Summary
Tim and Damian have hated one another since the day that the youngest Wayne arrived in Gotham City. A few years later, that hatred has cooled into a mutual disdain and somewhat-wary tolerance. If necessary, they can even work together— though neither likes to. Then Tim discovers that Damian enjoys bird-watching too. Or: sometimes the difficult things are the most rewarding.

Summary
By age thirteen, Tim’s List’s notebook had grown from the first few pages to nearly the whole one-hundred-page notebook of things he can do to improve and stay ahead of his parent’s wishes. The lists now included things like:
- Smile more. Mother and Father don’t like it when I frown.
- Don’t smile too wide, it shows off my imperfect teeth.
- Eat, but don’t eat too much.
- Be prepared to discuss their last dig with them.
- Never ask for anything.
- Never raise your voice.
- Always look them in the eyes
- Get the highest possible grades, failure is not an option.
- Expect anything.
- Never mention spending time with the Waynes.Series

Summary
"At least, back then, Tim had barely been a teenager. He could almost forgive his own volatility. And he’d been smart enough (scared enough?) not to tell Jack that he didn’t need him.
What was his excuse now? Bruce was his dad (at least, in the legal sense), but (surprise, surprise) it turned out that Tim wasn’t any better at being a son."
Or Tim and Bruce still have some things to sort through after the adoption.
