Summary

Set a handful of years after the events of Silver Flames and CC3 this story assumes that a war against the Asteri has been fought and won (no real spoilers for CC3). Beron remains High Lord of Autumn and Koschei is still trapped at the lake. Meanwhile the Inner Circle’s alliance with Eris still stands, putting Azriel in a very tricky position when he’s caught breaking through the wards into Eris’s private chambers one evening.
