The Wixen world is run by powerful witches called Queen's and their courts, surrounded by a traditional pagan society. They control the magical world and all that live in it.
But things are stirring, and coming out of the shadows. The Aos Sí, the dangerous Fae who were once worshiped as gods are not as gone and faded into myth as the Wixen world hopes.
Hermione boards the Hogwarts express ignorant of any of this. She is going to have to learn and learn fast.
For the courts, society, and the Fae will not go easier on her because of her disadvantage of muggle up bringing.
No it will be quiet the opposite.She is going to have to use every bit of her intelligence to help her as she fights to understand this culture, protects and stop other queens from stealing the males that belong to her, figure out why on earth the Fae are so interested in her.
Helped along the way by two boys, one famous the other half feral. Plus a reluctant sixth year Slytherin and a thoroughly bemused Potion Master.
All before finally take her rightful place in this brave new world.

Summary
Lord Voldemort rose from the cauldron, reborn once more. He looked towards his so called conquer then stooped shocked, this? This was the boy-who-lived? This tiny skinny little child? Where was the pampered Prince? The Gryffindor golden boy? This was not what he expected at all.
When Voldemort is reborn at the end of Harry’s fourth year, he is surprised at the sight of the tiny malnourished child glaring defiantly up at him. Instead of attacking he sets out to understand who exactly this child is and why he feels such a pull towards him. Harry on the other hand is completely overwhelmed as the foretold evilest of all evil ends up giving him better care and treatment then he every received from the Light. Still it's going to be a long road to recovery, after all there is fourteen years of conditioning and mistreatment to heal from.

Harry Potter really didn’t plan on living past his fated confrontation with Lord Voldemort. When the latent basilisk venom and phoenix tears in his blood started making dramatic changes to his body, he wasn’t that concerned. It’s not like he was going to live long enough for it to be a problem anyway.
Even if he had planned to live past the final battle, then he could never have guessed the struggle awaiting him on the other side, or that he’d become a magnet for those with nowhere else to go like the snarky house elf, the grumpy phoenix, the injured vampire, or the stray werewolf that showed up on their doorstep…oh, and the egg.
