing"This guy has so much free time."
"Let's see if taking a few days off from training has diminished your skills, B-127. Sentinel, show me your abilities from your days as a military trainee."
Sentinel and Bee were on the same team, a 2 vs 1 situation. Initially, Bee wanted to immediately train with Megatronous, but Megatronous quickly refused, thinking Bee wasn't yet capable of fighting alone. So Sentinel offered to join Bee to fight Megatronous, resulting in this two-on-one situation. However,
K.O.
Indeed, even with two against one, defeating someone like Megatronous was impossible.
Both Sentinel and Bee were sprawled on the recovery area. Sentinel was silently cursing Megatronous, while Bee was grinning happily.
"Why are you so happy? Do you enjoy being beaten by Megatronous?" Sentinel asked, puzzled" No, it's not that, I just found it a little funny. Remember when you threw me at Megatronous earlier? He was even a little startled" Bee said, laughing.
"Ah, then," Sentinel recalled, "I was so scared, You suddenly told me to throw you like that"
"But it worked! I managed to scratch him!" Bee said boastfully.
"Yeah, yeah. Thanks to that, Megatronous got so angry he beat us both to a pulp. Look at us!" Sentinel said, rubbing Bee's helm. He was cursing Megatronous inwardly, Bee had only just been discharged from the hospital, and now he was hitting him so hard.
"Haha, come on, don't be angry anymore" Bee hugged Sentinel, looking up at him. "After training, let's go repaint our helmets, okay? we promised" Seeing Bee hugging him, Sentinel felt a little embarrassed, the unpleasant feelings from earlier subsiding. Almost everything vanished, leaving only the indulgent feeling of "I'm speechless with you."
It was almost evening when Sentinel and Bee went to repaint. They both took oil baths and repainted, with Sentinel occasionally glancing at the weapon upgrades. They also stopped at a restaurant for a meal. At first, Sentinel insisted on paying, but Bee refused, saying it would be strange to make Sentinel pay for everything, even though Bee had already paid for the painting. Sentinel insisted that since Bee had already paid for the paint, he would feel guilty if he didn't pay for the meal, so Bee reluctantly agreed.
Initially, Sentinel didn't pay much attention, preoccupied with conversation with Bee. But now, thinking back, this trip felt like a date. He almost shook his head in denial, thinking it was just a trip for two friends, but was that really the case? What was Bee to him? He realized he cared deeply for Bee, Bee was like a ray of light to him. Without that light, he felt cold. That time, seeing Prima hugging Bee's body almost... He was afraid, afraid of losing Bee, a fear greater than anything else.
He loved Bee.
At first, when he realized this, he was probably very surprised. Someone like him, capable of love, capable of cherishing someone? He always thought he would never fall for anyone, but perhaps Primus was truly teasing him, sending someone to break down his barriers.
"Bee," Sentinel suddenly stopped, looking at Bee and asking, his mind seemingly preoccupied with many thoughts.
"Sentinel, what's wrong?" Bee turned around and saw Sentinel standing still, his face almost unreadable.
"Do...do you like me?" Sentinel clenched his fists, struggling to utter this one sentence.
"Yes," hearing this from Bee, his face brightened. "You're my friend, I like everyone" This time, Sentinel's mood almost plummeted. "No—I mean..."
Bee seemed to sense Sentinel's mood sinking, but he couldn't figure out why. He thought he had said something to offend Sentinel. He grabbed Sentinel's hand and said apologetically, "What's wrong, Sentinel? Did I—did I say something wrong? I'm sorry, I... I really like being your friend. If you don't want to, I—"
As expected, Sentinel couldn't do anything. Seeing Bee, panicking and apologizing like that, Sentinel just wanted to burst out laughing. He seemed to have overthought things. Poor Bee, he probably didn't know anything. Sentinel just shook his head and chuckled.
"No, Bee, I'm sorry for making you panic. Of course I like being your friend."
That's enough. No need to rush. He can wait. He'll always be by Bee's side. That's enough.
It should be like that.

The training period has ended, and the trainees are now officially members of the Highguard team. Naturally, a grand induction ceremony will be held to celebrate the completion of their training.
B-127, standing at the party, excitedly looked around. He also ran to the table full of energon, happily taking each one to try.
"B-127!" Soundwave approached Bee when he saw him at the table.
"Soundwave!!! Why are you here? Did you come to see the new team members?" Bee was delighted to see his friend.
"Negative," Soundwave's robotic voice replied, then he gently slipped something into Bee's servo.
Bee was surprised by the bouquet in his hand and looked at Soundwave.
"Congratulations, B-127, becoming an official member of the Highguard," Soundwave said in a calm voice.
"Thank you, Soundwave," Bee said, touched. Moved by Soundwave's words and gift, Bee quickly hugged Soundwave to express his gratitude.
While the two were enjoying this touching moment,
"Hey, hey Bee, I finally found you!" Skywarp suddenly appeared and walked naturally towards Bee.
Bee heard the voice, released Soundwave, and turned to look at the approaching figure.
"Skywarp!!!"
"Yes, it's me. Do you know how hard for me to find the little bug like you , in this place?" Skywarp said reproachfully.
"Why are you here?" Bee didn't pay much attention to the insult, simply ignoring it and asking his own question.
"Huh, I... I came here, of course, to eat. Such a lavish party is too wasteful just for you guys, and besides, nobody's stopping us from participating," Skywarp quickly said.
"Oh, really? You're right. Then you should try these energons, they're delicious," after hearing Skywarp's reply, Bee pointed out and handed Skywarp some of the energons he found delicious.
"Wait a minute, little bug, it's true I came to eat, but..." Skywarp quickly took a bouquet of flowers from his drawer and gave it to Bee, "I want to congratulate you on becoming a full member of Highguard."
Bee looked at the large bouquet in his hand and was moved. "Skywarppp!!" Skywarp smiled broadly and turned away to eat at the party.
A hand gently touched Bee's shoulder armor. He turned around and saw it was Thundercracker, who was smiling softly at him.
"Congratulations, Bee! We're teammates now. Sorry I didn't bring anything to celebrate. I'll make it up to you next time."
Bee shook his head. "Your congratulations are enough for me," he replied happily.
From afar, Megatronous and Prima were standing next to each other, chatting, but Prima's gaze was fixed on Bee's figure, gazing at that light, making his smile even gentler. Megatronous seemed to sense something, but deep down, he truly hoped it was just a misunderstanding. He knew what that look was like because he had the same look.
"Prima, are you…" Megatronous seemed about to ask something, but Prima turned around and interrupted him.
"Megatronous, perhaps I should ask Bee," Prima said, his voice calm, as if this were just a normal conversation about the weather, but Megatronous's fist tightened.
"What are you going to ask?" he suppressed himself and asked back as if it were a normal conversation. Prima said nothing, raising his finger to his mouth in a gesture to keep this a secret.
Megatronous was right.
Bee was happily chatting with his friends when a large figure approached, startling them. Bee saw his friend, who had been relaxed, suddenly stand up straight. He turned around.
"Lord Megatronous" Bee greeted Megatronous cheerfully, his hand reaching out to Megatronous. He gently lifted and placed it on Bee's helm.
Although Megatronous was still wearing his mask, Bee could sense that something was wrong behind it.
"Lord Megatronous, is something wrong?" Megatronous was surprised by Bee's question. He knew that despite Bee's seemingly carefree appearance, he could sense other people's emotions quite accurately. Instead of answering directly, he shook his head smile behind his mask and said, "Thank you."
Megatronous's thanks only made Bee more confused.
"Prima wants to talk to you privately," Megatronous said calmly, but his spark was heavy. Bee nodded, though somewhat confused. Megatronous lingered a little longer. Though reluctant to leave, he feared that if he kept looking at Bee, he wouldn't be able to let go, so he had to.
He left. The party was crowded and bustling, but Megatronous's retreating figure seemed strangely painful.
"What's wrong with him?" Skywarp asked, but no one knew how to answer.
"Bee, it seems he said Lord Prima has something to say to you," Thundercraper reminded Bee. Bee snapped out of his daze. "Yeah, I'll be back in a bit," he said to them and ran off to meet Prima.
Sentinel held in his hand the crystal bouquet he had painstakingly ordered. He wanted to give it to Bee, the crystal bouquet sparkled brightly like Bee's optics, but he thought Bee's colors were more beautiful. Because it was a holiday, Sentinel had a lot of work to do, but he had tried his best to finish it early so he could go congratulate Bee. Walking briskly down the hallway, he really wanted to see Bee.
Sentinel felt lucky, he caught sight of a familiar yellow figure. He called out, "Be—"
"What do you think, Bee?"
Before he could finish, he heard another voice near Bee. Judging by the voice, it was probably Prima. He hid behind the wall, wondering why he had to hide like that, but something told him he had to listen to their conversation. He then wished he hadn't stopped, wished he hadn't overheard that conversation.
"Would you agree to become…?"
The crashing sound echo in Sentinel’s receptors
That crystal bouquet fell and shattered into pieces, just like Sentinel

Chapter Text
"Hey, Sentinel, you're here to congratulate someone too?... are you allright ?" Skywap greeted Sentinel as he approached, but his expression wasn't very good.
Sentinel, clutching a shattered bouquet of glass flowers, had a gloomy expression and didn't reply, only silently nodding in return. This left the group at a loss for words, then...
"Sentinel!!!" B-127, who had just returned from a conversation with Prima, was very excited to see Sentinel. He ran over and happily greeted himl.
"Bee, you're finally back! What did Prima talk to you about?" Hearing Thundercracker's question, Bee immediately dodged the question and stammered in reply
"S…something…mi…mission, yes, it's a mission!!" Everyone could see Bee was shyly hiding something, so they didn't ask too deeply, but Sentinel could figure out the reason behind it.
"By the way... Sentinel, what are you holding in your hand?" Bee quickly changed the subject.
Sentinel, the one called by name, was slightly surprised and tightened his grip on the bouquet. He showed it to Bee. "I wanted to give it to you as a gift, but I accidentally broke it. It's so ugly. I'll buy you another one." Sentinel lowered his head slightly, his lips pressed together, his hands and voice trembling as if he had done something wrong.
"For me? That's wonderful! It's so beautiful. Thank you, Senti!" Bee hugged Sentinel tightly, happily cradling the bouquet, ignoring the fact that it was cracked and ugly. "It's not ugly at all. Sentinel must have worked hard to get it. I'll take good care of it." Bee smiled, holding the bouquet. He didn't find it ugly at all. This bouquet was Sentinel's effort, and Bee found it incredibly precious.
Watching Bee cherish the cracked bouquet, Sentinel's spark burned with an unusual warmth. He knew Bee would be happy, would appreciate any gift he gave her, no matter how tattered it was, but that's why he hurt, why he found it so hard to let go. Even though he told himself that being with Bee was enough, once something blossomed, it was hard to hold back. He had to hold back, and the more he held back, the more it hurt.
The whole group saw Sentinel's darkened face. Bee could sense Sentinel's suffering, but they all thought he was blaming himself for breaking the bouquet for Bee. Only Sentinel knew that wasn't the case.
Bee tugged at Sentinel's shoulder and comforted him. Seeing his worried expression, he could only manage a bitter smile.
It was a distorted and painful smile.
"I'm okay, Bee," "Perhaps being with you is enough," Sentinel said something no one understood, gently stroking Bee's helm.
No one understood what Sentinel was saying.
Sentinel understood that he had to truly let go.
The party ended, and the new recruits officially became members of the HighGuard force.
B-127, with his small and agile physique, became a scout working under Soundwave in the team and also Prima Prime's personal scout.
Bee's orn schedule consisted of scouting, slaying Quintessa, hanging out with the team, hanging out with Sentinel, hanging out with Prima—it was peaceful, although he was often scolded by the medical officer for not taking care of himself after fighting Quintessa.
Sentinel, on the other hand, couldn't go to the battlefield with Bee. He was the Prime's strategist, and strategists couldn't constantly be on the battlefield. Bee had to persuade him repeatedly before he agreed not to participate in combat. Because he couldn't be by Bee's side and protect him, he worked tirelessly, trying his best to devise strategies that could help Bee fight while maintaining the necessary safety. But lately, he's been really stressed out, Bee returned covered in wounds. With new wounds all over his body, no matter how hard he tried to protect him, getting injured was unavoidable, but why was he always the one who got hurt the most?!
Furthermore, Quintessa's behavior was very strange, their soldiers were unusually aggressive and had inflicted significant damage on their side. Many new recruits were seriously wounded, and some even.... Sentinel was truly in a predicament. He needed to know why they were behaving this way, he needed information, he needed someone to investigate them in the western region, but right now the most suitable scout for this mission was B-127, and he didn't want to gamble with Bee.
Well, Sentinel didn't have to worry about that anymore.
Sentinel took the next file, then jumped up in panic, rushing out of the office to meet the Primes.
The door burst open violently, Sentinel's shout almost echoing throughout the meeting room.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!"
The Primes were almost taken aback by Sentinel's explosive shout.
"Sentinel, what's wrong—" Alpha Trion was the first to speak.
"HOW COULD YOU LET B-127 SURVEY QUINTESSA? IT'S TOO MUCH!" DANGER!!"
Realizing Sentinel's concern for his teammate, no one questioned him too much. Alpha Trion tried to explain to Sentinel
"B-127 is a skilled scout. With his agility and small stature, he could easily infiltrate their territory. Furthermore, the western area of the palace is very familiar to him"
"But what if something happens—" Sentinel was still trying to change their minds.
"Sentinel, that's enough. I know you're worried, but we really have no other choice. Even you think so, don't you?" Megatronous interrupted Sentinel, his voice low and menacing.
Sentinel clenched his fists. "What the hell?" He turned to Prima and questioned, "Do you agree with this, Lord Prima?"
Prima said nothing, only turning away, uttering a sentence that Sentinel found chilling "I trust B-127."
Sentinel was almost speechless. Gritting his teeth, he wanted to unleash his rage, he wanted to question these people, "CLEARLY YOU ARE HIS-"
"Enough, Sentinel, the decision has been made, you can't change anything now," Zeta Prime interrupted, ending the conversation there.
Sentinel was helpless.
He left, his steps strangely heavy.
That night at the Iron Fortress, in his office, Sentinel sat silently, hunched over a data sheet, almost oblivious to everything around him.
"I heard you had a fight with the Primes" Bee said, standing in the doorway, still with that same smile, walking closer to Sentinel's desk.
Sentinel barely looked at Bee, his face still downcast.
"Don't you trust me?" Bee's voice was as normal as if he were asking about the weather, but it startled Sentinel. He looked at Bee, waving his hand as he explained,
"No…it's not like that…" He turned away, his voice soft, " it just, I'm worried, what if—"
"I'm very worried about you," Bee said, his voice slightly softer, surprising Sentinel. What did he have to worry about? Wasn't it him who should be worried? He was about to go into danger!
Bee seemed to understand Sentinel's surprised expression and immediately sat down on the cold floor, leaving Sentinel speechless.
"Bee, why are you sitting on the floor? we have chair" Sentinel ask Bee to sit on the armchair. Sentinel's desk only had one chair, but he had an armchair just for Bee. He couldn't understand why Bee was suddenly sulking, no matter how much Sentinel tried to talk with him, Bee wouldn't listen and just turn away.
Sentinel, feeling helpless, lifted Bee up and moved him to his chair, now Bee is siting on his chair while he is the one standing. Standing would make him too tall for Bee, so he knelt on one knee to talk to Bee, even though he was still slightly taller.
"Bee, why are you angry?" Sentinel asked, his voice almost coaxing. Bee turned his head away, not looking at Sentinel, which made Sentinel's spark ache slightly.
"Sentinel is an idiot" a soft voice replied, but with a hint of resentment. Sentinel said nothing, listening intently despite the insults.
"Lately, you've been incredibly tired. I know you're stressed out because of Quintessa. I want to help you, but I'm too stupid to do anything for you."
Sentinel was slightly taken aback. Did he really look that tired? It was true, he just hadn't noticed, he had too many other things to worry about.
"So when I heard I was assigned to infiltrate the enemy's lair, even though I knew it was dangerous, I was so happy because I could finally help you."
Sentiel's Spark almost warmed up. He found it amusing; Bee was so worried about him.
"And yet you had the nerve to forbid me from doing this mission? You don’t trust me, don't you?!"
This time, Sentinel was truly flustered. He hadn't expected his desire to protect Bee to be interpreted this way. He quickly explained, wanting to clarify things for Bee, wanting to say that he didn't mean it that way, that he would never...
"I'm sorry, Bee, it's not that I don't trust you, it's just that..." I’m afraid, Sentinel felt a hand stroking his helm.
"please let me help you, even just a little" Bee finally look at him, he gently stroked Sentinel's helm.
Sentinel almost saw a light radiating from Bee, a warmth that made him want to embrace him forever. He wanted to say no, he wanted to say that Bee had helped him more than he thought, that if it without Bee, he would have collapsed long ago.
Sentinel sighed, knowing that nothing could stop Bee once he had made up his mind. He grabbed Bee's hand, his words almost a plea.
"Please stay safe." Bee smiled, striking a pose as if showing off his strength. "Don't worry, I'm Badasstron, no one can defeat me."
Sentinel chuckled at the name. "What's Badasstron?"
"I made it up myself, isn't it cool?" Bee proudly boasted.
"Cool, very cool." Sentinel giggled, thinking how adorable Bee was.
The two chatted and laughed happily for a long time until Bee had to leave.
Sentinel said goodbye to Bee, clenching his fist. Bee was amazing, he was quick, sharp, and strong. He would return safely, perhaps with a few minor injuries, but that was okay, he would find a place to treat him.
Yes
He trusted Bee.
He believed in Bee.
He should have stopped Bee then.
He should have been more assertive.
He shouldn't have let Bee go.
If he could come back, he would do everything to keep Bee stay
He was so stupid.
.....
...
..
.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!"
In the hallway, Sentinel ran like crazy. He heard Bee had returned, but…
Rushing to the infirmary, he saw Prima waiting there, his face almost deathly pale. Megatronous stood leaning against the wall, his face turned away, his shoulders stiff, and the other Primes stood around.
Soundwave, Shockwave, and the Seekers were also there, the infirmary was unusually crowded, but that was why he was so terrified.
Trembling, he glanced through the small window, almost collapsing, his legs giving way. He was horrified, he covered his mouth with his hand he want to throw up, he want to throw up everything.
B-127, his Bee.
Bee lay on the emergency room bed, his chest punctured, the tubes charred black, only a faint blue light remaining. His left leg and right arm were completely torn apart, the wounds only centimeters from the combustion chamber, wires and tubes attached to his body to sustain his tiny life. He lay motionless, as if in a peaceful sleep, if not for the medical officer's desperate efforts to keep him alive and the flickering image of life displayed on the monitor.
Bee was truly entering the allspark.
Sentinel wanted to scream, to shout with all his might, to call Bee's name, but he could only helplessly kneel and watch the medical room door close.
He questioned himself.
A weakling
A weakling
If you were stronger
You clearly said you would protect Bee, but you couldn't do anything, watching him get injured every day, on the brink of death, and still being powerless, only able to sit in that empty office, making stupid plans, and unable to even participate in the battle.
He clawed at the iron floor, his fingers almost deformed. He stood up wanting to hit Prima, but was stopped by Thundercracker and Skywarp.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM? HE WAS SO OBEDIENT TO YOU. IF YOU HAD SAID A WORD, HE WOULDN'T BE LIKE THIS."
"Stop, Sentinel, enough! Are you crazy?" Thundercracker tried to stop Sentinel.
"SAY SOMETHING, PRIMA!" Sentinel roared angrily, but Prima only bowed his head, refusing to look at him.
This only angered Sentinel more. He wanted to escape the grip of the two robots. "HE CHOSE YOU!"
"HE TRUSTED YOU!"
He clenched his fists, his fingers almost breaking under their weight.
"HE TRUSTED YOU PRIMAAA!!!!"
In the room, Sentinel looked at the datasheet Bee had brought back, picked it up, and wanted to crumple it.
"Strategist?" He clenched it so tightly that cracks were almost visible.
"Protect?" His voice trembled as if it were about to shatter.
“what a joke”
He slumped, trembling.
" Too weak."
"So weak that I can't even protect the one I love." He buried his face in his hands.
"You swear to protect him"
"what the scrap can you do Sentinel"
'Why can you do anything right"
"If I'm much bigger"
"If I can be stronger, like Megatronous"
"If only I were a Prime, I would never—"
"..."
Yes
"That's right."
Sentinel appears to be experiencing some kind of enlightenment.
“haha”
I understand now
If only I were Prime
“ha…haha…..hahahahahahahahahaha”
Maybe I can be stronger
Yes yes yes yes
I would never let Bee get hurt again
Yes yes yes yes yes
I could protect him
“hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha”
Finally, I can protect him now!!!
Sentinel is crazy
Notes:
ohhhhhh finally to this chapter, Sentinel is no turning back now 😈😈😈😈😈
poor my babe Bee I love him, but I also want to torture him
I really liked the scene where Sentinel let Bee sit in his office chair instead of the armchair in the room. I felt it showed how much Sentinel loved Bee. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but I found it incredibly adorable😤😤😤😤
Chapter 13: The Prime's own Scout
Summary:
This chapter is just Prime's dialogue and emotional turmoil. very chill
Chapter Text
“Hello Bee, I’ve come to visit you again.”
Inside the med-bay, only two mechs remained. B-127 lay still upon the charging berth, his frame tangled in a web of cables. His arms and legs had been meticulously reattached, leaving barely a seam behind. Beside him sat Prima, waiting for something, anything.
“It has been several orns since you lost consciousness. A lot has happened.”
Prima began his monologue, a routine he had repeated countless times before when he come here. He told Bee stories, desperate to keep Bee loneliness away, visiting every single day to talk—even if it felt like he was merely speaking into a void, to someone who couldn't hear a thing.
“Sentinel has been acting strange lately. His attitude is… off. Haha, he’s been avoiding me quite a bit. Haha… I must have annoyed him, haha…” Prima forced a laugh, trying to make it sound like a joke, desperately wanting to bring a flicker of light into this bleak medical room. But the laughter was strained, failing miserably to hide his unease.
Prima lowered his helm, his hands entwined—or rather, gripping each other with agonizing force.
“You must hate me so much, mustn't you, Bee?” he whispered, a bitter smile cutting across his face.
“Perhaps Sentinel was right. If only I had stopped you back then, things wouldn't have turned out like this.” His hands began to tremble.
“I keep thinking… was bringing you here ever the right choice?”
“You know, when I first saw you, compared to everyone else, you were so small. It was my first time seeing a minibot, and I was just so curious.” Prima wandered back into his memories, and a genuine, gentle smile involuntarily softened his features.
“Then you bumped into me. That was when I finally got a close look at you. Your armor was so bright, your optics wide, round, and a pure, clear blue.”
“You looked up at me with those brilliant optics, read my name out loud, and gushed about how great I was. That was when I noticed your audials twitching—it was incredibly endearing.” He let out a soft chuckle at the memory.
“We started talking more and more… and that’s when I realized how terribly lonely you were. Behind that energetic, cheerful facade, you had no friends. Either they ignored you, or they simply looked down on you for being a minibot. But you never seemed discouraged, not even a little. You told me so many stories of your adventures; you boasted that you knew every layout of this place, how you crawled through ventilation pipes to take shortcuts, and where to hide so no one could find you.”
“I was so amazed. And right then, a bold idea took root in my mind.”
“I thought about letting you join the Highguard as a scout. If it were you, you would undoubtedly become a magnificent scout.”
“And I wasn't wrong. You became an extraordinary scout. With your bright personality, you made so many friends. You weren't lonely anymore…”
“Sometimes… that made me a little jealous. I was no longer your only friend. What an unbecoming thought for a Prime, haha.” He laughed sheepishly before Bee’s sickbed.
“But seeing you that happy made me happy too. Besides, you were my personal scout, weren't you? How could I possibly stay jealous, haha? Yes, my personal scout. Just the title alone was enough to make the others burn with envy. To have such a wonderful scout, and one who listened to me above anyone else, hahaha,” he laughed.
“A wonderful scout…” The boastful, cheerful chuckle began to quiet down.
“Who listened to me most…” Then, the smile withered entirely, replaced by a wave of sharp sorrow, swallowed by a choked sob.
Prima’s hands clenched together so hard the metal groaned, threatening to crack, leaving ugly dents behind.
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry,” Prima whispered, his voice strangled, suppressed. He buried his face, the unspeakable agony laying itself bare as his entire frame shook violently.
“If only I had told you not to go, then instead of lying here in this cold med-bay, you would probably be out there, running around happily.”
“But I couldn't stop you. With the weight of a Prime upon my shoulders, I couldn't stop you.” The more he spoke, the deeper he sank into despair, burying his face in his trembling hands.
“How cruel.”
“Why… why did it have to be my choice?”
“Why did I ever bring you into this?”
“I only wanted to be by your side. I wanted to talk to you more.”
“Only when I’m with you do I feel like myself. Not a Prime.”
“I wish I were never a Prime.”
“But I am a Prime, and I am also your…”
“Now, I don't even know if I still have the right to call myself that anymore.”
“You must despise me right now, don't you?” He offered a bitter, sorrowful smile.
“I won’t."
“!!!!” Hearing the voice he hadn't heard in an eternity, Prima bolted upright. Panicked and trembling, he rushed closer to Bee.
“B-Bee, you’re awake?!” He shakily took Bee’s hand, cradling it with such tender reverence, as if that hand were a fragile, precious treasure that might shatter at the slightest pressure.
Bee’s optics flared dimly. He looked at the Prime he so deeply revered, who was now wearing an expression of pure anguish a sight the minibot had never seen before.
He smiled at him. A smile that the Prime treasured above all else in the universe; a smile as gentle and warm as a spring breeze.
“I could never hate you.”
“Not now.”
“Not ever.”
