The day was full of surprises, and wedges in his plans to completely wreck his shit.
Because he was so close, his fingers were grazing the soft, tanned flesh above the boy’s heart. And the prophesized words. The boy’s own hand was pressed to his soul mark.
While the other survives.
It was warm and soothing, but cool and taking like he was slowly pulling Voldemort through a cold shaded area. It hadn’t been at all what the Dark Lord expected.“Come, Harry, don’t-”
“Shut up!” His voice struck the air with a burst of magic. His feet left the ground, soon he was standing on top of the dining table and every window shattered. Shards of glass rained down on him from a domed skylight that provided the dining hall with natural light. The jagged shards cut his skin as they fell. Chairs, side tables, decorative vases, and paintings littered the air; breaking up the crowd of Death Eaters, barricading everyone out of the room. But nothing touched his soulmate. A fault of the bond between them.“I’ll help fix you, you’ll be okay.” He couldn’t really tell if he was reassuring the man before him, or himself.
In which our favorite boys are soulmates and have to navigate around insanity and death.

Summary
After Harry is outed as a Parselmouth to the school in his second year, Draco approaches him with the intent of discovering whether he truly is the heir of Slytherin. After forming a somewhat unsteady and fragile truce, the pair end up learning much more about Harry’s past and magic than they had originally intended. The discovery leads to not only Harry’s access to his full magical potential but an escape from the Dursleys in the form of Severus Snape.
I.e., The fic where Harry's life at Hogwarts goes a lot better. He gets the love and family he deserves following his second year and becomes a much smarter and more powerful wizard.
Dumbledore kinda sucks in this fic so get ready for bashing. Snape and Draco also end up being actually nice people.

Summary
Harry dies and ends up meeting Death, who is not happy at what has been happening to the wizarding world and his little master. So Death sends Harry to Tom Riddle's third year in hopes of preventing that future from happening, as well as giving his master a chance at a better and happier life.

Summary
The entire Fifth Year students need to get resorted due to an article from the Daily Prophet. Already hated by a smear campaign, Harry finds himself vulnerable in the den of snakes because of course he's the only one of two who gets resorted. Alone in Slytherin, Harry will need to learn how to navigate his new House and along the way discover true friends, a forgotten family, and a truth that will change the world as he knows it. That is if he and Draco Malfoy can spend ten minutes together without arguing.

Summary
Children’s hair sometimes changes color as you grow. When he’s young enough for it not to be unusual, but old enough to know he’ll get in trouble for doing something ‘freakish’ again, Harry's hair goes from his father's dark locks to his mother's bright, most-likely-magical red hair.
It changes everything about who he identifies with, who he wants to grow up to be, and who he thinks he is. Instead of having James Potter as his idol, Lily turns out to be a much better influence.
So instead of seeing a scruffy, most-likely-muggleborn boy standing beside him in Madam Malkin's before their first year, Draco only has eyes for the scarlet-haired, green-eyed creature who just walked into his life.
