Summary
Humanity failed to stop the Night King and his legion of undead until it was too late. The displeased Gods decide it should take a greater role in the fate of humanity and wind back to a time before the world fell apart. Jon Snow, the Prince Who Was Promised, and Jaime Lannister are sent back to prevent The War of the Five Kings and unite Westeros under a single banner to avoid a terrible fate. Even with the advantage of hindsight, things never go as planned.

Summary
It didn't happen that way. In fact, it could happen so many different ways. Stannis Baratheon deserves better. So does Shireen. So did the watchers and book readers.
Seventeen different endings. I think I might stop here. I have a couple more ideas, but they are resisting completion, so perhaps they aren't that good.

Summary
Ned Stark arrived at the Tower of Joy to find his sister dead in a bed of blood, and the murdered corpses of the King's Guard. He goes home to the North with her body, and her alone. In Dorne, Oberyn Martell raises his bastard son, Jon, with dreams of vengeance, and his family's rightful throne. Nineteen years later, Jon Sand is sent by his uncle to offer an alliance to King Robb Stark between the North and Dorne, but this could tear holes into all of the Martell's carefully laid plans.

Summary
Arthur Dayne realizes he can’t kill the man his sister loves, even when he has the man on the ground. Ashara Dayne is not going to allow her best friend’s child to die. Oberyn Martell is not allowing any more children to die in this war, especially those whose mothers his sister loved. Things spiral from there, really.
--
“Give me that,” Ashara snaps, and pries the child away from the other Northman, whose name she will later learn is Reed. To Arthur, she says, “when did he last eat?”
Arthur tells her, and before Ashara’s modesty can get the better of her, she is pulling her left arm from its sleeve, allowing the front of her dress to drop, and holding the baby in place. There is a tense moment of nothing, and then he latches on and Ashara almost cries. Eddard and Arthur are both staring at her like a woman possessed. Reed’s eyes are firmly fixed on the floor.

Summary
Jaime didn’t like the Starks at all. He didn’t like their earnestness and honesty and prudishness, he didn’t like their cold heavy-walled castle, he didn’t like their frozen block of a realm, and he especially didn’t like Robb Stark, who had saved his son’s life and been kind to him and got him to sleep, and what business of his was it to have done any of those things?
