It's been two months since Loki's official integration to SHIELD as a consultant, and someone jokingly writes on the general announcements board:
S.H.I.E.L.D. PRIORITY PROTOCOL FOR EMERGENCIES INVOLVING IMPOSSIBLE INCIDENTS:
1. Blame LokiNo one disagrees and it becomes another of SHIELD's unofficial rules.
Or, Loki is taken in by SHIELD after his fall from the Bifrost lands him on Earth, and he proceeds to show everyone, constantly, why he deserves the title ‘God of Mischief’. Fury is not amused. Neither is everybody else at SHIELD, except maybe Barton.

Summary
When a grounded, non-psychotic break version of Loki discovers the cold truth about himself, he bends rather than breaks. Now living life on his own terms he arrives on Midgard only to discover that his excellently laid plans are in for some hair-pin curves.
Will he be able to rehabilitate SHIELD before HYDRA takes over? Will Darcy manage to establish an Asgardian Embassy without utterly alienating the G8 or accidentally kicking off nuclear warfare? “Mr. Loki?” asked the Spider cautiously. “Aren’t you—like—a bad guy?” he asked, voice full of only curiosity, as far as Loki could tell.
His first thought was, yes.
His second thought was no.
His third thought was, sometimes?
“It varies from moment to moment,” Loki answered honestly, prying his eyes open after they threatened to fall close.
“But on a scale of one to ten, where are you at right now?”
“Maybe a three?”
The Spider-child nodded. “Cool,” he replied. “Let me know if it gets above a six.
Or: Five times Peter Parker was there for Loki when it 'got above a six', and one time he wasn’t.
