or, house is kidnapped by an agitated father, desperate for a diagnosis for his ailing daughter. whilst house works against the clock (and his addiction) to find the answer, his friends back at princeton plainsboro are desperately searching for him. the father gives house a whiteboard, a burner phone and ten days. if he doesn't have a diagnosis by the end, then, well...
let's just say it could all go up in smoke

It was past midnight when Wilson arrived, and House’s team had all left hours before. Cameron was the last to go, shooting House a pitying look as she pulled her coat on, but House had ignored her.
A Wilson who’s been dating House for years doesn’t work at Princeton-Plainsboro. It takes House’s team years to find out that their boss is dating someone, let alone who, but they see more of the relationship than they know.

Summary
It's St. Patrick's Day, 2000. The river is green. House has been sleeping in Wilson's apartment every weekend since February. Wilson has been buying two coffees every morning for a month. There is a blue toothbrush in the bathroom cabinet. Nobody has said anything about any of this.
Wilson is going to write it down instead.
A found-documents fic told entirely through parking logs, loyalty cards, unsent emails, pager messages, browser history, and the private notebook Wilson buys at 11:14 PM and plans to give to House at Easter. House is exhausted. Wilson is done watching him pretend he’s not.
After a brutal day at the hospital, House expects to sulk, self-medicate, and wallow in peace. What he doesn’t expect is Wilson taking over—ordering dinner, giving orders, and touching him like he means it. It’s tender, it’s infuriating, and worse: House might actually like it.
Just for tonight, he lets Wilson take control. Just for tonight… he rests.
