Chapter Text
“This is your last chance buddy.”
He had done it. He took over Spawn. He drove out the nuisance of a player that took Parrot’s crown from him. What was his name? Caparatah, or something like that. Nevermind that, he can now begin the preparations.
While writing some things down, Spoke thought about everything that had happened up until now. He became the leader of Null, he freed the people of Purgatory, he overthrew the “second king” of Unstable and chased him out, and Jamato was now his obedient prisoner. It wasn't as big as the other three, but the last recap was so satisfying to think about. JamatoP, the person who sacrificed so many people, to try and break him. And his ex-bestfriend.
Of course this ending was bittersweet, many people including friends were banned, Jumper betrayed his trust and is now nowhere to be seen, and Mapicc is missing. Not dead, Mapicc isn’t dead, there wasn’t a death message. Or those little wither sound effects. It wasn’t false hope. If he had to guess there was probably a place, like the farlands, under the Nether, or even the Void. It was unlikely the void itself, maybe it’s just a place under the Nether Void, not the Overworld. Well, that is not a risk he was going to take, but the Null guards knew something so he just let them do their thing.
Focusing back to the thing he was writing, he jotted down a few more things before scanning his surroundings, which was the throne room at Northern Council. This place was seemingly untouched by the fight for the crown, though he can’t say the same for Capital City, and the other places. Jamato told him about the Civil War. Speaking of him, Jamato was sitting uncomfortably at the far right of the meeting table, while Spoke was sitting on the “throne”. At least that’s what Parrot claimed it to be. Before he could make any more observations, a Null Commander had walked in. Commander “_” was now Spoke’s right hand man, and also the person who Spoke had sent to find Parrot.
“We’ve found the person you were looking for”
“Really? Wow, that was faster than I thought.” Spoke muttered.
“He was on the outer server, and he agreed to come if we showed him proof of what we claimed.”
“Huh? Oh yeah. The last time he saw me you guys were hunting me. Now suddenly I’m the leader.”
Spoke thought back to that moment, at this exact area. He still kinda holds a grudge against Parrot for that. But he could understand the pressure Parrot was under given what had happened. But, what was he doing on the outer server? Perhaps he was exiled, makes Spoke further regret not killing the culprit, and letting him run away.
“Spoke?”
He was pulled from his thoughts from _’s word.
“Oh yeah, umm. Give him this, and to everyone else I tell you to get, but focus on Parrot for now.”
He got up from his seat and gave _ a lighting shaped, rainbow charm.
This was something he gave to the many people close to him. He remembered making it with Jamato, giving it to Mapicc, and passing it out after the Law fight. He deemed everyone he gave this charm to someone close to him.
Given the command, the commander took his leave and the sound of a nether portal outside the room was heard. Spoke began walking back to his seat and on the way glanced at Jamato. Before, he was uninterested in the conversation, but Spoke noticed his gaze while he was talking about the charm. He was currently trying to avoid Spoke’s gaze. Does he still have the charm Spoke gave him? Who knows, probably not. There was no way someone like Jamato would hold on to the past. Though his little speech contradicted that.
Spoke didn’t particularly care about taking his charm back or anything. The people he gave them to would throw it out themselves anyways. If they kept them, that means they still consider Spoke a friend. However, by the effect of exploits in its making, the charm would crack and shatter if Spoke no longer considered them someone worthy of his care.
Spoke was at his seat by now, ignoring Jamato, and looking over his paper. Right, the preparations are almost completed. It’s time to begin the big Reunification.
