where pre-tfatws sam n bucky get sex pollened but its a special type that only effects the people exposed to it

and genuinely bucky thinks hes just being hashtag extra dramatic about sam this week and has to snap himself out of it

but sam is slowly losing his mind trying to comprehend why at any given moment he feels the strongest urge to throw himself at barnes

yadda yadda a whole week of frustrations & feelings & being stuck in various salacious predicaments

cue to sam finally having enough and demanding bucky bend him over the kitchen counter right now or so god help him

thinking about how buck and sam both bickering back and forth about sam being cold after a mission . sam refusing stubbornly while buck is Persistent

and finally with a huff bucky just gets up and takes his coat off and drapes it around sams shoulders all while muttering an exasperated 'u are impossible ' under his breath

& for all the fight sam put up he stills. blush rising to his ears

and bucky is so fucked bcus sam just looks up through those thick eyelashes and mutters a soft 'thanks buck' & snuggles up into the coat cutely focusing back on the chilli dog infront of him

buck all wide-eyed flustered at his actions. a fierce red blush steadily spreading across his cheeks. 'whatever' he scowls & looks away

all while buckys head is exploding 'OMG OMG OMG OMG'

they've had a pretty quiet week mostly just recon and the standard mountain of paper work for sam

now that the thunderbolts are working with sams team, he feels better about being stuck in the new avengers tower, they've been here long enough to settle into a nice routine

more importantly its nice to have bucky back by his side but thats neither here nor there

the communal kitchen is bursting with noise, as sam walks by

curious, sam watches as bucky is surrounded, as the others rib on him

walker notices sam, 'o perfect sam ur here, we're playing a game'

sam comes to stand next to yelena who seems a lil too joyful at the moment

'so I've got a new game. It's called "Alpine or Sam". I give you real things I've heard Bucky say, and you all have to tell me if he was talking about his cat or his partner.' walker the smug bastard blurts out

'the first couple ones were too easy, bucky only ever calls u sweetheart anyways, but we can't figure this one out' joaquin says 'we're stuck on 'come here darling''

and bucky starts to have a meltdown while sam is blushing head to toe, knowing bucky says that to him ALL THE TIME
