"..Home-" Hawks' breathing was laboured, every breath sounding painful. He definitely had broken ribs.
"Yeah baby- gotta get you to the villa, then we can go home." The nickname slipped out before he could stop it, and it made Hawks dig his face further into his neck.
"W-With you-" He warbled.

Summary
The HPSC president is dead. Hawks stands in the League of Villains’ hideout, holding out her severed hand to Shigaraki like a twisted peace offering. He’s not here as a spy anymore—he’s here because he wants to be, because he’s ready to abandon the hero life and desperate to find a place in their flock.
Every spring, the HPSC pumped him full of drugs to suppress the instincts clawing and begging to be heard. Now, with no such thing, no leash, and no control, he’s about to face his first rut free from the cage he'd been in for so long. All while surrounded by people who see him for what he is and keep him anyway, even when it’s bloody, wild, and dangerous.
And somewhere in the haze of instincts and heat, his bird-brain has already chosen a mate. Dabi—claimed without either of them realizing it.
