Summary
Kate used to have no clue to where she was going. Now she is running towards the storms that took everything from her and gave her life a purpose.
Tyler has made it his life’s work to chase thrills, running towards anything just to feel everything, except now his heart is outside his chest and it runs into danger without a second thought. He doesn’t think the answer is in rodeo dates and tornados this time, at least not entirely.
It’s been over a year since El Reno, and Kate has secured a transfer to Norman, OK, and back to storm chasing. After finally reeling herself from a diabolical lease, and getting her credits transferred. Tyler is happy to help Kate change the world as long as he stands beside her. All while trying to keep his head above after the horrors of the outbreak, and keep him and his team alive.
This is a story of healing and love told in roughly chronological order, through interconnected vignettes and stories.

Kate and Tyler escape traffic and wait for the team in a local bar. Alternating POVs
Its much too soon to be so in love, but Tyler is. He quickly realizes that maybe a dive bar wasn't such a good idea when other men also start to realize how lucky he is.
Meanwhile, still adjusting to the fact she has moved home officially and is on the road with the Wranglers, Kate is afraid that Tyler misses the high life opportunities that his channel brings him and is struggling with feelings of this strange new life she's just about started over.
