As they drove back to Mike's place, Mike continued to lean heavily against Will, his speech still affected by the anesthesia. "Will," Mike slurred, "you know, you're really hot."
Will shifted uncomfortably in his seat, unsure of how to respond. "Thanks, Mike.” he replied awkwardly, hoping to steer the conversation away from Mike's unusual compliments.
"Yeah, but seriously, I wish I was dating you instead of Jane," Mike persisted, his words becoming increasingly muddled.He attempted to caress Will's arm, mumbling, "You're so strong, Will."
"Mike, you're just feeling a bit out of it right now. Let's focus on getting you home," Will said gently, trying to distract Mike by pointing out familiar landmarks as they drove.
