Chapter Text
The Elden ring, A culmination of Runes that governs the Land’s between, given by the Greater will to Queen Marika. The Land’s between remains peaceful yet at the edge of another war as armies prepare and schemers plan. When a plot of great atrocity was about to be committed, the world paused.
Time ticked down as the world remained frozen, everyone was still as a statue, yet a select few moved, unaffected by the change.
Ranni, the Lunar Princes, felt a shift in the air of Liurnia and the sudden change in atmosphere around her mother, using a quick spell that allowed her to teleport, she quickly made way towards her mother, stopping to see that everyone in Raya Lucaria was frozen. As Ranni turned to move, a blue swirl opened below her, sucking her in.
Rykard, sat in his throne when everything was frozen, as his body became tense and he prepared to move, a reddish swirl appeared below him, jumping back the another portal appeared in where he landed, sucking him in.
General Radahn prepared to move with his men at Redmane Castle, until he felt the air around him to still and the stars to freeze, as Radahn turned around him in order to command his men, he spotted them to be frozen as well. As he moved to take charge in whatever was happening, a purple swirl appeared in front of him, sucking him in with a full force of Gravity Magic.
In a corner of the Land’s between by a place named the Haligtree, the twins Malenia and Miquella (with St. Trina staying inside of Miquella) prepared to enact their plan when a Flowery Portal opened up in front of them, Malenia rushed to be in front of Miquella to protect him, while Miquella simply observed in curiosity. That was until they too were sucked into the portal.
In hidden parts of the world and the darkest corners of the Land’s between, Mohg and Morgott disappeared from the sewers, unaware of the happenings on the outer worlds frozen time, while Melina and Messmer simply disappeared from their sanctuary.
As the Land’s between remains silent, the missing Demi-Gods appeared in a far off place that resembled a theater, seats of red velvet matched with black, with a screen of darkness in front, the Demi-Gods appeared together through the portals.
As the Demi-Gods stood a reasonable distance from each other, they soon spotted the other Demi-Gods, from Ranni to Messmer.
“What have you done this time, Ranni?” Boomed Radahn, whose greatswords was pulled from his back and gripped in his hands as he stared at Malenia and Miquella, who are staring at him intently.
“For once this was not my doing, Brother.” Ranni replied, as she stood in front of Radahn with an ounce of fear, even with the height disparity.
“Oh, that is hard to assume to be correct, am I right Brother.” Rykard replied, as he began to walk towards them, with an arrogant yet cautious stance.
“Thou shall listen to her, I could tell that she is non the wiser to our predicament” A new voice called out, a gentle yet threatening voice. The group, including Miquella and Melaina, turned to see Messmer approaching them, with his spear and snakes in the ready. “Hmm… I could sense the grace of Gold within, a familiar feeling to mine, children of Marika?”
“Who are you?” Miquella simply asked as he stared at the new figure he had never seen before, while Melania stood in a ready posture, due to the appearance of his snakes.
“He is Messmer the Impaler, the son of Queen Marika.” A female voice called out from behind the group, everyone once more turned to see a woman, Melina simply observing, while sitting down on one of the seats within the theater.
‘Another son of Marika/Mother?’ These are the thoughts that flew in the heads of others.
“To think we would see each other once more Sister.” Messmer replied, with Melina answering back with a nod of her head.
The group then spent time talking and threatening each other, even more so when they spotted the Omen Twins, Morgott and Mohg, that was until Ranni decided to stop the infighting.
“It seems none of us knows why we are here at all, not even the omen twins before us.” Ranni answered simply before looking towards the screen. “That has something to do with our predicament, I would simply use a spell yet I could not feel an ounce of Mana flow through me.”
“Then we try to brute force it.” Radahn spoke as he charged towards the screen with his twin great swords, and once the screen was hit, Radahn was launched backwards and onto a seat with his great swords bleeding into the screen.
“Hmm… it seems the screen is some form of mimic, or a living entity.” Melina concluded before soon spotting a scroll landing next to her. “...I assume this would have our answer.”
Melina called the attention of the others, as they turned to her. Once she got the attention of everyone in the room, she began reading aloud what is written in the note.
“For the Demi-Gods of the Land’s between, you have been selected to watch another world beyond the fog, beyond the stars. To learn from it, to witness the history, the Myths, the Legends, and the Heroes of that world. Once the lesson has been concluded, you would return back to the moment you were taken, with the knowledge of what was learned through this theater.”
Melina concluded, before returning her attention towards the group. “...These are the words written on the scroll…”
“...It is best we listen, for we have no choice in the matter, even the strongest of us could not breach their defenses.” Morgott spoke out as he began to sit on a seat meant for his size, alongside his brother.
“I agree, but I do not accept the idea of us being taken.” Melania agreed as she too began to sit down on a seat alongside Miquella, who sat down awhile ago.
“It seems the decision has been made, let us hope there is something to learn from this.” Ranni spoke as she and Rykard sat down on a seat close to the screen.
Messmer merely sat down next to Melina and stared at the screens along with his snakes.
