He rounded the corner towards the square right in front of the Temple– it was different than before because there had never been a square in front of the Temple.
Obi-Wan froze in place the moment he looked up. His eyes observed the large statues one by one.
Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto– they were all Councillors during the War.
Obi-Wan stood in front of the statues as tears welled up in his eyes. He hadn’t seen them in a long time and these statues looked exactly like them. From facial features and expression down to the way they were seated– as if they were in a regular Council meeting.
“Look Uncle Ben! It’s–” Obi-Wan leaped to Luke and covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
“Yes, I see, it’s General Kenobi.” He hoped the beings whose attention was drawn towards them would move on quickly. “But try not to shout, Luke, alright?”
His eyes left the boy to observe the statue of himself.

Or in which the Clones take over the Empire and Obi-Wan hears rumours about the whole ordeal which causes him to head back to Coruscant.

“We're landing! Senator Palpatine is waiting at the hangar,” one of the security guards cried out.
Obi-Wan and Anakin shared a glance at that name, and Anakin jumped to the floor. He flexed his arms and legs, seemingly fascinated with his own fingers.
“You’re in?” Anakin asked.
And, well, Obi-Wan had killed one Sith already; what was one more? Surely nothing bad could come from killing Palpatine.
“Sure,” he found himself agreeing.
Or: Fresh after killing Darth Sidious on the Death Star, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi find themselves back in time to their first meeting in The Phantom Menace.

Something is off about Ilya and Shane cares about him.
"Shane slipped out into the freezing air. He took a deep breath, his eyes scanning for familiar Russian curls shimmering under the streetlights.
There he was. Leaning against a wall, in a lone corner looking a little forlorn and… he was smoking. Shane was reminded of their first meeting so many years ago. Also out in the cold. Ilya smoking, and him awkwardly shuffling toward him. But something still was off.
“I thought you quit?” he asked with a small smile and a soft voice as he stepped even closer, Ilya looked up at him. His eyes were slightly unfocused. Dazed? A little glassy.
Ilya’s lips twitched and tried to get into that familiar smirk, but it didn’t quite get to that.
“I did.” His voice was a little husky as he blew the smoke into the cold air."
