"All Might—have you?" He looked over the tall man "been bitten?" He finished his sentence off quickly.

"No of course not—what's going on? Where is everyone. Why are you covered in blood?" Toshinori stood up from the desk rushing over. Grabbing a med kid that he had put in a nearby draw, just in case.

"No, don't waste it on me. It's too late."

"Too late? For what? Let me see the wound, I'm sure Recovery Girl can heal it." He said firmly, pulling at where the blood seemed to be coming from, his arm had a deep bite mark. Redness around it like a small burn.

Toshinori knelt down on the floor, grimacing from his back pain as he did. He began to grab the bandages.

"No. Stop. Yagi, it is too late." Snipe said firmly, shoving the supplies back into the med kit.

Chapter 1: She don't bite! Maybe.

Chapter Text

Eight AM. School was starting in thirty minutes, and Recovery Girl had begun to set up for the day, checking that all the bandages, medications and supplies she needed for the day were there.

Her body creaked as she leaned on her cane. She was old now, nothing like how she used to be. Recovery Girl smiled at the thought.

Walking towards the bed, she fiddled with the clean sheets and the adjustable bed frame, humming a song she knew under her breath as she did her work methodically. Once she was finished, she pressed her hands together.

There was a few more things she had to do: notes for and about sick kids, setting up the day's check-in log, ensuring All Might took his medication. The hero often forgot, and Chiyo had made it her job to ensure he remembered them. It had annoyed him the first few days, but over time he'd gotten used to it — at least, that's what she liked to think.

She doubled checked the Epi-pens and the medication for students who needed it throughout the day.

"Excuse me, Recovery Girl?" A young student opened the door, clutching her arm. A chill ran up Chiyo's spine, though there was nothing to be afraid of.

Her name was Akira Sato, a science student. Recovery Girl smiled softly and waved her over.

"Yes, my dear? What happened to your arm?" She asked gently, patting the bed. Sato sat down, revealing the bite mark. Her arm still bleeding slightly; the bite had gone through multiple layers of skin.

"Oh—" Recovery Girl immediately began to inspect the wound. "We'll need to check for viruses that could have been passed to you. There will be a blood test in a while, can you tell me what happened?" She began to clean the wound, wrapping it tightly in a pristine white bandage.

"I don't know…" Akira spoke softly, "Some lady came out of an alleyway and just…bit me. She seemed out of it. I think police arrested her? It was quite scary…" She mumbled as Recovery Girl finished.

"I can see why. I'm going to use my quirk on you, then take your blood. Is that okay, darling?" Recovery Girl asked. Though diseases could be spread with wounds like this, her quirk seemed to speed them up only a little. If the child did, unfortunately, contract a disease, as long as she was on the correct medication or treatment plan, she'd be fine within a few weeks.

Recovery Girl gently kissed the girl's forehead. Everything went still.

The girl let out a blood-curdling scream of agony. Her hands pressed to her arm where the sunburn, no — a radiation burn — began to grow and grow, covering her whole body. The skin on her arm almost melted off her, red-hot blisters forming and popping in seconds, her flesh decaying. She screams and begs for it to stop until her words gurgled in her throat; her vocal cords decayed as well.

With her tear ducts gone, no way to cry, no way to speak, all Akira could do was writhe and let her mouth gape open in pain. She jumped at the horrified Recovery Girl, biting down hard on the old woman's hand.

The smell of rot filled the room as Chiyo desperately attempted to get her back into the bed, tying her down with the bandages.

The girl's mouth and lips were gone, teeth falling out one by one, hair already fallen out in clumps on the bed as if it had been hacked off.

Chiyo held her hand tightly, putting pressure on the wound as it, her, Akira, thrashed and struggled against the bandages tying her down. A horrific sight.

Her pale skin was gone, her mouth and teeth as well, she looked like a corpse, no she was a corpse. Half decayed, yet still painfully alive.

Recovery Girl rushed out of the room, the smell finally registering to her, this burning smell, burning of flesh. The smell of rot and death. She did that, she used her quirk and it did that. To that sweet girl who wanted to be a scientist. Sato.

Chiyo stumbled down the hallway in shock, the bite is slowly getting red. Much slower than Sato's did.

She moved through the empty halls slowly, her mind spinning, the bite stinging worse and worse.
She let out a yelp as she crashed into the wall. Where was she again.

She tried to talk but nothing came from her mouth, her legs slowly began to move on their own.

Hizashi watched as Recovery Girl stumbled towards him, her eyes cloudy and distant, her movement stiff. She walked slowly, leaning against the wall.

"Recovery Girl?" He asked carefully, noticing the bite mark on her arm, red and flaky.
He walked closer to her, ready to help her walk.
Instead she leaped towards him, falling to the ground but managing to bite his ankle in the process.

Hizashi panicked kicked her off quickly and backing up, the bite piercing the skin. He looked at her confused as she scrambled towards him again, about to attack once more.

Yamada dodged her this time, managing to grab her hands behind her back and cuffing them. She trashed and yelled in pain, tears dripping on to the nice now dirtied floor.

Yamada caught his breath, holding Chiyo away from him as she attempted to bite him over and over. He sighed.

"Recovery Girl please calm down…come on—just stop trying to bite me!" He almost yelled at her, holding her away from him.

"What do I do…" He mumbled quietly looking at the person who had always seemed so calm even when angry, now thrashing and attempting to attack.

"I'll take you to Nedzu, he'd know what to do." Mic said firmly as he began to walk, then run towards the office.

Recovery Girl screamed as Hizashi dragged her across the floor.

He rushed through the halls of UA, not bothering to knock once he got to the office. He pushes the door open and immediately uncuffed one of Recovery Girls' hands and looped the chain through the radiator in the corner of the room before re cuffing her hand.
She managed to bite him again, this time biting down on his hand.

Hizashi yelped and looked to the shocked rat in the chair, he opened his mouth as he stepped away from her, almost collapsing into the chair in front of the desk.

"Principal Nedzu.." He looked to his boss, still shaking from the event before launching into an explanation.

"I don't know what happened, we need a doctor for her she violent she won't talk and her arm— It's like burnt? I don't know why." He looked at Chiyo in worry, as he rambled.

Nedzu nodded quickly, jumping up onto the desk and walking over to mic, grabbing the hand that Recovery Girl bit.

"I'll call someone, we'll need to— Yamada-kun?"

Hizashi's head snapped up at the sound of his name, saliva dripping out of his mouth, foaming up slightly.

"Y-yes?" He said calmly, his eyes barely focused.

Nedzu backed up, putting space between Hizashi and himself. He knew what this looked like, if he was bitten it would affect him much faster than any human. As Rabies often did.

Hizashi looked confused, then angry. He launched himself at the small rat, missing barely only to snap back to himself. Tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Nedzu—? Why do you look so—" He gasped as it took back over. He yelled, his quirk carrying his voice pinning Nedzu to the wall.

The thing wearing Hisashi's face crawled over like a rabid animal. Still yelling until Nedzu was in his hands, biting down sharply on his neck, gnawing on the flesh.

Nedzu let out a scream of pain as his skin is torn. He shoved and struggled against Hizashi, His body too small, too weak to get away.

If felt like forever had passed before he let go, his jaw unclenching.

Nedzu took several deep breaths attempting to be calm about the Chunk missing from his shoulder, the adrenaline keeping him from feeling the pain. He watched as that…Thing began to wonder around the office and eventually leave. Recovery Girl still trashing by the radiator.

Her skin beginning to rot slowly.

He stood up, his suit ruined in blood. He stumbled out of his office, down the hallways following Hizashi. He couldn't stop himself, couldn't control himself. He let out a groan of pain as the burns began on his skin under the fur. He whimpers softly as he followed unwillingly. Captive yet again. This time in his own body.

Nedzu suddenly split off from Hizashi, turning down a corridor. He tried to scream tried to warn them, the students that he was heading towards. No sound came out of his mouth, his tears falling as he stumbled and walked.

He rushed towards them biting each one wherever he could, lunging from student to student, begging himself to stop as he did.

Hizashi kept walking, his target was already in sight. Midnight. She stood watching her phone, clearly waiting someone. She looked up to see Hizashi and smiled.

"Oh, finally you're here!" She paused, seeing the blood on his outfit, the way he walks too stiff. He grabbed her arms and looked her in the eyes, tears rolling down his face as he whispered.

"I…I am...so so sorry…" He bit down on her wrist, chewing on the flesh as the blood dripped onto the floor.

Nemuri screamed in pain, shoving Hizashi away from her, using her quirk. The smoke covering the area. She cradled her rapidly bleeding wrist as she tried to run, only for Hizashi to grab her, hugging her as he sobbed.

"Kayama." He mumbled into her, as she attempted to break free. She realised her quirk didn't work on him, not only that but he was not attacking.

Why. Why did he stop? Did he realise what he did and felt bad?

She let out a pained noise as they both collapsed on the ground. She pressed her face into his chest, putting pressure on her torn up wrist her hand no longer able to move.

She could hear the screams of the students, her students. curled up, she would die soon. He had bit through a lot of her arm. Bleeding out while her students are so close and in so much pain.

It felt like a lifetime had passed but it must have only been ten minutes, maybe less. No alarms had gone off. The other teachers are unaware. She wanted to move, wanted to run to Nedzu, maybe All Might. They'd know what to do surely. Surely.

Her eyes glazed over as she began to stand, blood still pouring out of her as she did, leaving a trial as she and Hizashi walked together, bodies stiff.

They stumbled down the hallways together, finding their way to the 1B classroom.

Shouta Aizawa stood at the desk in the corner, preparing for his lesson so he'd be able to sleep during the down time. He yawned as the door opened.

"Sit down and get ready for class." He said without turning around, assuming it was his students.

He only turned around when the dripping noise had yet to stop. Nemuri and Hizashi pressing forward, walking towards Aizawa.

Shouta stepped forward, attempting to grab Midnights bleeding wrist.

"What happened? I'll call Recovery Girl—Sit down both of you…" He then let out a harsh scream of pain, as both bit down on his arm. taking chunks of skin and flesh away from him.

He let out a yell, grabbing his arm and yanking it away from them both. Backing up slowly looking at door, that was behind his friends. The only way out.

He needed to get out, find Recovery Girl and see if she could fix them.

He grabbed his phone, calling Recovery Girl, then Nedzu. No one answered. He was being back against the wall, he couldn't attack Hizashi like that. Couldn't attack Nemuri like that. They can be cured; it's just a bite. Just a bite that burns like hell.

Shouta rushed pass them out of the door. The things paid no mind to him anymore. Running towards the teachers' lounge, his arm burned as he felt his saliva foam up in his mouth, dripping onto the floor as he ran. He needed to warn them; he needed to save his students.

He body began to slow despite his protests. He kept walking, refusing to stop. His mind becoming numb to his instructions. He wanted to yell, to scream but he couldn't.

He opened the door to a different classroom, Cementoss stood there watching him in shock, only to look past him. Midnight and Mic just behind him.

Snipe rushed into the teachers' lounge, blood covering him breathing heavily.

"I need you to do me a favour, I need you to take my gun and bullets, I need you to get anyone who has not been bitten out of the school. You're good at bring hope to people, keep doing it." He cried softly. taking the holster off his belt and strapping it to Toshinori. handing over all the ammo and the gun itself in the holster.

"What—why?" Yagi tried to stop but the way snipes voice sounded made him stop.

"Once someone is bitten, they're not themselves. They killed Cementoss. Midnight, Nedzu, Mic and Aizawa have been bitten along with many students." Snipe sobbed, hand digging into Toshinori’s shoulder.

"Is it is a quirk?" He asked, snipe shook his head.

"I don't know. All Might, if you see them tell my family I love them." Toshinori nodded as Snipe took off his mask, letting it drop to the floor. Toshinori picked it up attempting to put it back on, only for Snipe to push it away.

"I am so very sorry to ask this of you." He began again, giving a small smile as he did. "I need you to run. Grab what you need and run away, please." Snipe begged, his mouth beginning to foam up. He took out some hand cuffs he kept in one of his many pockets and attached one hand to a study looking desk.

Toshinori looked surprised, scared then determined.
He gave snipe a small hug before grabbing a bag, shoving his medications in there along with Snipes mask, the small med kit and then putting the ammo that wouldn't fit in his pockets.

He put the backpack on his back as Snipe began to violently tug at the desk, desperately trying to bite Yagi.

Toshinori rushed out of the door, shutting it behind him. Empty. The halls were so empty.

Confused he walked down the hallway to Recovery Girls' office. Her quirk might be able to help.

As he approached the door the smell of rot hit him.

He reached into the bag, snipes mask might help with the smell. The inside as spit where Snipes mouth must have foamed a little while inside.

He grabbed one of his handkerchiefs and wiped it down, getting rid of any trace of saliva.
He put it on, masking the smell just enough to stand it. Still, it made him want to throw up as he walked in.

The body on the bed a horrific sight. He moved quickly, grabbing medicines he and anyone else may need until his bag was full.

The body on the bed thrashed at its restraints, bandages beginning to tear as it did. He rushed out of the room, slamming the door shut as it rushed towards him. He breathed heavily. It didn't look like a person anyone.

Whoever that was he could only hope they didn't feel pain right now.

He carefully walked around, keeping his guard up. Trying to come to terms with what he saw. It was a student, The uniform still on the body was and indicator. It wasn't a hero student, at least, he hoped it wasn't. If it was Izuku, or Bakugo or any of 1A, 1B, what if it was Uraraka, what if…

He breathed heavily as he walked, keeping the mask still on. Rushing through the school, avoiding the hordes of students who had been bitten.

He felt the tears sting his eyes as he ran, out of breath so quickly, his only lung working overtime. He saw Aizawa walking slowly behind Hizashi and Nemuri all three covered on blood and cement. Yagi continues to move, holding back the urge to run towards his colleagues to save them.

Toshinori moved his legs even if he didn't want to. A thought crossed his mind.
What if he let them. What if he let them kill him, then he wouldn't have to watch more people suffer. He wouldn't have to think about how Izuku looks right now, how his students look. How Tuskauchi looks.

He kept running anyway. The halls covered in blood. It was so different from when he was younger, so different from yesterday even.

It was only early in the morning and yet it felt so dark.

Toshinori burst his way through the doors of the main UA building, running to the gate only to pause.

1A wasn't in lesson today. 1A had a day off to work on their projects.

They may have been spared.
