Shang Qinghua transmigrates into his own terrible novel as a baby. The fact that this seems to be a world based on his first draft, where things actually happened and the plot did matter, is less than comforting. Having a second chance is nice, but ending up as cannon fodder and dying offscreen are the last things he wants to do. The only way to avoid his 'canonical' fate is to do as the System demands and try to fix his mistakes from within the world he created.
Somehow this ends up with a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Luo Binghe as an An Ding Peak disciple, because writing about a kid being miserable and seeing a kid being miserable are apparently two entirely different skillsets.

He wants to say all of those things but Derek looks him in the eyes and Stiles sees nothing in Derek’s gaze and his heart doesn’t break but it does implode, caves in on itself like a black hole, a deep infinite well of dark nothingness.

When Stiles realizes that he and Derek are soulmates who've lived countless lives together across all the planes of existence he's blown away. Until, that is, he realizes that Derek doesn't recognize him the way Stiles recognizes Derek and doesn't seem even remotely interested in trying to. Then he just does his best to hold on for as long as he can.

I was crying pretty much the whole time I was reading this. It has so many heartbreaking moments that emotionally eviscerated me. I honestly hope Peter can find something to help him because I quite frankly think that Derek doesn't deserve Stiles after what he put and is still putting him through. -

What an absolute legend.
I love Tim's slow decent into grey morality. Over the course of five years he slowly, slowly looses bits of himself even when choosing the lesser of two evils. This honestly reminded me of pongnosis' Devil and the Deep Blue Sea because they both have a lot of the same themes and I love them all the more for it.

“That was kind of rude, Mr. Malfoy, but it’s okay! I always thought you high-class types preached bout manners, but obviously, it must be an exaggeration!”
Lucius’ cheeks pinked as his scowl darkened, but George didn’t notice as she barrelled on. “It’s alright, though! You don’t need to worry too much about that! Even if you’re kind of ugly on the inside, at least you’re absolutely gorgeous on the outside!”
Everybody just stared at her as she beamed up Lucius. Behind her, Freddie was wheezing.
George lost interest in their blank looks and found Draco gaping at her like a fish. She turned the full force of her smile onto him.
“Imagine if you grew up this pretty, Draco, you’d have all the girls falling over you! That’d be splendid, haha!”
Draco turned an alarming shade of red and looked like he was about to have a stroke, but George turned back to Lucius and grasped his hand. Oooh, it was very soft, probably because of all the fancy hand creams he slathered on.
“It was very nice to meet you, Mr. Malfoy! Hopefully next time you won’t be such a wanker!” She smiled genuinely up at him and shook his hand before she released him and turned around to her choking twin. He looked like he was about to explode from mirth.
