It was a hot day in Dreadlew, like any other day, you were sitting on your bed, waiting for Mardi to come back from Mardi Gras, you looked over at the clock, 12AM, he should’ve been back hours ago, oh god did he get hurt? Or worse, your mind started to race with all the worse possibilities then the door opened, revealing a disgruntled Mardi, his expression softened when he saw you.
“Where were you?” You asked.
“Taking care of some business, sorry it took so long.” He said, his voice somewhat starchy, as if he had done a lot of talking earlier.
He crawled on top of you, collapsing on you, trapping you under him and crushing you, causing the wind in your lungs to come out and leaving you slightly out of breath, Mardi of course didn’t notice, he was too busy nuzzling into your neck to notice.
“Mmm, you smell good.” He muttered, his beard tickling your skin, and you could feel the heat from his body.
“Mardi you’re crushing me!” You wheezed.
“Um, get use to it.” He said, lifting himself up a little bit so you could breathe, he still had you trapped under him.
“Yer so clingy!”
“I am not!” He protested, but made no effort to move himself away from you, he nuzzled into your neck even more somehow and started to kiss and nibble on it, you allow it because it felt quite nice.
"I love ya’.” He muttered, you barely caught what he said but you smiled.
“I love you too.” You whispered.
There was a peaceful silence between you two before you heard snoring, he must’ve fallen asleep, you sighed and laid there, making to attempt to move or even leave, it was comfortable.
