Summary
Enid’s voice was distant. Wednesday’s vision was dark.
Her lungs inflated with a sharp gasp. And then she was falling, plummeting, trying to hold on to herself, to not lose control, but everything was crashing down on her at once, and she couldn’t help it, she couldn’t—
“Wens,” Enid barely murmured into her ear, and Wednesday burst, splintering into a thousand tiny shards.
OR
Wednesday is bad at feelings (bless her soul). Enid teaches her that it’s okay to fall apart sometimes.

Summary
When Enid finds Wednesday, it's too late to save her. She burns with rage and guilt. She wishes it were her in that grave.
What a shame that Time is faster than her.
What a shame that Enid is desperate.
What a shame that she's heard.
What a shame.
What a shame.
Maybe not, though.
Who knows?

Summary
Wednesday suffers from chronic nightmares after Crackstone, which leave her extremely sleep-deprived and perpetually irritable (more so than usual). She isn’t interested in seeking help, and she certainly isn’t about to discuss with anyone the things that haunt her in her sleep. Everyone learns quickly to stay out of her way… all except one.
OR
Enid sees straight through Wednesday’s callous exterior and is determined to be there for her—both as a friend, and maybe as something more.
