Lightning Scars And Pokéballs

Summary:

What happens when you combine Pokémon and magic? Complete chaos.

Notes:

I found an AI generated series where someone combines Pokémon and Harry Potter, and it hasn't left my brain, so I started writing it.

Chapter 1: Chapter One: Baby In A Basket

Chapter Text

Chapter One: Baby In A Basket

It was just after midnight on November 1st, 1981, as an older man with a long silver beard, light purple robes, and silver halfmoon glasses seemingly appeared out of nowhere along with two chandelier like creatures known as Chandelure, one black and lavender with purple flames while the other was black and white with orange flames, who moved from lamp post to lamp post turning out each light, until they reached the ones on Privet Drive, and the man they followed pulled a small, lighter like device from an inner pocket and clicked it once turning out all of the lights in a single go.
Both man and creatures stop for a moment looking around as if for something, or someone, as two red and black cat like creatures trotted over, one was larger and fluffier than the other. The smaller one was known as a Litten, and the larger one was a Torracat. “Rather peaceful night, isn’t Minerva?” The older man asked,
Between one step and the next the Torracat went from Pokemon to human. “Albus, you simply must re-think this,” The now named Minerva spoke, her thick Scottish brogue weaving throughout each word, “I’ve spent the entire day watching these people, and they’re horrible, the absolute worst kind of muggles!”
Albus sighed, “Minerva you know why this must happen,” he stated forcing his voice to sound gentle and grandfatherly, when all he truly felt was annoyance, “The boy requires family, and this is the only family he has left.”
Before Minerva could respond there was a rumbling sound and a pitch black motorcycle flew into view landing with a slight bounce a few feet away from the two individuals and their Pokémon, sitting on the motorcycle was a massive mountain of a man, with a tiny bundle in the side car, surrounding the bundle were three Pokémon who looked like floating key rings known as Klefki who were all floating in just the right positions to keep the bundle, and the now visible baby in the wrapped blankets, in place on the side car’s seat.
Albus stepped forward with a smirk he quickly hid behind a kind smile, “Ah Hagrid, good, how is he?”
The newly named Hagrid sniffles, “He, he fell asleep above Surry he did,” He says brokenly, causing Albus to roll his eyes.
“Oh do pull yourself together my boy,” Albus said as he moved to grab the bundled baby, only to have to jerk his hands back when the three Klefkis tried to stab him with the keys they hold.
Hagrid surges forward, “Blimey! ‘M so sorry sir! I told ‘em to protect lil’ Harry and these three tend to be rather feisty when protective!”
Albus bit down the swears and sharp words he wanted to fling at the big oaf, instead pasting on a fake smile he gave a weak laugh, “Ah, think nothing of it my boy!” He said in an overly cheerful voice, “Nothing to it, though if you would kindly tell them to let me take little Harry I would greatly appreciate it.”
“Course sir, course!” Hagrid stated, then turned to his Pokémon, “Okay you lot! Now knock it off and let the Headmaster take ‘im!” The Klefki all looked at each other occasionally clinking their keys together as if complaining, but when Albus picks the baby up all they do is glare.
“Thank you HagRID!” Halfway through him saying Hagrid’s name a tiny fluffy ball pokes out of the bundle and tries to bite him, the Pokémon in question was a small black and blue fox like Pokémon called Zorua, then a second one popped out on the other side of little Harry, this one white and blue with fur that looked more ghost like. Albus’ eyes went wide and he gave a small cough, “Ah, well, it seems Lily and James went ahead and gave him his first Pokémon, how how nice.”
Minerva hid a smile with her hand and a cough, while her Litten and the three Klefkis had no such restraint though they quickly stopped when Albus’ two Chandelures glared at the other Pokémon, “Are you really surprised, Albus?” Minerva asked, “James adored causing trouble, while Lily was the brightest witch of her age, and she knew they were in danger.”
Albus grumbled slightly, “Ah yes, quite,” he growled out, forgetting to hide his distaste, before hurriedly carrying the bundled boy and Pokémon to nearby Number 4 and practically dumped them on the doorstep with a simple note he stuck to the blanket with a muttered word and wave of a long stick like object. After placing the sticking charm he stood up and stepped back. “There is not a child or being in our world who will not know his name,” he started, trying to sound philosophical, completely unaware of the awkward glances Minerva and Hagrid shared. Before he could say anything else or take a step forward there was a screech from behind him and suddenly he was being attacked by a rat like Pokémon, while a second curled protectively around the abandoned bundle, the Pokémon attacking Albus was a massive brown and tan rat like Pokémon called Raticate, while the other was known as Watchhog. Albus screamed and flung the Raticate off sending it hard into the door, clearly startling the residence inside awake.
“Quickly we need to leave!” Albus hissed as he limped away, his Chandelure returning the lights to the lamp posts before they joined him as he disappeared. Litten quickly jumped into Minerva’s arms and then they were gone, while the three Klefkis flew into Hagrid’s coat and he took off on the motorcycle, disappearing into the sky moments before the door to Number 4 Privet Drive flew open.
As the door flew open there was a feminine gasp as a woman in her bathrobe noticed the Pokémon now both wrapped around the baby and his two Zorua. “What in the world?” She asked as she scooped the bundle up, while both of her Pokémon scurried up to her shoulders. Seeing the note she read it and her face quickly went white.
‘Mrs. Dursley-nee-Evans,
It is my great sorrow to have to tell you that your younger sister, Lily Potter-nee-Evans and her husband James Potter were both killed late on October 31st, 1981, as such I entrust the care of their child, Harry Potter, to you and your husband.
My warmest regards,
Brian Wulfric Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, High Warlock of the Wizzongamot, Head Mugwump of the IGS.’
The second she finished reading the letter Mrs. Dursley scowled and let her Raticate shred the offending paper, then she looked at the baby and her face immediately softened. “Don’t worry Harry, your Auntie Tuney won’t let that liar and cheat hurt you,” she cooed, then glanced back inside with a nervous look, “Even if that means having to protect you from my husband too.” Carefully she carried them back inside, placing a gentle kiss on all three little heads. “Welcome home my little one.”
