Summary
Harry Potter was very lonely. Yes, he had friends, a good job, and just finished his mastery in defense, but it was usually just him and his son all alone at night when everyone else had families and lives apart from them. When he learned by chance that he may actually have some living family, it should have been an easy decision to reach out to them. Unfortunately, nothing comes easily to Harry. Harry's biological father just had to be the most difficult person in the world to get a meeting to see, and the absolutely most suspicious when confronted with a paternity claim.
Tony Stark was very lonely. He and Pepper had recently broken up. His friends had betrayed him, and he was now forced to live with the very same people who had hurt him. He didn't think he could take one more blow and stay standing under it. Tony didn't have family; he didn't know what to do with family; too bad Tony's family wasn't sure what to do with him either, but they were going to give it a hell of a try anyway.

“Michael,” the guy says suddenly. Peter looked up at the sound of his voice, but he didn’t hear him quite clearly.
He pulls an earbud out of his ear. “What?”
The guy—Michael, apparently—clears his throat. “My name is Michael,” he doesn’t look at Peter as he speaks, he’s scribbling something on his notebook instead.
“Oh,” Peter breathes out. He didn’t expect the guy to introduce himself. “I’m Peter.”
“I know who you are.”

Summary
When Peter first saw the news headline, his stomach dropped to the vicinity of his toes. 'Tony Stark's Secret Son' it proclaimed. 'Images leaked of Tony with Teen.'
When the first photo was shown, Peter's first reaction was relief. The kid on the screen wasn't Peter. His identity was safe. Then came something like jealousy, a bitter flavour to it. He wondered whether Tony would still want to hang out with him, now that he had a real son.
Why couldn't he just feel happy for Mr Stark?

Hopeful and motivated, his brain is racing with plans even before he’s pulled himself out of his universe’s giant, fallen shield-free version of New York Harbor. By the time he’s back to his undecorated, barely furnished studio apartment, he’s composed a to-do list in his head. It’s not specific enough to be called a plan—just goals, small and large, mostly vague, probably all of them too ambitious—but Peter feels good today, high off a fight that ended well and a comradery he hasn’t had in years. He’s sad it was all over so quickly, but he’s home now, feeling alive. Feeling ready.
Peter knows, with a certainty he’s never felt before, that his life could be different.
Peter 3 attempts to get his life back on track, and falls in love in the process.
