About Prompted Original Work Bookmarks (PromptedOriginalWorkBookmarks)
Navigation
Intro:
The goal of this collection is to have the original prompted relationship shown in the bookmark tags on prompted Original Work. No recommendation, endorsement, judgment, or criticism should be implied by the inclusion in this collection. Inclusion in this collection means only that the work was prompted.
Any prompted Original Work story can be added to this collection by the original author, or as a bookmark by anyone. If the relationship is not clearly shown in the tags in "Character Type A/Character Type B" format, the work or bookmark will be rejected and the collection maintainer will add the work as a bookmark with the prompted relationship tag.
Works will never be added to this collection by the maintainer in a way that would show up in the metadata.

FAQ:
What is the criteria for inclusion in this bookmark collection?
1. The work was prompted in a gift exchange and is still in the exchange collection.
2. The work was prompted in a prompt or kink meme on AO3What does it mean that the works are bookmarked in a collection?
Think of an AO3 bookmark like a note to yourself about which book had the story or picture you liked. You want to remember where it was, and in which book (collection).
The addition of a bookmarker's tag is the note about what the story or picture was about. It reminds you what that bookmark was for, and on the AO3, you can search through those tags to find what you are looking for.
A bookmark collection is the folder where all those notes are collected. Why can't I control who bookmarks my work into a collection when I can control whether my work is added to a collection?
The AO3 is an Archive, which has tools for users to make lists, links, and recommendations for works both on and off the site. Bookmarking does nothing to the metadata of the work, nor does it give any permission to the visibility of the work. You can't control who bookmarks your work personally, and as explained above, the collection does nothing except puts that bookmark into a folder with other bookmarks. No works are "in" this collection that were not put there by their authors, this collection merely acts as a reference for the works bookmarked in it.I found an incorrect bookmark tag. How can I tell you about the correct tag?
You can bookmark the work into the collection with the correct tag, and the maintainer will update the tag on the collection bookmark when they review the submission. What should I do if I don't want my work bookmarked in this collection?
You can Mute the Prompted_OW_Bookmarks user from the user page if you are bothered by the bookmarks on your work. Muting that account will remove your ability to see that user's bookmarks.
