Summary
Hitoshi knew he had disappointed Aizawa, he had seen it on his face. The whole training session was a disaster, Hitoshi was so tired that he was practically stumbling over his own feet and his distracted mind didn’t help either.
He wanted to tell Aizawa everything that was wrong. He wanted to tell him about Ikeda, about the sleepless nights, about the muzzle and the convenience store job, about Aiko and about everything but he couldn’t.
Hitoshi couldn’t risk it. He can already imagine Aizawa dropping him from training. A villain trying so hard to be a hero. A pathetic teenage boy who can barely protect someone he loves against one person? Why should he train someone like that?
OR in which Shinsou gains hope, loses it and then everything goes to shit. Not necessarily in that order.

“You don’t like the Present Mic persona, I get that. But now that you’ve pushed my buttons enough, I’m sure you’re ready to hear what kind of predicament we’re actually in.” His tone is low, something below even the usual Yamada Hizashi. He hopes it convinces Shinsou to take his words seriously. “Sit down with me. And don’t worry about anyone coming through that door, I don’t expect them to for a while, because their concern isn’t actually with us.”
The two of them sit in their usual spots, legs criss-crossed beneath them with arms crossed over one another for warmth. Hizashi watches the tremors that wrack Shinsou’s body match his own. The temperature in the room is dropping- and quick.
“Whoever did this is much more concerned with getting their hands on Eraserhead. We’re just the bait. And the fact that neither of us are tied up or muzzled tells me that we must be the least intimidating bait on the planet to them.”

Quirkless, young adult Midoriya Izuku has a problem. Namely, he has a crush on his purple haired, tired-looking neighbor. They keep running into each other and the guy is actually pretty nice under that deadpan facade, has a sense of humor, doesn't seem to judge anyone for their quirk status, and is constantly spoiling any cat in the building that finds him. (He's also a shameless flirt.)
But Izuku has concerns. About the strange bruises and bloodied knuckles. About the weapons he's seen when stopping by for a cup of sugar. About the shady-looking figures he's accidentally spotted his neighbor meeting with. About the fact that right after the news reported a big crime bust, his neighbor came home beat all to hell and looking haunted.
Izuku has a problem. Namely, he has a crush on his neighbor, who he's pretty sure is secretly a villain. And he has no idea what to do with that.

Shinsou's life is fine with an aunt who somehow tolerates him, crappy school mates, and cigarettes keeping him alive. But then it isn't fine. He's removed from his aunt's house to live with these two assholes who won't stop breathing down his neck all "worried" about him. He just wants to light a cig, get the fuck away from them, breathe, and put it back out on his villainous skin.

He wasn’t sure, but he’d already pressed the Call button.
It rang three times. Aizawa was probably on patrol anyway, or asleep. Either way, he wouldn’t answer his phone.
The ringing stopped.
“Shinsou?” Aizawa’s voice was low, heavy with the dregs of sleep. “What is it?”
“I’m sorry. You were asleep.” Hitoshi could have kicked himself. Of course Aizawa was asleep: it was one in the morning, what was he thinking—
“It’s okay,” Aizawa said, interrupting Hitoshi’s rapidly spiralling thoughts. “I wasn’t really. I drifted off grading papers.” There was a noise on the other end of the line, like Aizawa was now in motion.
“What’s going on?” Aizawa still sounded tired, but there was an alertness to his voice that hadn’t been there before.
“Uh.” Shit. What was Hitoshi supposed to say to that? “Nothing.”
Definitely not that.
Or, Hitoshi is in a bad situation. Aizawa is going to help, whether Hitoshi wants him to or not.

Upon first glance, the park seems empty and devoid of any people whatsoever. Shouta walks through slowly, eyes open for anything out of place. It’s as he’s walking to the nearest bin that he sees movement out of the corner of his eye. There, laying on one of the benches deeper into the park, is a kid. A teenager, if the way they take up the whole bench is anything to go by. Shouta is a few feet away when the kid shifts, trying in vain to get their lanky form comfortable on the too-small bench, and the hood they have pulled over their head shifts, ever so slightly, revealing a shock of purple hair.
Or, Aizawa finds Shinsou sleeping in a park after getting locked out of his foster home. Aizawa takes issue with this.

Bakugou Katsuki is not a fan of the whole soulmates thing.
There are several reasons for it, really. It’s stupid to guage who your life partner would be off marks on your skin. It’s stupid that he has to deal with the marks on his skin. He’s read tons of shitty fanfictions (not something he’s proud of, but who cares?) with all kinds of different versions of soulmate marks, so why does real life have these ones?
Why do your soulmate’s most insecure, dark thoughts have to be tattooed on your skin?
