Danny runs into some astronauts from NASA’s lunar mission while trying to do his homework on the moon. This leads to new friends, a new job, and eventually to Danny finding a place for himself out among the stars.
Also, Danny gets to be a gremlin in space.
“Well,” Watkins drew the word out on a sigh as she slumped against the doorframe. “We didn’t cover this in training.”
Cecilia found her eyes trained on the spot where Danny had just walked through the wall. Like a— “Is the moon haunted?!”
Watkins was silent for a long while, and when Cecilia finally managed to tear her eyes away from the wall and look at her colleague, she found her frowning at the com. "…Who's going to tell the commander?"

Maddie and Jack are ready to support Danny now that he's become a half-human, even though he's not ready to talk to them about it yet. He's so lucky that he has such observant and caring parents! They'll do anything they can to make sure he feels accepted and that he knows they love him no matter what, especially since turning into a werewolf must have been so scary.

Sam turned back to her friends, a sheepish smile on her face. She prepared herself for the barrage of questions about to be thrown her way—questions such as what? and since when can you do that? and there’s a plant that can repel ghosts?
She was not prepared to find Danny collapsed onto the ground, nails digging crescents into his arms and writhing in pain.
When Sam—closeted witch extraordinaire—found herself and her friends cornered by a ghost, she had no choice but to reveal her nature magic and grow a protective barrier of blood blossoms.
Too bad one of her friends forgot to mention he was actually a closeted half-ghost.

Amity Park: A Great Place To Live

Amity Park is a small town, haunted but still small. Everyone seems to know each other, and they all know what to avoid. The Fenton parents, ghosts, and going out into the corn alone.

There are a few good reasons that ghost hunters and supernatural fanatics come to Amity Park, but here are the rules that any local knows by heart.

3) Those Outside
Outside of Amity, people talk about their experiences with the strange town they had seen. They speculate about the specter of a town hero, about the things that go on in town, and about if Amity park is actually a real place

Something was deeply wrong with her son, Maddie knows.
(What mother wants to find out her child is not right? Is he a doppelganger or dead? Both options made her want to throw up in her mouth.)
