Captain Caviar Cookie left the life of a pirate long ago. He had been screwed over by the government back when the Creme Republic was still a monarchy infamous for its terrible decisions. He'd gladly stolen from the stuffy nobles and oligarchs for years, giving back to the people in secret. One day, however, a noble caught him. Her name was Oyster Cookie, and she didn't want him dead. She saw him going through her things and invited him for tea. The two had a long conversation about the monarchy and its flaws, and devised a plan to destroy it from the inside. When the plan worked and the Creme Kingdom became the Creme Republic, Captain Caviar wasn't sure what to do. Oyster Cookie took pity on him, making him head of the Republic's Navy, changing his life for the better.
And then Custard Cookie came along and ruined it, taking the Republic's democratic prowess and slowly but surely taking it apart. Now, Captain Caviar needs to quit the navy, get back into being an independent captain, get a new crew, and tear the Republic's corruption out from the inside. Hopefully he can do all of that while ignoring his crush best friend, Oyster Cookie. Now he just needs a crew.
