Chapter Text

Kalego entered the royal one already knowing what was going to happened. The Abnormal class has been snickering whenever they past him in the hallway that morning. He knew they had set up a trap or a prank for him when he entered. And just as he suspected Multiple traps came hurling at him at top speed. Kalego use a simple magic barrier to stop the weapons and traps. "OH come on! We made sure that was at top speed!" Lied yelled out in frustration. "Since you all seem to think this is all so funny... I will be giving out double the homework." Kalego-sensei said with a smirk on his face. "Oh come on!" "Eggie-sensei is so mean!" "Kalego-sensei you don't understand youth at all!" Shouted the misfit class while they surround Kalego-sensei. Iruma chuckle at the normal sight he has grown used to over the years.

How did it all come to this... It was suppose to be a normal lesson with Robin-sensei teaching them how to comfort their familiar in a place that makes them uncomfortable. Kalego-sensei being Iruma's familiar of course is there in his familiar form which the misfit class tease him for. How did it come to this..

Half an hour earlier

"Alright everyone! Get out for familiar! Today we'll be learning how to comfort our familiar while giving them commands in an area where they are uncomfortable." Robin-sensei said with his usual cheeriness. The misfit did as they were told and instantly they sense their familiar was uncomfortable with the current place their class was taking place. "it will be fine.." Asmodeus said to his own familiar seeing how his gorgon snake wrapped itself around him. "Oh my.. Please don't be scared my dears" Elizabetta said trying to comfort her floral papillon that was flying all over the place in panic. Iruma looked at all the other familiar and then glance at his own familiar..Kalego-sensei. Kalego-sensei glared at him but didn't say a word. "Are you.. Alright Kalego-sensei?" Iruma asked concern for his homeroom teacher who just so happened to be his familiar. Kalego-sensei didn't answer him. It was clear to anyone that Kalego-sensei did not like being someone's familiar but being this quiet just made iruma even more worried because usually Kalego-sensei would scold and yell at him for summoning him. Kalego couldn't lie that being in this form at this location made him very uncomfortable but he wasn't staying quiet because of the uncomfortable feeling. It was because he sense danger lurking around the corner but he couldn't pinpoint where. Being in his familiar form doesn't help if they all get attack since he knew that he's power drastically decrease when in this form. Just when Kalego-sensei was about to warn Iruma and his idiot of a kouhai, a large group of rouge demons attacked them. There was about 50 demons on every side. Trapping them right in the middle. "H...Hey!" Robin-sensei was taken by suprise as the demon began attacking in a large group. The students of the misfit class did everything they could to defend against the attack but with the large number of enemies along with their familiars attacking their own classmate was prove to be impossible. "UGh! Iruma-sama! Be careful!" Asmodeus shouted seeing Iruma dodging attacks left and right. They all shouted to each other trying to get out of this mess. "Hey! Sabnock-kun control your familiar! It's attacking me instead!" Jazz said trying to fight off both enemy and his other classmates familiar. "I'm trying but he won't listen to me!" Sabnock shouted while fighting the enemy. Kalego-sensei glance around and made a split second decision. He use the remaining mana he had to put a barrier around the misfit class and robin. They were all injured and panting. "OI Newbie gather your mana and use a teleportation spell to teleport yourself and the Abnormal class to Babyls now!" Kalego-sensei shouted over his continuous use of cerberobuth. "But Kalego-sensei if we want to teleport everyone out you would need to be inside the Barrier as well!" Robin-sensei shouted realizing Kalego-sensei plan was to make them leave him here. Robin-sensei glance around at the remaining men. There was easily around 120 demon left attacking Kalego at every side with large and advange weapons. "Just do it Newbie! That's a direct order!" Kalego-sensei shouted trying to draw the demon attacking him attention away from the barrier. Robin-sensei clench his fist and gathered his remaining mana. It was just enough to teleport himself and the Abnormal class to the teachers lounge in Babyls. As they teleported the Abnormal class look at their homeroom teacher that was now on the ground panting heavily with cuts and injuries all around his familiar body.

The Abnormal class and Robin-sensei landed in the teacher's lounge with a thud. Every eye looked towards the sound. Without a second to spare every teacher currently in the room rush towards the injured students and their newest faculty member. "What happened?!" Dali-sensei exclaim checking the students for their injuries. "We were attack by a large group of rouge demons.. there were around 200 demons attacking us all at every side. Kalego-sensei manage to put a barrier around us before we get any serious injuries... But.. He ordered me to teleport myself and the Abnormal class out of there leaving him behind" Robin-sensei explain before passing out due to the extreme mana use. Suzy-sensei manage to catch him before robin-sensei hit the ground. Blushenko-sensei immediately use his magic to heal their wounds. "A large number of rouge demons.. This is bad.. Iruma, when you summon Kalego-sensei was he in the school area or did he came with you on to the area?" Dali-sensei said taking charge of the situation. Iruma looked at Dali-sensei with tears in his eyes. "He came with us.. I already release the summon but.. Kalego... Kalego-sensei seemed really tired and injured.." Iruma said with tears falling down his face. Dali-sensei face darken as he heard that. "It's okay Iruma. This isn't your fault. Orias-sensei. Go find the chair demon right now!" Dali-sensei said. Orias nodded before sprinting out of the lounge area as fast as he can. The teachers look at the Abnormal class. All of them were either tired, crying or unconscious. "This is bad..." Marbas-sensei mumbled to himself. Iruma was crying into Asmodeus arms. Asmodeus stayed silent because he had caught a glimps of Kalego-sensei before getting teleported and what he saw shocked him to the core. Before long Lord sullivan, opera, Balam and orias came rushing into the room. "First thing first. Is everyone ok?" Lord sullivan asked the remaining Abnormal students that was still conscious. "We didn't get hurt too badly.." Lied manage to say although his voice shook badly. Lord sullivan nodded. He glance at Opera who nodded at the signal. Opera went to Iruma and gently picked him up. Before Opera could say anything iruma looked at him with teary eyes. "Kalego-sensei.. he was bleeding out... He was using so much mana.. I could feel him getting weaker through the summoning sticker.. I felt so scared.." Iruma cried out hugging Opera. Opera's and Balam's blood went cold. For Iruma to tell them that about Kalego.. The same Naberius Kalego they have known since they went to Babyls in their first and second years. The very same Naberius Kalego who refuses to show any weakness or emotion such as crying or getting too emotion was actively hurt and pushing himself over the limit hundreds of miles away from where they are now. Lord sullivan expression darkens. "Balam-sensei, Orias-sensei, Momonoki-sensei, dan Dali-sensei go to the area and assist Kalego or find anything to him. Blushenko-sensei you will watch over the Abnormal class and heal their wounds. I'll go report what happened today to the Border Patrol along with the parents or guardians of the injured including Kalego-sensei and Robin-sensei." Lord sullivan gave out the order. The teachers got to work. Dali-sensei, Momonoki-sensei, Balam-sensei and Orias-sensei ran out of the school and flew over to the area as fast they could while blushenko-sensei and suzy-sensei brought the Abnormal class and Robin-sensei to the medical wing of the school.

Dali-sensei, Momonoki-sensei, Balam-sensei and Orias-sensei arrived at the area. It was filled with blood and Dead bodies of the rouge demons. "Spread out and find any trace of Kalego-sensei!" Dali-sensei said already searching around for his missing colleague. The other's nodded and quickly began to search as well. Balam followed the traces of fresh blood and as he turn around the corner he saw Kalego bleeding out from multiple stab wounds, a concussion, hand our ready to use his his magic again even though he knows nothing will come out. "Kalego-kun it's me!" Balam-sensei yelled out loud enough for the other teachers could hear. Balam raise his hand showing he wasn't going to hurt Kalego. The other teachers rush towards Balam. Kalego didn't say anything. Clearly fighting all the men after using a lot of mana to create the barrier is pushing him to his absolute limit. "Kalego-sensei. Your hurt. Let us treat you. You're not thinking straight." Dali-sensei said tiring to make Kalego-sensei more aware of his surrounding. Kalego threw a rock at them which Balam easily caught since it was a weak throw. Kalego-sensei was shaking. A clear sign when a demon overuse their mana. If Kalego-sensei doesn't get help in about a few minutes Kalego-sensei's heart will give out. "Momonoki-sensei. Try using healing magic on him!" Balam-sensei yelled out of worry for his best friend. "Got it." Momonoki-sensei said getting closer to Kalego-sensei. But as soon as she got close Kalego-sensei threw a nearby dagger at her. Orias-sensei quickly use his bloodline ability to make sure the knife didn't hit any of them. Balam-sensei took action and restraint Kalego-sensei. Kalego-sensei trash around Balam-sensei's grip but with no luck of getting out. Balam-sensei didn't know if it was because Kalego-kun was weaken after the long battle or due to his overuse of mana but he did know that Kalego-kun wasn't going to survive much longer if he doesn't receive any time of healing magic. And with that Balam-sensei gave a nod to Momonoki-sensei to continue to try using a healing spell. Momonoki-sensei wasted no time and casted the spell using her staff. At first Kalego-sensei struggled but after a few second he stopped and fell unconscious. The good news was he wasn't shaking anymore. Balam-sensei picked Kalego by a bridal carry. Momonoki-sensei stood next Balam-sensei for the next few minutes to make sure Kalego-sensei's wounds would be fine enough to make the journey back to Babyls.

As Balam-sensei, Dali-sensei, Orias-sensei and Momonoki-sensei arrived back to school with Balam-sensei carrying the unconscious and injured Kalego they notice that the school was filled with Border patrol officers at every corners. "Woah.. This.. This is unnexpected." Orias-sensei said looking at the confuse and scared students watching from the upper floor windows. Azazel Henri stepped forward. "Please foll- wait.. Naberius Kalego?! Is he alright?" Henri asked in concern. Before any of the four teachers could answer Lord sullivan, Opera and Narnia walks towards them. Opera dash forward when he saw Kalego. "Kalego-kun!" Opera said looking at the terrible injuries Kalego had. Narnia step forward. His eyes narrow and darken as he saw his precious Baby brother this hurt. "Give him to me." Narnia demanded with no room to refuse. Balam gently gave Kalego to Narnia who hold Kalego tightly and protectively. "Did his wound not heal by healing magic?" Narnia asked his voice lace with venom and anger. "We tried but it could only heal a small bit." Dali-sensei answer with his tone serious. Narnia simply nodded and turn around before walking to the school.

In the corridor students whisper to each other but stopped when they saw an intimidating men that looks similar to Kalego-sensei walk down the corridor carrying an injured and unconscious Kalego-sensei. The students all gasp when they saw the scene but one glance from the intimidating men shut them all up and they step away from the intimidating men. The intimidating men entered the infirmary where suzy-sensei and Blushenko-sensei was along with the misfit class. "Kalego-sensei!? Is he alright?!" the currently awake Abnormal class shouted at the intimidating men. "He's injured." The intimidating men said with cold detachment. "Who are you. Are you one of the rouge demons!" Sabnock yelled out. "No. My name is Naberius Narnia. I'm the director of the border patrol and also.. Kalego's older brother." Narnia introduce himself to the Abnormal class who just stared at him in shock. "No wonder you look so similar.." Lied said and the other nodded their heads. Narnia place his younger brother on the bed next to the misfit class. Blushenko use his bloodline ability but to everyone's suprise it only healed the minor injuries. "Just as i suspected... Whatever weapon that was use to stab Kalego had anti magic." Narnia said to himself. "Anti magic?" Iruma asked looking at Kalego-sensei with worry. Narnia glance at him before turning his gaze back his precious younger brother. "That means any magic towards the wound won't work. That includes healing magic" Narnia explained holding his unconscious younger brother's hand. The abnormal class look down with tears in their eyes. "We're sorry.." Some of the member of the Abnormal class said to narnia who looked at them in confusion. "Why are you all sorry?" Narnia asked his narrow a bit when an idea of they were the reason the rouge members were there. "If only we were stronger... Kalego-sensei wouldn't get this hurt because of us.." Purson spoke up for the entire class. Hearing that Narnia's heart ease a bit. A voice came from the door way. "it isn't all your fault. Don't blame yourself." The abnormal class look and it was Lord sullivan, Opera, Balam-sensei and Dali-sensei. "This fault is to the demon rouges who decided to attack you." Dali-sensei continued to say. Narnia nodded. "I agree with your teachers. This is the work of a plan attack. Seeing how the rouge demons mostly attacked my younger brother it's most likely that he was the primary target. The elders in my clan has already decided to wipe out this gang of rouges. No one gets away of hurting a Naberius. Especially Naberius Kalego." Narnia said with his fist clench so tightly the Abnormal class could feel the overwhelming aura from Narnia's anger.

Narnia had left to do his investigation but before he had left he asked he Abnormal class to look over Kalego for him. The abnormal class was doing that exact thing.. A bit too seriously. The entire Misfit class was huddle around Kalego's bed either reading, doing homework or asleep leaning against the bed or their friends. The teachers had decided to rotate shift to watch over the Misfit class and Kalego. Currently it was Balam-sensei and Murmur-sensei shift watching over. Murmur-sensei occasionally use his bloodline ability to check on how the students and his fellow colleague was feeling. It wasn't difficult to keep track since it was always either worry, tiredness or sadness that was shown to him. "Don't worry all of you. Kalego-sensei is strong and he won't go so easily. He is rank 8 after all." Murmur-sensei said trying to keep the Misfit class from getting too stress and accidentally have one of their evil cycle. The Abnormal class nodded and had a small smile on their face. "Of course he will.. After all he is the ruthless teacher of Babyls. There's no way he will let Babyls run wild" Jazz said smirking. "Yeah your right. We still need to find a way to prank him after this." Lied said still a bit frustrated their last prank didn't go as plan. "Yeah! Eggie-sensei will get back up!" clara yelled happily. Soon the entire class was planning their next prank to get Kalego-sensei. Balam-sensei and Murmur-sensei exchange glances and smiles at the pure chaos Murmur-sensei had started. Just then Opera-san came in with Snacks, tea and desserts. "You all must be hungry. Let's have a tea party while we are here." Opera-san said already pouring each of them tea. "Thanks Opera-san. This is a big help" Iruma said smiling at Opera. "It's my pleasure Master Iruma. Are you alright? You were quite shaken." Opera ask his Master with his ears down signalling he was quite upset at the memory. "Ah I'm sorry for worrying you. It's just.. I was really scared and confuse at first but when i realize what i felt was Kalego-sensei was feeling I was even more scared." Iruma said looking down at his tea. "Talking about it might help. What was Kalego-kun feeling iruma?" Balam-sensei asked wanting to know what his best friend felt at that exact moment. Iruma stayed quiet at first but then he started talking. "Kalego-sensei was feeling angry at first when we were attack but it soon felt overwhelming.. I could feel he couldn't breathe properly and his anxiety was getting more and more painful.. It was to the point that I was thinking it was mixed with mine but then I realize that the feeling was coming from the summoning sticker. Before i could Release the summoning Kalego-sensei summoned the barrier around us and Robin-sensei. After he did that i felt so weak.. As if he had use some of my energy along with his remaining mana to put the barrier around us. I could feel his lifeforce hurting itself when he uses Cerberobuth over and over again even after he had no mana left.. He was using his own remaining stamina and turning it into mana to protect us.." Iruma told everyone what Kalego-sensei was feeling. The Abnormal class looked sad but before any of the adult could say anything to comfort them Agares broke a cup by throwing it to the wall. "Kalego-sensei could have told me to make the ground into the barrier but he didn't. He's so stubborn and stupid." Agares said with anger that didn't quite reach his true meaning.

After a long talk mostly about pranking kalego and eating the dessert Opera had brought the Abnormal class fell asleep near Kalego's bed. "They really do love their teacher don't they?" Opera said to the open not like a question but as a statement. "They really do" Balam-sensei said taking a picture of the scene. "Balam-kun please make copies of that picture. I would like one as well." Opera said already thinking ways to tease Kalego-kun about this. "Of course Opera-senpai." Balam agreed already knowing where this was going but the picture was too adorable not to share with his senpai and co-workers. Opera gave a small smile before going back to his security demon face. Meanwhile in the chair demons office Lord sullivan, Narnia, Henri and the rest of the teaching staff were there. "I propose the misfit class stay at the teacher's dorm for the meantime. If i am correct and this attack primary target was kalego then those students are also in danger." Narnia said with his usual devoice of emotion expression. "We do have some spare rooms in the teachers dorm." Orias-sensei said but the thought of the misfit class staying in the teachers dorm and causing even more chaos annoyed him. "I agree with Director Narnia." Lord sullivan said with the final word. "Then should we also move Kalego to the teachers dorm?" Suzy-sensei asked. "Yes. I will need Mr. blushenko's power to make sure when i find a way to remove that anti magic spell he will be ready to immediately use his bloodline ability." Narnia said with absolute certainty. "By the tone of your voice and your wording are you saying that.. You will also be in the teachers dorm?" Marbas-sensei asked hesitately not wanting it to be true. "Correct. I would like to the first one if my brothers get into any problems regarding his health." Narnia said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I understand and I'll allow it." Lord sullivan said nodding his head to the arrangement. The teachers couldn't believe what they were hearing. The Abnormal class, Kalego-sensei and the infamous Director of the Border Patrol living in the same dorm as them for who knows how long. "With that being said I will take my leave. I need to check on Kalego's condition." Narnia said standing up and walking out of the room without another word. As soon as Narnia left Henri looks at the teachers. "...Good luck is all i have to say. Director Narnia is... really Really overprotective of Kalego so i just hope you all get out of this without a serious injury." Henri said making the teachers wanting to crawl out of their skins. "Oh great..." Dali-sensei said without his usual cheery smile.

The teachers were all shock by the first week of the Misfit class and the Naberius brothers living in their dorm. At first the misfit class was excited to be there setting up their temporary rooms and causing chaos meanwhile Kalego stayed unconscious and Narnia barely left Kalego's bedside or room in fact. By the third day the misfit class had settled down and was living in their room most of the time or studying with each other. Accasionally asking a few teachers help with the homeworks they didn't quite understand. At night the teachers would have a secret meeting. "I had no idea the misfit class could be this calm!" Ipos-sensei said surprise they were so calm. "Yeah at first they were loud and excited but after two days they went doing their own thing. Lied even asked me if i wanted to play some video games with him." Robin-sensei said "And Kalego-sensei older brother rarely comes out of his and kalego's room. And even when he comes out he either cooks, grabbed a few books or grabbed water." Marbas-sensei said not complaining because Narnia's cooking was really good. There was a knock at the door. "Who would be knocking at this hour.. At my robin's room as well.." ifrit-sensei mumbles. Robin opened the door to find Narnia standing there. The other teachers jumped back in shock. "S...Sir Narnia. What can we help you at this hour?" Dali-sensei manage to say with his usual smile on his face. "I need a cloth and a base of water. warm. Kalego is getting a fever from the side effect of anti-magic and so i need to keep his temperature down" Narnia said with his usual scary tone. "Ah you can borrow my handkerchief and for the water i can go get it from the kitchen!" Robin-sensei said handing Narnia a cute handkerchief as well as leaving the room to get the water. Narnia nodded and started making way back to his temporary room. "Ah sir Narnia?" Murmur called out. Narnia turn around to meet Murmur face to face. Murmur shallow his saliva before saying what he wanted to say. "Is Kalego-sensei going to be ok?" Murmur asked. Narnia narrow his eyes at him looking at him from head to toe. It made Murmur squirm in an uncomfortable feeling. "I'm close to breaking the spell so you don't need to worry. I won't ever let my Baby brother get be killed because of this." Narnia said walking away from the group of teachers. Robin walks past with the basin of water. "Eh? Where did Sir Narnia go?" Robin-sensei asked his fellow colleague. "He went back to his room" Ipos-sensei said pointing to the guest room.

"Father? Are you awake?" Ameri asked walking into her father's study. "I am. What are you doing awake Ameri?" Henri asked setting down the file in his hand. "I can't help but overhear the other day.. That Kalego-sensei and the misfit class was attacked. Are they all okay? Students have been coming up to me for the past few days asking why is the border patrol at Babyls. They are all scared and frankly.. I don't blame them" Ameri said looking at her father straight on wanting to see how he would react. Henri stayed silent for a moment. contemplating how to answer his daughter in a way that doesn't stress her out. In the end he sigh before explaining the situation briefly. "Is there anything I can help with. I can help you look over these documents for any clues you might have missed." Ameri said immediately wanting to help her father with the case. Henri wanted to refuse but since his daughter will be working with him after she graduates he decided to help. Henri patted the chair next to him and wanting for Ameri to take the chance to help him with the documentation. Ameri didn't waste any time and sat down next to her father.

Meanwhile in the teacher dorm, Narnia was in the kitchen drinking some tea while preparing some devil porridge when he notice the male misfit class students were watching him from the doorway. He look towards them and the misfit walked towards him. They all looked at each other wondering who was going to talk first. In the end they all looked at jazz to ask the question. Jazz sighed before stepping closer to Narnia. "So uh.. We were wondering.. How's Kalego-sensei?" Jazz asked Narnia while looking away from him due to Narnia's overwhelming intimidating aura. Narnia stayed quiet for a moment before answering. "He's still unconscious but has manage to eat some devil porridge and water when I feed him. He used a lot of his lifeforce and I am still working on finding a way to break the anti magic spell so Mr. Blushenko can heal his injuries." Narnia explained looking back at the porridge. Jazz looked back at his classmate who all nodded for him to continue asking. "Is there.. Anything we can help with?" Jazz reluctantly asked. Narnia thought over the question for a couple of minutes before nodding. "Yes, actually. I need you all to keep watch over Kalego tomorrow and the day after that. I'll be meeting Henri at Babyls. Can you all do that?" Narnia asked which the male misfit class members nodded. "You can count on us." Asmodeus said bowing in an elegant manner which Narnia simply nodded in agreement before going back to cooking the devil porridge.

Narnia gave a list of instruction for the misfit class when taking care of Kalego before leaving. "Let us help you all. After all we're the adults." Dali-sensei said stretching his hand out for the list which Iruma gladly hand over. The list was over three meters long. The teachers look over each of the instruction which had been very detail and made little to no room for error. "Woah.. Sir Narnia doesn't play around when it comes to his younger brother." Marbas-sensei said looknig at the long list in awe. "Kalego-kun and his older brother are very close." Balam-sensei said not suprise by how long the list is. "Let's check the first thing on the list." Iruma said taking the list and reading out the first instruction out loud. "First, Cook devil porridge using the recipe I have provided. Let the green hair teacher cook it. Then gently prop Kalego in a sitting manner. Feed him tiny spoon full of the Devil Porridge. Rub his back to make sure the food goes down properly. Have a bucket ready in case he throws it up. Give him warm water to drink every five to ten spoon full to make sure the food doesn't get stuck in his airways." They all look at Robin-sensei since Narnia had stated the 'green hair teacher' which was clearly Robin-sensei to cook the devil porridge. Robin-sensei look at the Recipe that was extremely detailed. "Cut the vegetable into ten small pieces that are exactly twenty five inches in size." Robin-sensei said reading the fifth line of the recipe out loud. "Wow.. He's that huh." Murmur-sensei said looking over Robin-sensei's shoulder to read the recipe.

After doing half of the list they all realize how to the minute detail Narnia had give them to do. "I can't believe he is this detailed." Lied said while folding the blanket Kalego-sensei had used last night in a perfect four fold technic Narnia had written down in the list before placing the morning blanket over Kalego-sensei. "Same here. Sir Narnia really does spoil Kalego-sensei doesn't he?" Asmodeus said looking over the list again. "Eggie-sensei hasn't woken up yet..." Clara said looking at Kalego-sensei with worry. "Don't worry Clara. I'm sure he will wake up soon." Elizabetta said comforting Clara. "He better. I don't want to see Sir Narnia mad." Kerori said terrified at the thought of Kalego-sensei being in a permanent sleep and the reaction of the terrifying director of the border patrol. "Agree.." Half the misfit class had said not wanting to see how Ruthless Narnia could be when it came to Kalego-sensei. "He even had the teacher do research and Kalego-sensei's paperwork in the other room." Agares said looking at number forty seven on the list. "Have you seen how long the number goes? I went to very bottom and looked at the number and apparently there's three hundred thirty three things on the list." Gaap said pointing at the very bottom of the list. "That's the director of the border patrol for you" Allocer said. "Hey at least he gave us these sick recipes. Look at this one. It's the recipe to make ice scream mochi." Sabnock said pointing at the stack of recipe Narnia had left behind in case Kalego woke up and wanted something else than Devil porridge. The misfit class spent the rest of the day doing the list by the minute and looking the recipe with Robin-sensei to try them for themself.

Around 2pm there was a knock at the door. Dali-sensei opened the door to reveal lord sullivan and Opera. "What a surprise. I'm guessing you two are cleared from the case?" Dali-sensei said stepping aside so the two could enter. Opera nodded for the two of them and their eyes went straight to the guest room. "Opera-san, Grandpa. Are you here to visit Kalego-sensei? He's still unconscious but i could show you where his room is" Iruma said greeting his demon grandfather and his trusty Security demon. "That would be great iruma. How are you holding up?" Lord sullivan ask concern for his grandson. "I'm fine. The teachers has been taking great care of us. This way to Kalego-sensei's room" Iruma said walking to Kalego-sensei temporary room. Inside Kalego figure lay in the bed with his chest steadily rising and falling. Opera ears went down seeing his usually strong and gloomy kouhai that weaken made him sad. Balam-sensei was there sitting next to Kalego's bed side reading a book before noticing his senpai. "Opera-senpai. Lord sullivan. I'm afraid there's no changes to Kalego-kun's situation. There have been signs of him waking up but he ultimately didn't.." Balam-sensei said worried about his best friend being in this situation. Opera nodded not saying anything. Lord sullivan glance at his security demon knowing that Opera was feeling worried for his Kouhai. "I'll go check on things with dali-sensei. You two stay here" Lord sullivan said before walking out of the room. He knew that Opera and Balam needed time alone with Kalego. Opera took a seat next to Balam-kun. "I haven't seen him this weaken ever since I punched him in the gut the first time we met." Opera said which made Balam chuckle at the memory. "When Kalego-kun woke up he was furious" Balam-kun said reminishing the memory.

The two talk about the past for a while before a knock at the door broke their conversation. The door opened to reveal Narnia. "You're back." Balam-sensei said in surprise. "Henri is still trying to get the clues piece together so I thought to come back early." Narnia said taking a seat across from the two but right next to Kalego's beside. "I assume my list was done perfectly?" Narnia said more than asked. Balam nodded. It wasn't like Narnia had left any room for mistakes but balam kept that to himself. The three started talking about the situation and what Narnia currently knows about the demons behind the attack. Before Narnia could get into detail a groan from the bed caught their attention. Kalego was awake. Narnia was the first one to rush towards Kalego. "How are you feeling Kalego?" Narnia asked with the rare tone of worry he reserve for his younger brother. "Br...Brother? What..happened.. Everything.. Hurts.." Kalego manage to say despite the pain blaring from his body. "You and your class was attacked. You sacrifice yourself to protect your class. And you also beat the life out of 250 rouge demons." Narnia said with a hint of proudness. Kalego nodded even though he couldn't process what his brother just said to him. He looked around weakly when he notice Balam and Opera. Opera gently helped Kalego to drink water and eat painkillers. Kalego would usually argue he could do it himself but this time he lets Opera-senpai do it for him which made Opera sligtly happy but at the same time very worried about how Kalego was feeling.

The news that Kalego spread through out the dorm was faster than a wild fire in a forest. Unfortunately Narnia didn't give the misfit class and other teachers besides for Balam, Lord sullivan and Opera to be near Kalego at the moment. With that the misfit class made letters and asked Balam and Opera to give them to Kalego-sensei. Kalego-sensei didn't read any of them for the first few days he was awake since the routine for those days were eat, sleep and check ups. On the fifth day he read three before falling asleep. Narnia kept the note tidy but of course he read them first just in case there were cruel massages in them. He was relieve when there weren't any cruel massages but he didn't show it. He made sure to focus on finding a way to break the anti magic spell that still on kalego. Balam offered to help and Narnia took it after Balam showed he was more than professional enough to handle something like that. Although Narnia kept a close eye on him. Balam didn't care because he knew that Narnia was doing it for Kalego-kun. Time past very slowly for Kalego-sensei but Opera didn't make it boring for him. Opera would read either the misfit class letters, a novel or something he finds on his devi phone.

Narnia sat in the room alone with Kalego as the other teachers and misfit student had to go to school/work. "Bro..brother?" Kalego called out. Narnia turns his head towards his younger brother. "What's wrong Kalego?" Narnia asked in concern. "Everything.. hurts.. so much.. I... I... Please make it stop..." Kalego begged his older brother. Narnia looked surprise. Even as children both of them was taught to never show weak emotions such as crying or begging but right now Kalego was doing both. Narnia quickly hugged kalego.

"Shh... Shh... It'll past.. It's just the painkillers wearing off.. You'll be fine Kalego.. Im here." Narnia said soothing his younger brother who is crying his eyes out in pain. "This will hurt a bit.." Narnia warn Kalego but he was sure Kalego was already too distraught to realize what he was talking about. Narnia administer the painkiller via medical syringe. Using the proper dose Balam had told him. He wasn't sure if he had remembered the gargoyle name right but that was the least of his concern. Soon after the painkillers was administered Kalego began calming down but Narnia didn't let go of him. He can't lie. Seeing Kalego like that made him really worried.

Kalego look up at his brother like how he used to as a child. He hugs Narnia tighter. Afraid if he let go he would wake up from whatever dream he was having. Narnia wasn't suprise Kalego was holding on this tightly. It's not everyday that you get jumped with 200+ rouge demons and survive to tell the tale. "I'm not going anywhere.. I'm not a dream.. I'm here Kalego. For you anything." Narnia said rubbing Kalego's head in a soothing manner. Kalego didn't say anything but he hugged Narnia tighter but not to the degree of desperate.

Narnia continued to research on how to remove this specific anti magic spell. It was a complex spell. Like a sweater that was knitted with glue. As Narnia was researching He couldn't help but notice Kalego's tail was out. He had forgotten every Member of the Naberius clan had one flaw. no matter if the demon was married into the family or born into it they will all grow a very sensitive and fluffy. No one knows about it beside a trusted spouse or the other clan members. It was the only weakness on their body. Anything hurting it would feel like a thousand knife being hurled into the nervous system a bunch of time. They all hide it unless they were physically too weak to do so.

Narnia gently fed Kalego the Devil porridge he had made with meat toppings. At first Kalego wouldn't eat but after a few words (Kind!) words from Narnia Kalego began eating without a fuss just as they were children again. Narnia couldn't help but reminiscing the past. Kalego would follow him constantly asking for help with his study or just want to show himself as useful to his older brother. Not that Narnia mind because Kalego was an extremely obedient as child and was quite useful. Not that Narnia let Kalego do anything dangerous

Hours past with ease for Narnia. Unfortunately for Kalego it wasn't as ease. He had constant nightmares as well as the painkillers losing the effectiveness. Narnia search even harder after watching the entire thing unfold. It didn't help that the green haired teacher wasn't there to cook them any taste veggies. Kalego breathe heavily in his bed. Occasionally mumbles please and it hurts in his sleep. Narnia wears ear plug not because he was annoyed at Kalego or anything. He wore it because his heart couldn't take his beloved younger brother in that much pain. He wish he could take the pain away from Kalego but he knew only wishing was a waste of time.

"Kalego... I'm going to try something and it's going to hurt a lot but trust me on this alright?" Narnia said gently comforting his younger brother before doing the experiment. Narnia knew this would hurt as hell but there isn't other way. "Alright.. Take a deep breath. 1...2...3!" Narnia counted down before casting a high level spell on Kalego. Kalego screamed in pain before going limp. Narnia panted but smiled. It had worked. The Anti magic spell was gone. Narnia pick up the Number the teachers had left for Narnia to contact the healing teacher if he had found a way to break the anti magic spell.

"Come over here quick Mr...." "Blushenko, Sir Narnia." "Mr. Blushenko. Get over here. The spell is broken and I want Kalego's wounds healed Immediately." Narnia demanded before hanging up the phone. Narnia holds Kalego hand who was panting heavily with tears running down his face. Not even 20 minutes a knock was at the door. "Come in." Narnia said already knowing who it was. Blushenko-sensei and Dali-sensei came in. "You broke the anti magic spell?" Dali-sensei asked in suprise. "No." Narnia said in sarcastic but in the tone of voice that made everyone wonder if he was being sarcastic. Blushenko-sensei didn't waste any time and immediately use his Family bloodline ability.

The wounds healed instantly and before soon Kalego open his eyes clearly. Not one that was half open or one filled with tears. Fully and clear open eyes. "Welcome back to the land of the living Kalego-sensei. Everyone has been worried for you." Dali-sensei said with his usual smirk. "Ugh.. My entire body still hurts.." Kalego said sitting up with the help of his older brother. "That's normal. Just wait it out for an hour or two." Blushenko-sensei said knowing his bloodline abilities only heal not take away the pain.

"Can you both leave now?" Narnia demanded than asked. The two walked out without a word. Knowing that Narnia wanted some time with his baby brother but they mostly left out of pure fear of Narnia's power and authority. "I'm glad your back to your old Kalego. I was begining to be worried." Narnia said hugging Kalego. At first Kalego didn't do anything due to his body just being healed but soon he hugged Narnia back. "Do not worry. I won't let anyone get away with this. I'll use every torture method known to demon kind." Narnia said already thinking of ways of making the culprit scream. Kalego's spine ran with a cold chill. "I feel pity for whoever is getting your anger." Kalego said looking at his brother.

Kalego had improve in his physical health over the past of two days due to Narnia's insisted for Blushenko to continue healing Kalego every few hours. Unfortunately his mind was still processing the trauma he went throught. Being in his familiar form not being able to properly protect himself and his students was a big blow on his mental and ego as Babyls guard dog. Narnia notice his younger brother's mental isolation and decided to help him get over it even if the solution was for the Babyls teachers, Opera and the misfit class to be around Kalego 24/7 which he didn't like as much.

Narnia walked to Lord sullivan office in the middle of the school day making the students gossip and whisper in the hallway. Some even running away as soon as they saw him. Narnia had no time to focus on them. The only thing that was in his mind was Kalego. He knocked on the door. "Lord sullivan? I need to talk to you regarding Kalego." Narnia spoke up. The door open revealing Opera who stepped aside to let Narnia in.

Lord sullivan sat in his chair with a serious expression. "Sir Narnia I cannot let you take Kalego-" Narnia cut into sullivan's speech before he could finish. "I want to request the teachers at Babyls, Opera and the misfit class stay in the same room as Kalego for a couple hours and may even stay the night in the same room as him. The reason is because I think the company might help him process the situation better." Narnia said fast due to his own uncomfortable in saying so. Lord Sullivan look at him with a shock expression. Same goes to Opera with his eyes a bit more wide than it was originally.

"Are you alright with that arrange? You haven't exactly been liking Kalego-sensei's colleague and his students." Lord sullivan said worried for his teaching staff and the misfit class. "I am uncomfortable but if it helps Kalego I don't mind." Narnia said. "I'll agree to it." The two turn to Opera who nodded in agreement and voiced it. "And I'm sure the others will as well. We'll make sure to be less annoying than we usually do to help accommodate you Sir Narnia." Opera said hoping it would help easy Narnia's Uncomfortability with the situation. Narnia thought it over and nodded in agreement

"I'll be going back to Kalego now. He should be sleep asleep but I would like for him not to panic because his mental is currently unstable but not to the degree of insanity." Narnia said leaving Opera and sullivan in the chair-demon office. "Would you like me to inform the misfit class while you tell the teaching staff Sullivan-sama?" Opera asked knowing Sullivan would say yes either way. "If you wouldn't mind Opera. I have a feeling the teaching staff would have many questions about this situation." Sullivan said staring out of the window. Opera nodded and left the room making way to the royal one.

"And that is why you all will continue staying at the teachers dorm for the meanwhile. Please take note on your voice volume while you are there. Kalego-kun is still recovering and we need you all to be mindful of his condition after using that much mana and life force. He will be out of it and may still have a few side effect including sudden excruciating pain." Opera said to the misfit class who looked worried for their homeroom teacher. "Don't worry Opera-san. We will do our best to not bother Kalego-sensei. right guys" Iruma said looking at his classmate who all nodded. "Don't worry Opera-san. We will make sure Kalego-sensei get the upmost rest." Asmodeus said bowing slightly. "Yeah. Even if we wanted to cause chaos I don't think that Narnia fellow would let us." Jazz said making the other shiver from the sheer intimidating aura Narnia let off.

"I agree.." Kerori said adjusting her glasses. "He is quite scary isn't he?" Elizabetta said remembering how scared she left just by passing him the hallway a few days ago. Camui didn't say anything because of the only second Narnia glance at him he felt his entire soul leaving his body. "Me and purson can just play game with Orias-sensei or Robin-sensei." Lied said not wanting to be in the same room with the scary Narnia. "Unfortunately he has requested you all including the Babyls teaching staff to spend the minimum of 2 hours with Kalego-kun with him in the same room." Opera said making the entire misfit class shiver with terror being in the same room as the director of the border patrol.

Meanwhile in Lord sullivan office, Sullivan explain the situation to the Babyls teaching staff. Some was excited they get to have more time with Kalego (mostly Balam, Momonoki and Robin) while the other teachers had their own concern. Mostly about Narnia being there which they expect but didn't make it less uncomfortable. "So Sir Narnia has requested for us to spend the minimum of 2 hours with Kalego or just be in the same room as him and Narnia?" Dali asked with a hand over his chin. "Correct. He thinks that if Kalego sees his colleague and students is alright and he did everything he could then his mental would go back to being normal." Sullivan said. "That's a great idea! I don't mind spending a few hours with Kalego-sensei!" Robin said already thinking of things he could talk to Kalego about.

"He also requested for you all to mind your voice when visiting Kalego." Lord sullivan said contradicting Robin loud and cheerful voice. "Ah understood." Robin said in a quiet manner. "Hm.. How about we all make something for Kalego-sensei? Like a full on report on what have the students and event happening so he feels right at home?" Dali suggested which made Balam eyes sparkle because he has been inching to make Kalego a book about the events and pranks the students had been pulling on each other. "Great idea. Me and Momonoki-sensei can make him the bitter chocolate he said he liked!" Robin said with full enthusiasm. The teachers started talking about things they can make before their visit. Lord Sullivan sat there without a word smilling at his staff.

Kalego was staring out the window but snapped out of it when three knocks took his attention to the door. Narnia stood up from his seat near Kalego's bed and walked to the door opening it. Kalego went back to starring out the window when he saw it was his colleagues and his senpai. "Hey Kalego-kun. How are you?" Balam asked but Kalego didn't answer. He continued staring out the window not saying a word.

Narnia sighed before turning towards the Babyls teachers. "Now do you get why I was concern? He has complete shut himself in his own mind." Narnia said with a tone of worry. "We didn't realize it was this bad.." Dali said looking worried for Kalego. Opera stepped forward and sit near Kalego on the bed. Opera simply watch Kalego for a while. Kalego glance at him and saw Opera bored expression.

"Are you done sulking to yourself?" Opera said bored. "..." Kalego didn't answer and he went back to staring out the window. Opera exchange glances with Balam and the two nodded. "Alright. Sulking time is over." Opera said grabbing Kalego in a bridal carry and walked out of the room into the living room. The other teachers and Narnia looked confuse at what just happened so they turn to balam.

"Ah Back when me, Kalego-kun and Opera-senpai was in Babyls we always play a movie whenever one of us is sad or traumatize." Balam explained. Narnia nodded as approval. "I remember Kalego calling me telling that he was having movie nights to release stress" Narnia said. Balam nodded at Narnia before turning to Robin and Dali. "Robin-sensei can you go to the kitchen and make us all some devi-popcorn? Dali-sensei could you go grab us some devil soda?" Balam asked the two which they both nodded.

Robin went to the kitchen to immediately start cooking the devi popcorn. The rest joined Opera and Kalego in the living room. Kalego and Opera was wrapped in a weighted blanket. Kalego was sitting on the couch with a blank expression clearly not any better yet while Opera sat on the floor looking for the perfect movie to watch. "Can any of you handle horror?" Opera asked already knowing that Kalego's cerberus can't handle horror. "Cerberus can't handle horror" "Kalego's Cerberus can't handle horror" Kalego and Narnia said in unison.

Opera smirked knowing he manage to get Kalego to at least speak. Narnia realize what Opera was doing and was slightly impress. "POPCORN IS READY!" Robin yelled while holding fresh popcorn. He gave each of them their own bowl. Opera opened a musical knowing Kalego would appreciate the music due to his current situation. Narnia sat down next to Kalego on the couch. Balam took a sit next to Kalego as well but on the right side.

The movie begin to play as well as Kalego's attention span went directly to the Movie and the music. Narnia notice how focus Kalego was on the movie and was beginning to look better. Half way through the movie Kalego's popcorn had finish which Narnia, Balam and Opera had notice. The three of them immediately poured their own popcorn from their own bowl into Kalego's making sure it's filled to the brim before stopping

Kalego didn't say anything but a small smile did manage to escape his lips before he continue to eat his popcorn and watching the musical. Kalego had his own personalize Soda in his own devi-awesome teacher cup he had gotten from Narnia. As the movie was ending the doorbell rang catching Kalego's attention span again making his face go back to a blank expression

Dali opened the door to reveal the misfit class. "Eggie-sensei!!" Clara shouted when she saw Kalego. Kalego didn't say anything but his expression shows he recognize them. He nodded before turning back to the movie. The misfit class was shocked at how different Kalego-sensei was. "Woah.. Sir Narnia wasn't kidding when he said Kalego-sensei mental was being isolated." Lied said in shock.

A few minutes later they were all sitting on the floor, having an indoor picnic. A lot of delicious desert and food was set in front of them. Kalego didn't move to grab the food like the others did. Narnia grabbed a plate of bittersweet chocolate that he knew Kalego liked, Balam look two piece of the devil sandwich while Opera grabbed a slice of cake. All three put the plate they took for Kalego in front of him at the same time.

Kalego looks at the three plates before putting a piece of chocolate on his mouth followed by a bite of devil sandwich and lastly cut of a little piece of cake. He hummed liking all three of the food. Narnia nodded while sipping his tea with grace and elegance. "Sir Narnia looks like royalty when he eats and drinks." Asmodeus said as an observation.

"Me and Kalego was train in every demon etiquette as possible as well as every subject and language." Narnia said remembering their training. "Oh my. No wonder Kalego-sensei always had an aura of nobility. You two are really rich aren't you?" Elizabetta said with a soft smile. Narnia wasn't move with her smile and instead answered her question with the most deadpanned tone. "The Naberius name is highly ranked within the netherworld."

The misfit all stayed until the evening before going back to their respective homes. As soon as the misfit class left Kalego went back to his room to rest. Although Narnia could see the chances in Kalego's mentality. Narnia turn back towards the Babyls teachers. "Today's outcome has reach my satisfaction. We will do the same tomorrow with different activities." Narnia said as he left to go to Kalego's room.

The Babyls teachers and Opera looked at each other with a smile. "It almost worked." Dali said. "We just need a few more push and Kalego-sensei will go back to his old grumpy self!" Robin said with a smile. "alright everyone let's rest. Tomorrow we have things to do." Dali said taking charge of the situation. They all went to their own room as soon as they all said their goodbyes and goodnights.

"I have found the clan who attacked my brother as well as the misfit class." Narnia said towards the room filled with the teachers of Babyls as well as Lord sullivan and Opera. "Hey. Don't forget they attacked me as well!" Robin said in a pouting tone. Narnia merely glance at him before saying "yes you too sir Robin." Narnia's expression darken. "The reason I ask you all here is because my clan has decided to burn that clan to the ground in a war. In the meanwhile I need you all to watch over Kalego." Narnia said

"A war? Are you sure that's what Kalego-kun needs right now?" Balam asked worried the stress from hearing there is a war would distrupt Kalego's healing process. "No. That is why I need you all to keep this a secret from the students and Kalego. Especially Kalego." Narnia said with a sharp tone. The teachers broke into a cold sweat due to Narnia's tone. It was obvious he wasn't asking. He was demanding their cooperation.

"U..Understood" Dali manage to say hoping that Narnia wouldn't feed off his fear. "Good... I wouldn't want to force you all to keep your mouth silent now do I." Narnia said playing with his sharp dagger. The energy in the room immediately shifted into a tense atmosphere. They knew Narnia wasn't one to make fake threats especially since Narnia was the director of the border patrol. They knew Narnia wasn't someone they can just defy without protection

"D.. Don't worry sir Narnia. We wouldn't dare to defy this order." Blushenko said which Robin immediately nodded. "Good. I'll be going now." Narnia said standing from his seat before walking out of the room. As soon as Narnia left the room all the teachers release a sigh or a breath of relief. "That.. That was scary. Even thought it's been a few weeks since he has been here but he's still so scary!" Marbas said trying to calm his racing heart.

"Your telling me..." Dali said letting out a sigh of relief now that Narnia wasn't in the room. "All we need to do is to make sure Kalego-sensei and the students don't know there is an all out war between two clans.. Great.. Just great.." Ifrit Djinn Eito said with obvious sarcasm in his voice. "Do not worry too much. Most of the students don't even know the Naberius clan. The demons we should worry about are the misfit class and Kalego-kun." Opera said

The teachers sigh in exhaustion. "Do you realize how hard that is? The misfit class would realize something is amiss. And Kalego-sensei is one of our most diligent teachers at Babyls. There's no way we can hide something like this from them." Raim said. "You forgot that currently the misfit class is preoccupied with helping Kalego getting better. We just need to act acordingly" Opera said remembering the current situation they are facing.

"Alright.. Let's put this aside and focus on helping Kalego-kun get better" Balam said. Opera and Lord sullivan nodded. "Balam-sensei is correct. We need to shift our focus towards helping Kalego recovery in a fast manner. Babyls without it's guard dog would be very bad. Wouldn't you all agree?" Lord sullivan asked which they all nodded once they thought it over. "Alright! That's all for today's meeting. I'm off to a meeting with the 13 crowns! Goodluck everyone!" Lord sullivan said as he left the meeting room.

~A few hours later~

In the outskirts of the netherworld a singular demon from the Naberius clan was fighting the entire takenda clan with the bloodlust of a demon who has gone insane.

"Wha.. What are you!" Asked one of the injured and scared member of the takenda clan. Narnia looked at him. Soaked in blood of his enemies and eyes cold without a single remorse or regret. "I am someone who is angry for their little brother." Was the last thing that injured member of the takenda clan heard before getting slashed to death.

Narnia looked towards the endless field of dead bodies before walking towards the clan's base of operations.

"Sir! Our forces has been wiped out completely!" the young secretary of the takenda clan reported to president of the clan. "WHAT!? HOW MANY MEN DID THE NABERIUS MEN BRING!? WE HAD OVER A THOUSAND MEN!" The president shouted out of surprise. He couldn't believe all his men was wiped out in matter of 2 hours. "Only one Sir!" The young secretary responded.

"One?!" The president gasp in shock. He knew that the Naberius clan was powerful but he wasn't expecting them to be this overpowered. Before the president could give out an order the room door was burst opened by a dead body being hurled by an unknown force. "HE'S HERE!" One of the men shouted before charging in to attacked the demon. Narnia simply use his cerberius to kill the men without a second thought.

The president fell to his knees. In the matter of seconds all his men was killed right in front of him by a singular demon. "W..WE SURRENDER! PLEASE! SPARE THE REMAINING DEMONS- ACK!" The president couldn't finish his sentence has Narnia grabbed him by his neck lifting him off the ground into the air were his feet barely touch the ground.

"You want me to give you mercy? After you targeted my brother who was teaching his class? I'll drag you to the ends of the abyss if i could but no matter.. You will be spared.. But the other's shall die. Including your wife and children." Narnia said as he brutally ripped the president's wife from limb to limb in front of her children. "No please!" The president begged regretting all his decision before this war.

"This war will be a reminder to all demon clans. No one shall touch the Naberius clan if they do not wish to suffer by our hands." Narnia said as a declaration before waving the children to run away. The children quickly left the place with trembling bodies. The president looked at the pieces of his once beautiful wife. Her eyes wide in horror with an accusation look. As if she was angry at him for even daring to utter the Naberius clan name.

"You are lucky I do not have time to torture you. If I had any spared time you wouldn't have gotten away this easily. Trust me." Narnia said before turning away and walking out the door. Countless dead bodies lie within the corridors. Male, female, young and old. No one was spared. Narnia only had one goal in mind. Report back to the elders and go back to his precious younger brother. With that he soared into the sky with high speed. leaving a trail of blood in the sky.

"Alright Let's do this. Let the competition start!" Robin announce to the living room that was filled with the teachers of Babyls and misfit class.

~A few hours earlier~

The teachers were all in the faculty room thinking of ways to distract everyone when Asmodeus, Iruma and clara walked into the room. "Ah well is it isn't the trio of the misfit class. What can we do for you three." Dali said with his usual smile on his face. Iruma took the lied as always. "Well Dali-sensei.. We all have been talking. Me and the rest of the misfit class wanted to do a few competitions to lift Kalego-sensei's spirit." Iruma said with a determine look

"Competitions eh? It just so happens that the rest of us were thinking of ways to cheer up Kalego-sensei as well. So what did you have in mind." Dali said knowing his colleagues were listening and getting closer. "Well first we thought of a baking competition then singing, board games and a few others. Since there will be a lot of demons and demoness we thought it would be better if the competitions were in pairs of three." Iruma explained.

"That's a brilliant idea Iruma." Balam said giving iruma a thumbs up. "Yeah I can see it. Kalego-sensei does have a fierce competition spirit." Blushenko said with a hand on his chin. "Yis! That's a great idea, Yis!" Suzy said with a smile. "Alright then it's settled. Iruma, Inform the misfit class to come over after school today." Dali said. Iruma nodded before leaving to tell his classmate. The two followed iruma praising him endlessly as usual.

~Back to the present~

Kalego looked blankly at his team. It wasn't a surprise that he was paired with his senpai and his ally since his days at Babyls. The teams were assigned base of compatibility with each other. Iruma of course got asmodeus and clara, lied got jazz and purson, sabnock got gaap and agares and finally Kerori got Ix and caim. Meanwhile for the teachers, Dali got Orias and Robin, Shiida got momonoki and Blushenko, Ipos got murmur and Marbas, Raim got furcas and suzy. Finally Ifrit was their judge and referee.

"Alright let's start with the baking competition first! Your challenge is to make the devil fruit pie!" Ifrit said starting the clock. Kalego and opera immediately got to work on the crust and filling while balam made sure the oven was preheated. The other team wasn't so organise as Kalego's team. Iruma and clara was constantly making asmodeus question their cooking skills. Lied's team surprisingly didn't have a problem at all when following the recipe. Some teams were good while others are complete chaos

Half way through a fire broke out over where Ipos team was. Kalego was quick to react already extinguist the flames before it reach any of the misfit class. As soon as he made sure the fire was gone he gave a glare to Murmur who was the one who set the fire in the first place before going back to his team and cutting up the fruits for the filling.

At the end most of them were covered in flour besides for Kalego's team which somehow looked cleaner than before. "Alright. Time for the taste test and for the judge is none other than Kalego-sensei!" Dali said with a smirk. Kalego looked at the probably edible pie Iruma's team made before shaking his head and pointing to Murmur. "He should be the judge for causing the fire." Kalego said with a deadpan tone but a small smirk threaten to show itself.

They all besides for Kalego, Opera and Balam turn and smirks at Murmur who looked terrified. "Eat up!" Ipos said shoving a spoonful of iruma's team pie into Murmur's mouth. It taste so bad Murmur didn't even need to chew before throwing up and rinsing his mouth in the sink. After Murmur taste every single pie he had pointed to Kalego's team pie and Sabnock team pie as the first and second winner.

Onto the next activity it was the singing competition. They were all shy to sing at first but they all were shocked when the mic was handed to Kalego on the most difficult song a demon could sing and Kalego singed it perfectly without a single expression on his face. He also didn't blink which somehow made it even more impressive. "I never knew you could sing Kalego-kun." Balam said in happy surprise.

"You never asked." Kalego answered without looking at him. It seems the competition wasn't lifting his spirits just yet. Next up was Iruma's team turn and to their surprise clara choose herself to sing. What's even more of a shock was she sang beautifully as well. "That was amazing clarin!" Lied said clapping. "I never knew you could sing so beautifully." Elizabetta said surprise

"Not bad." Was all Kalego needed to say before the entire room attention went to him. "Di.. Did you just.. Compliment someone?!" Orias stuttered to get his words out of pure shock. "It was well deserving." Kalego said taking a sip of tea Opera had made him. "My my Kalego-kun. It seems all we needed to do was sing to get a compliment out of you." Opera said teasingly. "Don't be stupid. I'll only praise if it's deserving." Kalego said with a glare.

Opera smiled knowing the Kalego he knew was coming back slowly but surely. Momonoki was still blushing from the time Kalego sang. Kalego wanted to ask momonoki if she was alright but his attention was quickly turn elsewhere when dali choose to sing after iruma's team. After all the teams sang they all voted. Of course they all voted for their favourite but their attention was focus on what Kalego voted for

"You voted for clarin Kalego-sensei!" Lied said in shock. "Yes I did." Kalego said. "Those this count for him almost being back to normal or are we just in a different dimension now." Murmur said not believing his eyes. "Neither I think." Marbas said with an awkward smile. "Alright alright. Let me count the vote before we continue to the next game." Ifrit said counting the votes one by one. In the end it was a tie between Kalego and Clara

"I don't mind giving this win to valac" Kalego said. "That won't work because you had voted for clara and clara had voted by you so rock paper scissors to see who gets the win" Ifrit said. Kalego looked annoyed but complied anyway. The two rock paper scissors and clara won. "Alright. So for the singing competition clara won. Onto the next competition!" Ifrit said

~After an entire day of competitions and games~

Kalego looked exhausted but he was enjoying himself. The door bell rang catching all of their attention. Balam opened the door to find a very mess up looking Narnia with boxes of take away from a very expensive restaurant. "My apologies for looking like a mess. I was flying at a very alarming speed." Narnia explained himself while using his free hand to fix his hair.

"Anyway I bought us all dinner. I hope you all haven't eaten anything." Narnia said. "We were just about to order online but you saved us the trouble. Let me take those and I'll set them up on the table." Robin said taking the multiple boxes from Narnia's hand and carrying them to the kitchen. Narnia nodded his eyes immediately went to Kalego.

"Are you alright now?" Narnia asked. "I'm exhausted from all the competitions." Kalego answered. Narnia raised an eyebrow. "Competitions?" Narnia asked looking around at the mess. "We had a bunch of competitions and Kalego won almost all of them. He really likes to win. Yis" Suzy said. Narnia nodded. "Well of course. We naberius take pride of our winnings" Narnia said.

"You all can tell me what competitions you all did later. I think the green haired teacher has already finish unpacking all the food I bought." Narnia said pointing to the now filled tables of delicious food in the dining room. "I'm starving!" Lied said already walking to the dining room. "Yeah same. Competing against Kalego-sensei is a hard challenge" Jazz said.

"Ooh there's even pastries!" Clara said looking over at the deserts. Kalego followed behind his students. "Thank you." was heard in the air. They all including the teachers turn towards Kalego but Kalego continued walking like he didn't say anything. Narnia looked surprise but a small smile form on his lips after a few seconds. Narnia turn towards the Babyls teachers and nodded in approval before walking towards the dining room

"Mission half way success." Blushenko said quietly. "We won't give up." Orias said with a smile. "Not until we get to see our resident grumpy guard dog back to normal~" Raim said with a wink. "That's right, Yis!" Suzy said. They all nodded to each other before turning towards the dining room and walking in unison.

Chapter Text

"This isn't working." Orias said tiredly. They have been exhausting themselves trying to help Kalego to recover but everytime they did they only got half way before he go back into his blank face going back into his mind. "I hate to say it but.. I don't think this is something we can fix. I'll be calling an expert on trauma and hopefully she gets to help Kalego." Narnia said with a grave expression.

"And.. What if the expert says.." Robin couldn't finish his own sentence. He didn't need too. Everyone knew what he was implying and they didn't want to admit it but with how their efforts always seems to go to waste it looks like Kalego was heading in that dark direction. "I would rather not think of the what ifs." Narnia said. Narnia hesitate for a moment before continuing.

"If. And I mean IF Kalego doesn't recover.. He will be relief of his duty as Babyls guard dog. Either me or the previous guard dog will take over as the new guard dog of Babyls." Narnia said. The teachers immediately felt shivers from their spines. They knew Narnia was someone who would definitely arrest the students for their misconduct.

"Let's hope for the best..." Dali said with a quiet tone definitely preferred Kalego as their guard dog. "I shall contact the expert right now. Please excuse me." Narnia said as he stood up and walked out of the room. "I really hope Kalego-kun recover." Balam said. "He will." Opera said but his ears were down like he didn't believe his own words.

They all look towards Kalego's temporary room where the door was open and Kalego was visible starring out the window blankly. Kalego had made it a routine to stare out the window for hours unless someone was talking to him but even then he would stare at them without a word. Not even glaring at Robin when he talked nonsense or was being too loud.

That scared robin more than ever because he was used to Kalego screaming at him to be silent. Robin stopped getting closer to Kalego after that incident and cried to Opera saying that Kalego looked so sad and was just an empty shell. Opera had listen to Robin cry the entire night. Robin was of course the most green out of all the teachers at Babyls but if something like this scared Robin it wasn't good.

~Hours later~

A professional looking woman came inside the dorm after Narnia. "Hello. I'm Dr. Nicole. Where is the patient." Nicole said getting straight to the point. "Follow me." Shiida said guiding Nicole to Kalego's temporary room. Nicole step inside immediately seeing Kalego staring out the window with a blank expression on his face. "Hello Naberius Kalego. I'm Dr. Nicole." She introduce herself.

Kalego didn't react to her. Nicole step closer inspecting Kalego. "May I touch your head? My bloodline ability allows me to see if there is a problem with someone's mental." Nicole explain. Kalego glance at her before nodding and going back to stare out the window. Nicole place her hands on both side of Kalego's head before closing her eyes then activating her bloodline ability.

After a while she took back her hand without opening her eyes and walked out the room to the living room where the others were. They all stood up besides Narnia who was already standing. "How is he." Narnia said with the intensity showing his authority as the director of the border patrol. "It's more complicated then i thought but it's treatable. I will come back around 8 pm. I assume that's when he sleeps?" Nicole asked.

"Yes. I made a schedule for him like when he was younger. I couldn't trust he would take care for himself in his current state." Narnia said. Nicole nodded. "That was a wise action." Nicole said. She was about to leave when Robin approach her. "Is there anything we can do to prepare for whatever you're going to do to help our ally?" Robin said with determination.

Nicole thought for a moment before nodding. "I need a couple leaves from the sleepy time tree, three drops of abyss monsters blood from the nearby mountains and a ball of everlasting light from the stardust tree. Those are the items that would secure this treatment would work 100% without them there's only a 50% chance that this treatment would work." Nicole said.

"I can get the drops of blood." Opera said. "I'll help you." Robin volunteered. "Me and suzy-sensei can get the leaves from the sleepy time tree." Balam said knowing that he and Suzy was the best demons to do this job. "Orias-sensei, Murmur-sensei, Momonoki-sensei and Marbas-sensei can go get the everlasting light. They are the best demons to do those hard tasks." Dali said. He took a breath before he continued. "Me, Sir Narnia, and the remaining teachers will stay here taking turns to watch over Kalego." Dali finally finish speaking.

Nicole nodded before leaving. They had only 10 hours and less to get all the ingredient. As soon as they packed all the things they needed they all jump between trees and run (for opera) and flew in the air as fast as they could do get the ingredients as fast they possible. They all knew these ingredients wasn't any ordinary ingredients and the challenges they had to face will be extremely hard but it would be worth it to get back their beloved grumpy guard dog.

Narnia looked out of the window looking at the scattered teachers. "Are you sure they will be able to get those ingredients?" Narnia asked the air. A quiet murmur was heard and Narnia turned around to face his younger brother. For a moment the old Kalego looked like he was back. He looked up at Narnia for the first time all week. "They're stupidly determine.. Which makes them unable to fail.. They are stubborn but... Who isn't.. Right... Big brother?..." Kalego said quietly before going back staring blankly at the wall

Narnia smile for a slip second before turning back to the window. "What fine allies you have here Kalego... They'll protect you when the time has come for me to... ascend to become one of the 13 crowns." Narnia said quietly making sure Kalego doesn't hear him. Narnia stare up at the clouds going into the deepest parts of his thoughts.

Meanwhile Shiida was talking to Opera and Robin outside. "Are you sure you do not want me to come with you." Shiida asked in concern. "Do not fret. Me and Opera-sensei aren't easy to beat." Robin said with a smile but his hand were shaking. Shiida notice and remember that she had something that could help ease Robin's nerves.

"Here. Orias-sensei once gave me this charm saying he had put some good luck in it because he notice I was nervous a few days ago. I think you need this more than me." Shiida said putting the charm into Robin's hand. Robin looked at the charm. It was cute. Robin nods at Shiida with new found determination. "Thanks Shiida-sensei. I won't lose it." Robin said before departing with Opera at high speed.

Shiida watched as all her colleagues go out to find the ingredients that would help Kalego-sensei to get better. She wondered if they would ever do something like this for her. Before she could even get an answer for herself someone put a hand over her shoulder. "Don't worry. We will help you if you are ever in trouble." Dali said with a thumbs up.

Shiida wondered how Dali knew what she was thinking but before she could asked Dali spoke up first. "You're face says it all. You're worried we won't do the same if you were in trouble. We are now colleagues aren't we? We will stand with you." Dali said reassuring Shiida. Shiida smile before nodding. "Thank you Dali-sensei." Shiida said with sparkles in her eyes

"No problem. I am the Teaching Supervisor after all. It is my job to make sure you and our fellow colleagues are in the best of health and mind." Dali said with a smile. "Is all the Dali's like you? If so Babyls is a greater place with you around" Shiida said looking out into the distant to where her other colleagues had left to do their mission.

"It will get better if Kalego gets back to his upmost health. The sooner the better" Dali said with a serious expression. Shiida nodded agreeing with everything Dali was saying. "Don't worry They'll get the ingredients." Ipos said approaching them. "Of course they will. Their the finest teachers Babyls can offer." Dali said his smile returning.

They all look towards the distant before going back into the dorms.

Chapter Text

Robin was flying over the forest while Opera jumps through trees with his fast agility. Robin had been quiet the entire fly which made Opera glance at him ever few minutes. He was contemplating asking Robin what was wrong even though he had an idea what the problem was. Before Opera had the chance to ask what was wrong Robin spoke up.

"I know why you keep glancing at me Opera-sensei. I know I've been quiet this entire time it's just.. I don't want Kalego-sensei go through a dark time like my cousin did." Robin admitted. Opera eyes widen but he didn't say anything and continued jumping but slowed his pace to match Robin's. Robin sigh before continuing. "My cousin, Barbatos Bachiko locked herself in her room for a while in the past." Robin stopped before continuing

"Due to a lot of students abandoning her teaching. I tried to cheer her up but nothing worked. In the end the president had to console her himself. I was useless. I don't want to be useless when someone I care about is hurting." Robin said. Clenching his fist in anger. "You weren't useless back then." Opera said his face looking straight ahead.

Robin looked surprise and turn towards Opera. "Wh..What do you mean?" Robin stuttered. "Lord sullivan and I was in the room when she told Sullivan-sama what happened in her past. She said your words gave her the strength to get back up and try to find another just one more disciple. She said you were the entire reason she agreed to help teach iruma." Opera said

Robin looked surprise before going back to his cheerful self. "Really?! She really said that?!" Robin yelled out of excitement flying in front of Opera who stopped in his tracks when Robin flew directly in front of him with a massive smile on his face. "Yes." Opera only said one word but that one word made Robin's day a lot better. Robin flew happily the rest of the way with Opera watching him with a small smile.

~When they arrived~

"I'll be the primary target for the beasts while you shoot them from up above. Do not use your bloodline ability just yet. We still can't see their leader." Opera said from the nearby bushes. Robin who was hiding beside him nodded. "Roger." Robin said with a grin taking out his magical bow and arrow aiming. With that Opera began to attack the herd of abyss monsters.

Robin flew up into the air before beginning to shoot arrows with extreme accuracy. The herd was quite large so Robin didn't stop shooting for even a moment in fear that if he does Opera would get overwhelm. On the other hand Opera was fighting 5 at a time with only a quarter of his strength. "Opera-sensei! On your left!" Robin shouted as he shot the one on Opera's right.

Opera quickly adapted and kicked the one that was about to attack him on his left. "Thanks." Opera said calmly. "No problem!" Robin said. Suddenly the ground shook. All the abyss monsters retreat into the nearby cave when the ground shook leaving Opera and Robin looking towards the entrance of the cave. A Massive Abyss monsters came out with a roar that left Robin holding onto a tree branch for dear life.

Opera stood his ground only his hands protecting his face in a protective stands. "That's the leader." Opera said calmly. Robin flew back besides Opera. "What is our plan." Robin said Aiming his bow directly towards the Massive leader. "I will attack it from the sides while you use your bloodline ability to attack the yellow crystal on it's back." Opera explained the plan

Robin nodded before flying into the air. The abyss monster saw this and use show like tentacles from it's own body to attack robin. Robin dodge them in the nick of time and flew even higher. While the Abyss Monster was distracted by Robin. Opera unleash half of his strength on the monsters side with a deadly punch.

The monster roared in pain before attacking Opera by trapping his legs in sticky black liquid. Opera struggled in the black liquid before using his magic to protect himself from the monster next attack which was using black tentacles to try and grab Opera which ultimately failed as Robin's bullseyes charged in the air. "BULLSEYE!" Robin shouted as the charged green phoenix arrow broke lose and destroyed the yellow crystal

The Abyss monster roared in pain before collapsing to the ground. Robin land right next to Opera helping him out of the sticky situation. "Are you alright Opera-sensei?" Robin asked as he pulled Opera. "I'll be better when I'm out of his liquid." Opera said with annoyance in his voice. "UGH!! This substance is really sticking to you good!" Robin said in struggle.

Opera tried to move his feet but unfortunately it was like they were glued to the ground by the substance. "This is annoying." Opera said. His eyes furrow burrowed in annoyance. "Uh... Opera-sensei.. Is it just me or is the monster getting bigger and bigger?" Robin said looking at the abyss monster that was getting bigger and bigger by the second.

Suddenly... POP! The abyss monster burst like a water balloon. The two was drench in it's black blood. "EW EW EW EW!!" Robin exclaim looking at himself. Opera simply Wipes away the blood from his face but it was clear he was also disgusted. "Hurry up and collect the blood that is dripping from our clothes." Opera said. Robin immediately nodded getting out a vile from his pocket and carefully collecting the blood Opera was squeezing out of his clothes.

"Looks like we got an entire vile of blood. I sure hope this will be enough." Robin said. Opera finally got out of the substance. "Let's head back. We've been here for far longer than we needed to be." Opera said taking the vile and putting it in their coat pocket. Robin nodded eagerly. "Hm! Hm! Yeah let's go back fast so we can get back in time."

With that the two began running and flying back to the Babyls teacher's dorm at high speed.

Chapter Text

"How did it come to this..." Murmur said as he stared at Momonoki-sensei who was chasing Orias-sensei with love in her eyes. Orias-sensei running away out of pure fear and Marbas-sensei who was crying in a ball on the floor.

~A couple of minutes earlier~

They had arrived to their destination using the door portal due to it being too far for them to fly in just 10 hours. "Alright. Our objective is clear. Get the everlasting light and get back to the dorms as quickly as possible." Momonoki-sensei said taking charge. "Yes Ma'am!" The three other said in unison. They walked into the cave where the stardust tree.

"Guest from far away. What do I owe the honor of the teachers of Babyls." The stardust tree began to speak scaring the four. "Devi you scared me.." Murmur said holding his chest. "My apologies dear guest. It isn't everyday I get to see such demons." The stardust tree spoke again it's vines starting to come to life. They all back up defensively.

"So tell me my dear visitors.. What is it that you wish from me." The stardust tree finally asked. They all looked at each other before they all look at Orias to do the talking. Orias activate his bloodline ability without the stardust tree noticing. "We came for the everlasting light." Orias stated. The vines on the tree started to sharpen as he finished talking.

"The Everlasting light? The every thing that only blooms once every decade? I only have 15 currently in my possession. What makes you all so worthy to come here and demand it from me!" The stardust tree said. Its vines sharpen and ready to attack. The four backed up from the vines not wanting to get stabbed. "D... Do not get us wrong Madam. We are only wanting the everlasting light for our ally who is severely hurt." Momonoki said

The vines fall to the ground. "For your ally? I guess I can give one to you since you so kindly called me Madam. But three of you must first bear the consequence of your wish. I shall mix up your emotions and one of you shall stay the same. Your goal is to get back to your original destination without straying." The stardust tree said. The four looked at each other.

"Every well. We agree to your terms" Momonoki said. "Alright. Since you seem to be the leader of this group you shall be one of the three I shall choose." The stardust tree said. She looked into Momonoki's memories before decided on which emotions to temper with. "Oh my. You seem head over heels for this Kalego demon. I shall mix up your love with someone else" The stardust tree said with a slight touch of her vine to Momonoki's shoulder a white light blinded them all for a second

"Momonoki-sensei.. Are you alright?" Marbas said cautiously. Momonoki turned around with hearts in her eyes. "Marbas-sensei.. I think.. I'm in love with Orias-sensei!" Momonoki said yelled out her declaration of love. " WHAT " The three said in horrific unison. Orias looked the most terrified. "Yes you heard me. Orias-sensei is just the man I love" Momonoki said her hands on her cheeks blushing like crazy.

"Ah Orias-sensei! Marry me!" Momonoki yelled out once she saw him chasing him. "NO NO NO!! MURMUR-SENSEI, MARBAS-SENSEI DO SOMETHING! PLEASE!!" Orias yelled out in panic running away from the lovestruck Momonoki. Before Marbas could help a vine touch his shoulder. "As a teacher of the arts of torture you should feel the sadness and the panic your students feel" The stardust tree said

With a bright light Marbas dropped to the floor crying and trembling on the floor. "I.. I'm so so sorry.. P.. Please..." Marbas cried to himself. Murmur dropped to his knees comforting Marbas. "For you.. You're always the fun and easy teacher. I shall make you serious and meticulous" The stardust tree said before landing a vine on top of Murmur's head.

Orias watch in horror as he realize he was the one who was tasked to guild his colleagues back to the dorms. "Wait nonononoNONO!" Orias yelled out but it was too late. Murmur emotions had already changed. He looked serious. "Marbas-sensei get up. You are embarrassing our school. You absolute idiot." Murmur said in a serious tone.

Orias looked at his colleagues with profound horror. Momonoki was hugging and clinging to him like a girlfriend. "That should be it. Here you go Orias-sensei. Make sure you keep this safe." The stardust tree said as she gave one of the everlasting light to Orias. "Thanks.." Orias said blankly as he put the everlasting light in his pocket.

~The current time~

"OI get yourself together you idiot!" Murmur yelled out in a serious manner which just makes Orias want to cry himself to sleep. Why. Why out of all four of them was he picked to keep his sanity. Orias stopped running and Momonoki hugged him tightly muttering how she was going to marry him. Marbas was crying still but he was being dragged by Murmur.

"Let's just get to the dorms as fast as we can.." Orias said already tired of his colleagues emotions switch. "You're finally using your stupid idiotic brain for once huh Orias-sensei." Murmur said poking Orias back. "Don't do that to my darling!" Momonoki yelled at Murmur with a pouty face. Orias looked ready to burry himself alive at this point.

"LISTEN HERE. OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO GET BACK TO THE DORMS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER OR ELSE SOMETHING TERRIBLE WILL HAPPENED DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME. I AM TIRED LISTENING TO YOUR NONSENSE!" Orias shouted. The three immediately shut up before nodding. "M.. My apologies.." Marbas said still crying his eyes out.

"Fine." Was all murmur said before stepping into line. Momonoki happily agreed which made Orias skin crawl. Orias began walking to the direction of the Babyls teachers dorm with the other three trailing behind him. They only made it half way before several monsters came out and attacked them. Orias immediately activate his bloodline abilities.

Momonoki took this opportunity to get closer with Orias while murmur fought with his bare fists. Marbas stayed crying but he was being protected by Murmur. "Damn it Momonoki-sensei. Use your magic on these beasts!" Orias said a bit too loudly. Momonoki's face lit up when Orias talked to her. "RIGHT!" Momonoki yelled out in excitement before using several magic at the same time.

In no time the monsters were defeated. Orias sighed a sigh of relief but he was quickly hugged by momonoki which made his skin crawl again. Murmur looked annoyed and serious while Marbas continued crying near Murmur's feet. "Let's just get to the dorms as quickly as possible. We only have 3 hours left." Orias said fixing his hat.

~An hour later~

They finally made it back and the ones to greet them was the rest of the teaching staff who just got back from their own mission as well. "He- HUH!?" Robin said in shock looking at the four who was completely out of whack. "Wh... What happened.. W.. Why is Momonoki-sensei hugging you and keep muttering she's going to marry you..." Dali said quietly like he couldn't believe this

Orias explained everything in great detailed while holding back tears. "There there.. I'll start working on the antidote immediately..." Balam said feeling pity for Orias. "Thank you..." Orias said quietly staying close to Robin who was acting like a shield between him and Momonoki. Ipos couldn't believe his ally was looking at him so seriously and saying mean stuff at him..

Shiida was trying to console Marbas who was still crying uncontrollably. Dali looked at the absolute mess his colleagues looked like. Opera and Robin were covered in blood while Momonoki, Marbas, dan Murmur was acting the opposite of themselve and Balam and suzy looked... completely normal? "Were you able to get the leaves Balam-sensei, Suzy-sensei? You both looked fine." Dali said.

"Oh yes we did. Yis. Quite a howl actually Yis." Suzy said pointing to the big plastic bag filled with leaves. "Our tasked wasn't that hard since the sleepy tree was in suzy-sensei personal greenhouse." Balam explained. Orias looked at him and muttered. "Lucky duo.." Narnia comes out side and saw the absolute chaos. "It's getting late and I assume you all would want to come inside so I took the task of preparing tea for everyone." Narnia said.

Without another word he turn his heel and walked inside. The others followed him. Opera's team and Orias's team were utterly exhausted with their mission so Dali's team and Balam's team decided to let them have the easiest tasks for the night to allow them to rest. "Oh I forgot to mention that the misfit class is here taking care of Kalego-sensei." Blushenko said

The two team pause before shouting. "WHAT?!"

Chapter Text

~9 hours earlier~

"EGGIE-SENSEI!" A loud voice caught Kalego's attention as he turn towards the doorway of his temporary room. The abnormal class was standing there carrying a bunch of board games, books and even writing materials. "What are you all doing here." Narnia asked his eyes narrow from his seat next to Kalego's bed. "We heard about the current situation from Grandpa so we came to keep Kalego-sensei company" Iruma said rubbing his neck.

Narnia was about to refuse when Kalego turn to him and shook his head. Narnia looked surprise but he decided to respect Kalego's decision. "You can stay but keep your voices down." Narnia said returning his attention to his book. Just then Dali and shiida came into the room. "Ah When did you all come in?" Dali said surprise to see the abnormal class here.

"We just entered with the spare key Opera-san gave me." Iruma admitted. "I made some stew if you all want some. I followed the recipe Robin-sensei gave me before leaving." Shiida said lifting the steaming hot stew pot. "Shiida-sensei you're the best!" Lied said running out the room and coming back in with the bowls and utensils.

They all took their bowl and began to eat. Kalego of course at first didn't want to eat but when Narnia gave him a bowl he obediently began to eat until it was finish. That scene alone made the Abnormal class worried. "Are you sure Eggie-sensei is alright Mr. Scary?" Clara asked Narnia with her head resting on her arms which were on the bed.

"Mr. Scary? You sure give strange nicknames." Narnia said before sighing and answer clara's question. "He will be when the other Babyls teachers arrive with the ingredients." Narnia said which made clara's and everyone in the abnormal class face lit up with hope. "So we'll get back our emperor of gloom and doom back soon right?" Lied said too excitedly.

Narnia simply sigh at the nicknames. If he had attack or even yell at these brats Kalego would surely never speak to him ever again. Kalego grabbed lied by his head which made lied scream in pain (but not that much). "Silence you brat." Kalego said but soon he let go and return to his bed where he stare blankly out the window. The abnormal class, the remaining Babyls teachers and Narnia watched in concern.

After a while the abnormal class began to do their homework with each other. Narnia continued to read his book which was surprisingly wasn't about torture tactics. Shiida was helping the abnormal class with their school work while the other teachers do Kalego's side of reports and paperwork which had to be equally divided with 15 teachers.

"Does anyone have the answers to question 25 on Orias-sensei's homework?" Purson asked the the room. "I'm still stuck on that question." Sabnock said. "Me as well.." Asmodeus admitted. Before shiida could read the question to help them a voice came from the bed gave them the answer. "Answer that question at night while looking at the stars." Kalego said as he stared out the window.

Narnia looked surprise. Shiida as well. The abnormal class looked between the three in confusion. "Why are you two looking at Kalego-sensei in surprise?" Kerori asked. "Because when Kalego stares off into the space like this he wouldn't utter even a single word. Not even if I force him." Narnia said his tone filled with surprise. Shiida nodded in agreement.

The abnormal class look shock before happiness filled their faces. "A.. Are you saying.. We helped Kalego-sensei by asking a question about our homework?!" Iruma said excitedly. Narnia put a hand on his chin while he was thinking before coming up with a reasonable answer. "It's his duty as a teacher. You asked an academic question and he is oblige to answer." Narnia said

The class look at each other with excitement. They all climbed into bed and started asking questions about their homework. Without missing a beat Kalego began explaining the questions and answers. Even simplifying for clara. Not once for the several hours Kalego helped them with every single homework they had did Kalego look out the window.

~back to the present~

As the teachers came inside from their long journeys they were met with the dining table filled with delicious food. "Welcome back Opera-san,everyone." Iruma said happily. "Thank you Iruma-sama. Before we all sit down and eat I need to ask you a serious question." Opera said putting both his hands on Iruma's shoulder. " Did. You. Cook. Any. Of. These. "

"He didn't get the chance. I sent him out of the kitchen." Narnia said already having the information that Iruma was an absolute terrible cook. Opera sighed in relief. He didn't want anyone to go into a three day coma like Lord sullivan back when he tried to eat Iruma's cooking. "Thank you Sir Narnia." Opera said. "Hey Opera-san. We manage to get Kalego-sensei to not go stare out the window for several hours!" Iruma said excitedly.

"Really how?!" Balam asked taking a few steps forward. "By asking the answers to our homework." Lied said proudly. "Excuse me?" Orias said raising an eyebrow. still keeping a safe distance away from Momonoki. "We were having a hard time figuring out the answer to question 25 of Orias-sensei's homework and Purson decided to ask the room and boom Kalego-sensei answered." Jazz said with a smirk.

"So you used Kalego-sensei as your personal answering machine for your homework." Blushenko said bluntly. "T... That's not.. Well..." Gaap stuttered unable to think of a suitable reason. The teachers shook their head. If Kalego was in peek health he would have yelled and grip their head so hard they would have been begging for mercy.

"We all should get some food in our stomach before Dr. Nicole gets here." Narnia said pointing to the clock. "Ah we almost forgot. Let's hurry up and eat." Robin said. The other nodded before sitting down and beginning to enjoy their food which was cooked by Elizabetta, Narnia, and Shiida. Before long every plate on the tables were cleared out. Now all they needed to do was wait for Dr. Nicole to arrive.

Chapter Text

As the clock strike 8 pm a knock on the door was heard. Dali stood up from the his seat in the living room to answer the door. On the other side Dr. Nicole was there with a filled bag of supplies. "I'll assume Naberius Kalego is already asleep?" Nicole said without sparring any pleasantries. Narnia nodded. "That is correct. He has already been asleep for an hour." Narnia said.

Nicole nodded in approval. Not wasting any time she went up to Kalego's temporary room without a word. Narnia, the mifit class and a handful of teachers followed Dr. Nicole. She started to unpack her belonging. After all her stuff was set up she turn to the teachers. "Did you get the items I needed?" Nicole asked them with a serious expression.

Opera step forward first. Still covered in blood he gave the vile to Dr. Nicole who looked shock at the amount of blood he manage to get. "I'm not even going to question how you go this much blood." Nicole said. Orias step forward next. "This is the everlasting light. I went through absolute torture to get this." Orias said. Nicole looked at the three that was acting strange.

"I can see that." Nicole said feeling a tiny amount of pity for Orias. Balam raise his hand to grab Dr. Nicole attention. She looks towards him and notice the large bag of leaves and just deadpanned. "When I said I needed a couple I did not mean that much. I needed like 3 at most but I will accept the extra's if you would be so kind." Nicole said grabbing three leaves from the bag.

Balam nodded letting Nicole take the entire bag. "Alright. How my treatment will work is that I'll be going inside Kalego's mental space and try to free him from whatever that is keeping him there. I can only take the maximum of three other people with me. Unfortunately I cannot bring any of the Abnormal class with me seeing it would be too dangerous. I also cannot let you enter with me Sir Narnia." Nicole said.

Narnia eyebrow furrowed but didn't argue. He knew she wouldn't say that if there isn't a good reason and he trust her. Opera and Balam raise their hands wanting to come with. "We want to help you if it's possible." Opera said with a determine expression. "Every well. I guess only you two then." Nicole said as she crush all the ingredients together before putting it on herself, Balam and Opera's forehead

"You might want to sit down for this." Nicole said as she look a seat in a comfortable chair. Opera and Balam nodded before taking their seats on the other chairs. Nicole used a spell which binds their hands together before blacking out. Opera and balam eyes went dark before they went limp and unconscious. Iruma wanted to go to opera to check if they were ok but Narnia stopped him.

~Inside Kalego's mental space~

"Woah." Opera said as he floated in a black space with shinning orbs that seems to be memories and floating doors. "Opera-senpai. You look like how you were when you were a Babyls student." Balam said. Opera look at himself with the reflective surface of one of the memory. "Woah.. You as well Balam-kun." Opera pointed out. "It's not the time to chit-chat." Nicole said still in her adult form.

"Right" Balam said as he nodded. Nicole turns towards the the many many memories and doors. "He must be stuck in one of the memory or behind a door. We need to pick which one carefully. Let's avoid seeing any of his secrets." Nicole said which Opera and Balam both nodded in agreement. "Luckily these memory orbs allows us to see a split second of the memory" Nicole said

Opera look at one of the memory and they saw they were staring right back at his past self that looked surprise. "This is from the time Kalego first saw me. He bit my tail which surprise me because I had punch him in his guts which should have made him past out." Opera said pointing to the memory. "Oh that time.. It was the start of our alliance wasn't it." Balam said.

Opera nodded. "Then I'm guessing he isn't stuck in that one. Hm Let's try one of these doors." Nicole said as the two other floated behind her. She opened the door and the three of them were suck in. When they opened their eyes they were met with child Kalego. He was carrying books with a big eyes. "Aw he looked so cute as a child!" Balam said

Opera smiles at the tiny sight. "Luckily He can't see us right now." Nicole said in relief. Just then a figure walked right throught them. It was Narnia. He patted Kalego's head which made tiny Kalego eyes sparkled so cutely. Just then they were sucked out of the memory and back to where they were before. "So the doors are just the place for precious memories." Nicole said as she put hand over her chin.

As Balam floated around he accidentally touch an memory orb which sucked the three of them into. They fell from the sky unlike the other memories and they have a physical bodies in the memories. Well.. Balam and Opera did. Nicole stayed translucent. "Ow.." Balam said as he rubs his head from where he had hit it. "Is this.. Past Babyls?" Opera said looking around.

"Yeah.. It is.. Wait we have physical bodies!" Balam said touching the grass and trees. "You're right.. This must be the memory Naberius Kalego is stuck in." Nicole said floating around them. "I think you're ri-" Before Opera could finish his sentence he heard crying. They both turn towards the forest and saw first year Kalego crying silently to himself.

"Here goes nothing.." The two whispered before going to kalego. "Kalego-kun? Are you alright?" Balam asked trying to seem like his past self. "Shichiro? What are you doing here. Didn't the teacher call you for a one on one lesson because you're failing?" Past Kalego asked. Balam panic. "The teacher had something to do so he asked me to do the one on one lesson later." Balam explained.

"Oh.." Kalego said as he looked away. "Have you been crying~" Opera tease. "N- NO!" Kalego yelled out annoyed as usual at Opera's teasing. "Then why is your eyes red. If you tell me what's wrong I'll buy you the dark chocolate from the store that you like." Opera said with a tone that says temporary offer. Kalego hesitate for a moment.

He had loved those chocolates and his clan had forbidden him to eat anything too sweet without their permission in fear it would distract him from his studies. Kalego sighed before looking Opera straight in his eyes. "Fine but don't you dare tell my uncle or anyone else" Kalego growled. Balam wasn't surprise on how Opera easily convince Kalego.

Kalego looked back at the ground before he answered Opera's question. "I was crying..." Kalego quietly admitted. "Why." Opera pressed for answered. Kalego hesitated before answering. "I couldn't protect them.. The abnormal class ." Kalego said sourly. "What..." Balam asked. Opera and Nicole looked shock. The world shook as Kalego muttered over and over again

"KALEGO!" Opera and Balam yelled out as they tried to grab his hand but before they could the world turn into a red light dungeon with Kalego surrounded with shadow figures yelling and telling him bad things about himself. Balam, Opera and Nicole use their magic to fight off any shadow figures that came towards them. Opera tried to grab Kalego when chains block him

Chains started to grab him at every angle. With each chain a voice from his family, allies and students came up with distain, hatred and annoyance. 'Worthless' 'A disgrace to the Naberius clan' 'I hate him' 'He sucks' 'An idiot as a teacher' 'I'm sure the other Naberius teachers are much better than him. With each voice more and more chain restraint him

Pain surge all over his body. His eyes became hollowed as he listen to the voices. "KALEGO-KUN! CAN YOU HEAR ME! KALEGO!" A distant voice reaching out to him. He can barely hear it. It sounded like.. Balam and Opera? He looked up as two hand reach towards him. He tried reaching but chains holds him back leaving him with no strength.

As he was about to give up when a massive blast of light made him see hope. It was Balam's grand cocoon. He manage to use his grand cocoon around Opera who along with along use a frontal assault on the chains of doubts. "KALEGO! YOU ALONE NEED TO GET OUT OF THERE! WE CAN ONLY FEND OFF YOUR DOUBTS FOR A LITTLE BIT!" Nicole shouted as she reflect another attack

Light returns to Kalego eyes as he remembers all the time he actually had fun with his colleagues, his family and the misfit class. He slowly got up. The chains and shadow figures all surround him whispering and yelling at him. "ENOUGH!" Kalego use his mana to create a barrier big enough that fit all four of them.

"I AM NABERIUS KALEGO OF THE NABERIUS CLAN. YOU ARE ALL NOTHING !" Kalego declared out loud making all the chains and shadow figure dissolve as area returns to normal as an black voice filled with doors and orbs memories. Kalego took a breath before releasing the barrier. "Kalego-kun! Are you alright? Are you back?" Balam said as he floated around Kalego.

"Yes, yes I'm back but.. Where are we." Kalego said as he looked around at his surrounding. "We're inside your mental space" Opera said casually but his ears were up signalling they were happy. "We're inside what." Kalego growls clearly not happy having his senpai and ally inside his brain. "Long story Kalego-kun." Balam said trying to ease Kalego's anger.

"Alright. It seems all the corruption is gone let's get back to the real world shall we?" Nicole said as she reach out for their hands. "I couldn't agree with you more." Kalego said wanting them all out of his brain. Nicole took all their hands and close her eyes. The others does the same. With a flash of light they were back in their own body.

Opera slowly open their eyes just to see everyone beside him, Balam, Dr. Nicole and Kalego had moved to the doorway with a magic barrier protecting them. "What are you all doing." Balam asked with his head tilted. "What are we doing?! You four keep blasting Magic everywhere! We were luckily to manage to put up a barrier before it hit any of us! Yis!" Suzy said taking cover behind Dali

"Did you succeed?" Narnia asked looking at the still sleeping Kalego. They all turn to Kalego. Dr. Nicole was about to answer when Kalego stirred and got up. "Kalego." was all Narnia said before he went to Kalego's beside. "Brother? What are you doing here.." Kalego said as he shook off his sleep. "I've been here for a couple of weeks already Kalego." Narnia said.

"How much do you remember." Dr. Nicole ask. Kalego thought about it for a moment before answering. "Bits and pieces of the past few weeks. I do remember doing a bunch of competition." Kalego answered. "Our plan worked." Lied high five Iruma. Kalego turn towards them with a glare. "You used me as your personal answer for your homework didn't you." Kalego said with pure annoyance.

The Abnormal class back away from the door. "Oh don't worry. I'll be assigning 6 times more homework than usual to make up for it." Kalego said with a wicked grin. "NOOO" The class yelled out in despair. Kalego look at around the room when he notice that both Opera and Robin was covered in blood while Momonoki, Murmur and Marbas was acting really weird.

"I... I don't even want to know." Kalego said. Orias grab him by his shoulders. "You better be grateful. I had to deal with a lovestruck Momonoki-sensei, a too serious Murmur-sensei and a crying Marbas-sensei." Orias said with the eyes absolute blood shot red. Kalego looked behind Orias towards the three then look back at Orias. "I'll.. Treat you to a meal later." Kalego said a bit too sheepishly.

Orias huff in satisfaction before leaving and slamming his door room shut so Momonoki-sensei couldn't get in. "I'm glad your back Kalego-sensei." Robin said. "Yeah welcome back Babyls guard dog." Dali said with a smile. Shiida nodded before handing Kalego a bowl of piping hot devil soup. "Thanks.. It feels good to be back." Kalego said before taking a sip of the soup.

They were all gathered around Kalego's bed for the rest of the night just talking of what happening the past one month while Kalego was out of it. Kalego listen carefully. He often glares at the part he didn't like and he answered in which parts he remembers and which part he had absolutely no clue on. That night will go down as the warmest and the most love Kalego had felt from his.. Friends and Family.
