Chapter Text
It all starts in a city by the famous Wonka's chocolate factory called Toothpaste Valley, England. Where a preteen boy watched a candy man sell his candy to children before he continues delivering newspapers to support his poor family.
Narrator: This is a story about an ordinary little boy named Charlie Bucket, he was not faster or stronger or more clever than other children. His family was not rich, or powerful, or well connected, in fact they barely have enough to eat. Charlie Bucket was the luckiest boy in the entire world, he just didn't know it yet.
After his shift as the sun was setting, Charlie rides his bike over to his boss' newsstand.
Charlie greeted: Hey, Mr. Jopeck.
Mr. Jopeck responded: Ah, come along, you are late.
Charlie asked: But isn't it payday, Mr. Jopeck?
Oh, you are right Charlie. : Mr. Jopeck responded before paying Charlie with some money.
Say hi to your Grandpa Joe for me. : Mr. Jopeck said
I will. : Charlie responded before riding his bike after giving another poor family some of his earned money to his home, a crooked house on the other side of the valley. Where his grandparents laid in bed, his mother making cabbage soup, and Charlie himself was doing his homework. Just then his father came to the door when it was snowing that night.
Mr. Bucket greeted them: Evening buckets.
Grandpa Joe greeted back: Evening.
Charlie greeted: Hi, dad.
Mr. Bucket then walked over to his wife who kissed and asked about what to add into the soup before walking to Charlie.
Charlie, I found something I think you'd like. : Mr. Bucket said before placing some crooked toothpaste caps onto the table. Then it shows that Mr. Bucket worked in a factory to support his family.
Narrator: While Charlie worked with newspapers, his father worked at a local toothpaste factory. The hours were long and the pay was terrible and occasionally there were unexpected surprises.
Charlie picks one of the crooked caps and flips it, knowing what to do with it.
Charlie excitedly: Exactly what I need. I'll place it after I finish my homework.
Grandpa Joe asked: What is it Charlie?
After Charlie finishes his homework he places it into his backpack before bringing up his factory model made out of toothpaste caps and placing the final piece on the figure.
Charlie: Dad found it, just the piece I needed.
Grandpa Joe: What piece was it?
Charlie: A head for Willy Wonka.
Grandma Josephine: How wonderful.
After saying the likeness of the model to the Real Willy Wonka Grandpa Joe starts telling Charlie how he used to work for him when he was younger.
