Chapter Text
Two cities stand where stone meets shining sky,
one crowned in gold, one left to rot and die.
In Piltover where polished towers gleam,
the Council rules by law, rigid decree;
there Heimerdinger, old and watchful, reigns,
while Mel’s wise counsel tempers sharper strains,
like Salo’s velvet tongue that cuts like steel,
and calls for order that the rest must feel.
Below, in Zaun where chem and iron breed,
where Vander strives to cage the chemlords' greed,
while Silco whispers through the choking gloom,
that change begins with sparks that spell their doom.
Here science twists, fitting survival’s need,
and even mercy grows from desperate seed.
So watch, fair minds, a fragile thread be spun,
where two great minds conspire to be one.
For Jayce, golden son of Piltover’s pride,
and Viktor, forged where Zaun’s deep shadows hide,
may find in one another mirrored flame—
or fiery blaze that they cannot contain.
Take heed: for progress ever casts a cost,
and what is gained is often something lost.
