Summary
“Jack paused to look at Gabin curiously.
‘You know, you aren’t like they described you.’
The dancer titled his head, brows furrowed with confusion.
‘What did they say? If it’s that I am amazing at what I do, they are correct of course. I have no faults.’”

Summary
Tobias looks at Gabin. Usually Gabin is able to help Tobias out in times like this. He’s often able to put his thoughts into actual words, or even has a suggestion that either works or sparks an idea. Sometimes Gabin doesn’t even need to speak, Tobias just finds the answer in his eyes.
(When Tobias mentioned this Gabin said it was very romantic. Tobias wasn’t trying to be romantic, it’s just a fact.)

Summary
“Hello,” he said. “Why is no one dancing?” He asked it pleasantly, because Genevieve said it was good to ask things pleasantly.
The girl whose name might have been Mimi furrowed her eyebrows at him. “What?” she asked.
Tobias felt a flare of irritation in his chest, and reluctantly removed his headphones because her voice was much too quiet to hear over the muffle in his ears— in a studio, no less.

Or: Five times Gabin understood what Tobias was thinking without him having to say anything, and one time he needed it spelled out
***
Something was wrong. Gabin was pretty sure of it, mainly because it was 6:02 on a Sunday morning and he was no longer peacefully sleeping, as people should be doing at 6:02 on a Sunday morning. Instead, he was staring at the screen of his phone, Tobias’ name flashing impossibly bright.
***
As the title say! Gabin can read Tobias' mind and that's canon. But maybe there's a little something he still needs to hear out loud?
