Summary
Xie Lian had never been stupid. He knew what it meant when heaven officials stopped talking when he walked by and laughed when he left. He knew what it meant when chatter halted in the communication array when he tried to start conversations and no one spoke to him directly. The days were long, and he had mostly himself for company, but that was fine. Anything was fine as long as he didn’t die.
And then a silver butterfly appears in the Heavenly Court, and he rediscovers someone he thought he lost a long time ago. Xie Lian is immortal, and he has outlived many things, but it's hard to outlive devotion.

Summary
Xie Lian accidentally accrues a debt to Ghost City. He must work to pay off this debt as the masked worker 'Sunshine'. Events take place that lead him to meeting and working with the mysterious Lord of the city and it just may bring them closer in the end.
