Chapter Text
But if I'm not worth my body then I don't what I'm worth.
They say I should love me, will I ever learn?
Cause I still hold my value in others' words.
Seek validation from them or else I crash and burn.
No sense of self just what they tell me I am.
Do they only like me when I'm useful?
Will they leave when I'm helpless?
If I cover it up am I still attractive?
They only love me in the dead of night and I know that they'll leave come morning light.
But I do it anyway. What can I say?
Because if I'm not worth my body then I don't what I'm worth.
They say I should love me, will I ever learn?
Cause I still hold my value in others' words.
Seek validation from them or else I crash and burn.
When our clothes are off, I dont have to think about it; and I finally feel wanted.
So I give it all away. I give it all away.
And when the night is dark I push down the shame.
And it's vicious cycle, I give my body away then feel like discarded trash.
Is this full circle? Will I always feel this way? Maybe,
I'm not worth my body, I'm worth my soul.
I love me, at least I'm starting to learn.
And their words can't hurt me if I don't let them in
Don't need their validation to know who I am.
