Finn Centric Recommendations
Finn Centric Recommendations (or Finn Recs: A Star Wars Collection) is a Archive of Our Own collection dedicated Star Wars collection predominantly focused on stories about Finn (FN-2187) from the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker) which began in 2015 and ended in 2019.
The Star Wars fanfiction subset is unsurprisingly bereft of literature that treats Finn like a fully dimensional human being, and doesn't reduce him solely to an object in a ship where their favorite character (typically Poe Dameron or Rey) is the real center of attention. This has only gotten worse since 2017. Fics will most likely taper off now that the trilogy has ended with Finn unrealized as a character, but I know there are Finn Stans out there writing the best fics for the character around, so I would urge you to please submit your works here for people to read and enjoy.
Recommendations were posted on the tumblr blog @hisnameisfinn before its deletion in 2018. Despite the deletion of the blog on tumblr, we still accept submissions that follow the guideline: Stories are focused on Finn (FN-2187), be they romantic or otherwise.
