Liam huffs in amusement, eyes flitting over to Theo as a tiny smirk tugs at the corner of his lips, and Theo has to focus to pull his eyes away from it. “Funny way of saying you missed me.”
And the pressure that had been crushing Theo’s chest since Liam had punched his arm lifts at that, and he rolls his eyes. “Not what I said.”
“You said it was boring,” Liam retorts, a toothy grin on his face as they both move away from the moment of fragile hesitation and settle back into their usual banter. “All I’m hearing is that it was boring because I wasn’t there, so. You missed me.”
Theo lets his lips tilt up into a half-smile as he presses the two walls that he’s holding together. “You’re so fucking full of yourself.”
Liam’s smirk widens as his eyes brighten even more. “Are you saying you’d wanna be full of me instead?”
