Summary
When Halbrand stumbles into her bar, Galadriel cannot deny the attraction between them. She has a rule about not sleeping with customers, but perhaps she can make an exception for this dangerous man with a secret past. With the threat of the mafia looming, will Halbrand be the ally she needs or will his darkness corrupt them both?

She couldn’t afford any distractions right now, however…and Halbrand was most definitely distracting.
“I don’t sleep with customers,” she told him, trying to maintain a professional tone.
Halbrand was unphased by this statement. “It’s a good thing I haven’t paid for this drink then,” he mused, holding his glass aloft.
Galadriel’s frown faltered, the corners of her mouth quirking up. “I don’t sleep with thieves either.”
Halbrand’s low chuckle sent a ripple of arousal through her body, a sudden heat pooling between her thighs. He tossed back the rest of his drink, tongue swiping across his lower lip to capture an errant drop of liquor.
“Then I guess I’ll have to buy a second drink…” he murmured. He pulled a wad of cash from his pocket, placing a large bill on the counter with a smirk. “...if I want to continue to enjoy the pleasure of your company.”

Summary
The moment his sentence was handed down – Halbrand “Sauron” Maia, guilty, life plus 30 years — brought up on RICO charges, 14-counts of conspiracy to commit murder and racketeering. It would have been a death sentence to anyone else. Hell, moments after the verdict was read in a federal courthouse in Brooklyn, hundreds of his supporters stormed the building, overturned furniture, a wave of riots in the streets, smashing cars and storefront windows, violently being forced back by police reinforcements.
But the moment of his sentencing? His green eyes had cut to hers — unflinching, direct. He’d looked across the crowded courthouse directly to the person who’d landed him in prison, and he hadn’t looked angry either. Face stoic, not a glimpse of any hidden turmoil, not even one of accusation that he could have so easily aimed at her. She watched him get handcuffed and marched away, and he didn’t break eye-contact until he’d been physically forced to, turning away only when the guards paraded him out of the room to the sound of clicking cameras.
It was real Alpha shit, Galadriel knew.

Summary
The DEA does next to nothing after Galadriel's brother Finrod is murdered after the resurgence of the Darkness Cartel in southern New Mexico. With few leads and even less hope, she scours local records to try and discover Morgoth's successor who she suspects is using the reintroduced wild Lobos as cover for their underground operation. Drowning in despair, she bumps into Halbrand at a coffee shop.
Nine months later, Detective Elrond Peredhil combs what little they have on file as he opens a missing persons case for Galadriel Noldor.
