Cal stares at Jacob for a second to much before his face morphs into confusion. “what do you mean a man?”

TL;DR
At the bar Cal is trying his hardest to get a woman's attention after Jacobs mentoring but it doesn't work. After complaining about how it is so easy for Jacob to pick up people, Jacob proposes the idea of him trying to talk to man, which he hasn't done i a while to show that it is not as easy as Cal thinks.
He spots a blonde man at the back of the bar just his type. -
