Summary
Jason tilts his head questingly, “What’s got ya’ so wrathful, Baby Bird?”
Tim doesn’t deign to respond. His heart is still pounding like a jackhammer in his chest.
What doesn’t make him feel wrathful? Now that he’s given in before, who’s to say he won’t again? It’s taking over his life.
“You know, you taste like other sins too,” Jason continues after he’s met with silence. His tone is thoughtful, “Greed… Envy… Lust.”
Red Hood puts too much emphasis on the last sin, as if alluding to something in particular. That choice does nothing to support Tim’s hyper pulse.
“I’m sure any human would have a few sins.” Timothy responds, feigning nonchalance.
“They don’t cling to most like they do to you. Sin wants you…” Jason reaches out a hand for Tim to take. Red Robin does, stifling a groan as he’s pulled into an upright sitting position, face to face with the other who adds, “I can relate. You’re a special kind of temptation, Red.”
AKA: Jason is Demon-Raised (info in notes) and Tim is just trying not to get possessed.

Hood followed his gaze to a pink, round bug about the size of his palm clinging to the side of the wall. Its wings fluttered as it hopped to a different vine, letting Hood realize it wasn’t fully round. It was heart shaped, each wing forming a half. There was a hard shininess to the wings, like they were lacquered. It almost looked like a ladybug, rose pink instead of red. The beetle nosed its head under one of the leaves, lifting it up to reveal a second bug. Jason inhaled as the slightly smaller beetle crawled closer to the first one.
Robin cursed. “Keep away from it,” he snapped, grabbing Hood’s arm and yanking him back.
“Fuck off, it’s not like I’m not gonna touch it,” Hood sneered and shook him off. He paused, realizing that if Robin had been able to pull him back, he must have stepped forward without meaning to.Written For JayTim Week 2026, Day 6: Protective

Jason was shivering.
Tim kept glancing over at him, muttering more spells under his breath as he spun his hands over the small cauldron. Jason had been in and out for a while, the magically induced fever the sorcerer had put him under doing strange things to his body. Tim had never seen anything like it before, and it was making him nervous.
Jason’s back arched as he groaned in pain. Tim stopped his magic quickly, leaning over to hold him down. Jason whimpered, and Tim grimaced in sympathy. He reached over to the small dish of ice water on the bedside table, imbuing some more of his healing magic into the water as he twirled the cloth around the bowl before lifting it and squeezing some of the water out. He gently dabbed away the sweat beading at Jason’s temples, making soft noises he hoped were soothing, before letting the cloth rest on his forehead.Written For JayTim Week 2026, Day 3: Magic, Bed Sharing

“Ugh!” Tim exclaimed, stepping back from the door. Jason fell forward due to how quickly and unexpectedly the door was able to move freely again. He heard something snap and flap as his knees hit Tim’s carpet. “It’s me, I just got hit with a spell and look ridiculous right now.”
Jason looked up, eyes widening as he saw the long, feathered wings that were tucked into themselves behind Tim’s back. Jason’s mouth dropped open, the sunlight streaming in from Tim’s windows backlighting him and causing a halo effect. Ridiculous was hardly the word Jason would reach for to describe Tim’s current state. Angelic and ethereal and incandescent were all significantly more appropriate.
Tim crossed his arms, his wings tightening up further behind him, “Do not make fun of me right now. If you-”
“How’d this happen?” Jason asked, his voice breathy even in his own ears. He swallowed, his mouth suddenly dry.
