The man; the myth, the legend; the grumpy old man who wouldn’t know love if it kicked him hard and straight up the hiney.
Gabriel had a number of issues in his life, but the worst one goes by the name Marinette Dupain-Cheng; his son's girlfriend and the younger Agreste’s self claimed ‘love of his life’. In Gabriel’s eyes Marinette has a mission, and that mission is to take everything the Agreste’s have worked hard for.
One thing was for certain, he wasn’t going down without a fight; and if his ship did finally sink he was dragging Marinette down with him.

Marinette wasn’t exactly sure how she started the morning bumbling and squabbling over her crush like normal only to playfully banter rather suggestive material with him just 30 minutes later, but it was happening and she didn’t know how to feel about it.
Meanwhile the entire class is sputtering over the fact that sweet, doe-eyed Marinette and sunshine child Agreste were casually chatting about leather kinks- and were those cat puns?
And all over a little competition.
(aka another P.E. shenanigans story- yes I went with the Marinette-is-secretly-super-athletic-and-buff trope shhhhh)
