Tim doesn't sleep much, and as a result he hallucinates sometimes. He keeps hallucinating a pair of green eyes in the dark.
At the same time he struggles with his place in the fractured batfamily, and tries chasing the Red Hood, who surely is completely unrelated to these green eyes he keeps seeing... right?cue kidnappings, bad decisions, and a whole lot of food!
a bit angsty, but with a happy ending because i REFUSE to write sad ones. title is from "people got a lotta nerve" by neko case :)

‘Jason freezes. The arm not still slung over Tim’s shoulders comes up automatically to cup the alpha’s head, cradling him against his chest. Tim makes another soft noise at that, relaxing further into Jason’s grip.
“Tim?” Jason questions, softly. “Is this what you need?”’
Jason is in heat, unfortunately that means he can’t ignore a packmate in distress.
