    There’s an art to taking and sending a dick pic.  The angle at which it’s shot, the lighting, the accessories shown alongside it, and even the background in the picture can tell you a lot about the intentions behind such a shot.  Roy would know; he’s very well practiced at the art of the dick pic.  Which is good for Jason, who’s entering the world of dick pics for the first time.  Unfortunately for Jason, Roy’s pretty sure Jason’s first ever dick pic translates to Deathstroke wanting to kill him.

    Jason opens the door, stepping out of the booth like someone emerging from purgatory. His eyes are red-rimmed, and too sharp. Too tired. Too green, where the blue should be.

    “Doesn’t it ever piss you off?” he asks suddenly. “That people like me are expected to come back from things like that and still be good?”
    Slade looks at him for a long moment. “You came back. That was enough.”

    Their eyes meet, and it steadies something in Jason’s chest. A moment’s respite, from being a monster.
    “Let’s get back to it.”
