“Killing people is easy,” Ajax replied. “And I happen to be good at it. Now keeping people alive. Keeping people happy. That’s a tall order, alright, but that’s what your nature says you should do, doesn’t it?”
“I am more than just impulse,” Neuvillette pointed out. “And I suspect, so are you.”

“You know what you need, Lighter?”
Lighter slams his wrench down on the bench in an effort to not throw the tool across the garage at his boss. If one more person tells him that he seems pent up and needs to blow off some steam he’s going to lose it. Which might point to the fact that they’re right, but he’s not about to admit that.
But the way Caesar is looking at him is the last straw. That last thread of self-control snaps, and his exasperation gets the better of him.
“If one more fucking person tells me I need to get my dick wet–”
Or, Lighter tries to quit smoking and finds himself addicted to something (someone) else.

Von Lycaon of Victoria's Housekeeping Services has had plenty of reasons to call upon the talents of Phaethon, renowned Proxy and Hollow Navigator. Their relationship has been punctual, professional, and skin deep, which is how these things ought to be. However, when Phaethon calls upon Von Lycaon for assistance, their relationship takes a turn toward the personal. Both agents struggle to maintain a professional connection as the work-life balance becomes jeopardized.

Roxas did grow up a fair bit, but Axel is still taller than he is. He’s also much slimmer. Roxas is broader in the chest and shoulders. As a result, the sweatpants he’s wearing right now are dragging a little on the floor, although not enough to justify rolling them up. But what truly gets to Axel, squeezing his throat so he can’t find his words, is how tight his tank top is on Roxas. He couldn’t see anything of his body as he was dressed before, buried in the depth of his baggy clothes, but he sees it all now. Past the surprisingly wide chest - the fabric is going through it, Axel thinks he’s gonna tell Roxas to keep that one - muscled shoulders and snatched waist, the younger man has arms for days .
His wet, flattened hair is sticking to his skin in places, and it somehow underlines the more angulous lines of his face. Is it because he’s out of his sea of clothes, is it because of the nonchalant vibe he’s giving off right now or is it because of the things they just did together? Roxas looks older to him now than he ever did before.
He certainly looks like someone who got exactly what they wanted. Perhaps that’s why he looks so laid back now, so relaxed as he stands barefoot on Axel’s wooden floor.
