Summary
In the aftermath of the war, Hermione Granger is still haunted by ghosts that refuse to stay buried. She clings to routine. Her work as an Auror, specializing in dark magic investigations, is the closest thing to purpose she’s found since the world nearly ended.
But when whispers of a Death Eater resurgence begin to circulate through the Ministry, routine quickly turns to danger. Assigned to re-examine sites once cleared of dark magic, Hermione is sent into the field to confirm what everyone hopes isn’t true.
During what should be a standard inspection, she’s ambushed.
Outnumbered and unprepared, Hermione is certain it’s over.
Until she’s saved by the last person she ever expected:

Summary
Draco is constantly being reminded of his obligation as the last remaining male Malfoy. With his father still imprisoned in Azkaban and his 27th birthday coming up (in like 2 years Mother!), the pressure to marry was immense. The problem is the one he wants has always been out of his reach... but recent developments may be bringing her closer than ever.
Hermione is perfectly happy with her current state of affairs. She has just moved into her new research position in the Department of Mysteries. Her primary male companion may be a grumpy old half-kneazle but at least she isn’t spending her spare time trying to explain her work or the importance of picking up after oneself to some medium ugly man. Would she like some intelligent conversation every once in awhile? Someone to pluck the errant cat hair off the back of her new robes? Sure. But she won’t be settling and she won’t be out chasing some man. It will happen when it happens.
Narcissa just wants her son happy. She knows he will be happiest if he would just do as she says….

Summary
Book Four: Axiom
[A statement or proposition which is regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true.]The long and brutal war has finally ended, with the Order of the Phoenix triumphing over Lord Voldemort – but the conflict has left the wizarding world wounded and scarred, everything in disarray.
In the wake of the victory, Draco and Hermione’s celebration is made bittersweet by grief, and tempered by uncertainty for the future as they try to navigate the aftermath of the war, and find a way to carve out a life for themselves in a peacetime that now feels foreign. Coping with trauma, incipient parenthood, and the condemnation of the wider wizarding world for Draco’s actions during the war may prove to be much harder than they ever expected.
But as long as they have each other, they can survive anything…
