Summary
Scott is an ancient vampire, he has been around for a millennia, and he's got a few secrets from his past that he may or may not share to those around him, purposefully or not.
When he finds himself awake after being asleep for 600 years, he only plans on rebuilding his life, and castle, and perhaps even finding new friends and such. But when he finds another vampire, who has plans that include shedding the blood of those who reside in town, his plans change. Now he has to do his best to protect the town of Oakhurst while readjusting to society and his own powers. Though protecting Oakhurst will be difficult if nobody believes his intentions.
And, not to mention the resident vampire hunter, Avid, who has something strange about him . . . Something eerily familiar . . . But it couldn't be that . . . Right? -

He needed a vampire. Preferably an ancient vampire who considered humans below him, and would be old enough to cause the majority of the coven to cower. One that was not mentioned anywhere in that file, and would not be assumed to have anything to do with the organisation. One who has just passed his final review, with admittedly flying colours.
He needed Goldsmith.
Abolish Veylocke is having a bad day. Surely adding in an ancient snarky vampire couldn't make it any worse?
