Hola, my name is dawn lucero im 13 this is the story of how my life went downhill after i moved to the US. It all started when my mama decided to get married to a pedazo de mierda, excuse my language,but he was horrid. Anyways, we moved to New York city from Saltillo,Mexico. My mama thought it would be good for us. By us I mean me and my brother,Dean. She apparently thought that we could have a better life there but that didn’t come for a long while. We had to live with my mama’s new husband Derik and his daughter Ashley. If I'm being completely honest Ashley wasn’t that bad, maybe a little spoiled but not as bad as her dad. Actually her dad didn’t start being a pedazo de mierda until at least a month or so after we arrived. After that he was pretty abusive. As uncomfortable as these next few chapters may be for you and me, they are very necessary for the plot soooooo buckle up because this story is an emotional roller coaster.
