In an unfortunate series of events, Percy will once again disappear. But his parting won’t be as inconspicuous as last time. And as he fights helplessly and painfully alone for his survival, feeling a slow and torturous descent into madness, his friends will try anything they can to save him. Even with Camp Half-Blood falling apart.
Blocked in a situation where no one, not even the gods, can help him. And trapped on a land where morals are non-existent, and each step can mean his end, only one rule stands…
The higher they are, the harder they fall.
A long, long downfall.
Everyone knows the son of Poseidon has already endured far too much, but hey, since when does he have the choice to gently step aside ?
Evenements take place after BoO, its ending slightly modified. 1st and 3rd pov. Percy-centered story. Swearing, blood, death and suffering ahead. And obviously, it doesn't end well.

Nesta, Gwyn, and Emerie haven’t been the same since the Rite. They all deal with traumas in their own self-destructive ways, and they’re okay with that. After all, healing isn’t linear. As long as they take it day by day and remember to breathe once in a while, life will be fine. Not good, not great, but fine.
The problem is, Cassian, Azriel, and Rhys have noticed. They’re painfully aware that the Valkyrie’s recovery after the Rite echoes their own, almost to a fault. And they've never been good at keeping to themselves - even if the Valkyries insist they don't need help.
But what if they do?
