DC Comics & Bat fics I enjoy a lot :D
Will probably include lots of AU's, crossovers, and fics with no loyalty to canon whatsoever.
(Excludes DC Comics x Danny Phantom crossovers because those're going in the Shelf Collected DPxDC collection instead.)

Summary
The League’s base is not built to welcome strangers.
Bruce is not a stranger.
He whips around another hidden corner, not bothering to try and silence the snap of his cape. There are no assassins waiting for him.
On the far side of the compound, another explosion echoes dully, Jason fulfilling his role with enthusiasm.
There will be bodies left behind when they leave this place. There is no time to dwell on it - Bruce compartmentalizes. It is easier than it might have been, some other time, some other mission.
He already found the room where Tim was being kept.

Summary
“The Red Hood has been good for Gotham,” Robin continued. “Crime in Park Row decreased by sixty one percent almost as soon as you showed up, and that’s even taking into account all the crime you commit. Drug overdoses have decreased by twenty two percent in adults and seventy nine percent in minors. Homeless minors are ninety two percent less likely to—”
“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”
Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.
(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)

Summary
The third time Jason wakes up in his own coffin, he thinks the universe is probably trying to tell him something. He thinks maybe the universe should be clearer, though, maybe enunciate some more, because obviously there's been some miscommunication. He keeps dying. And then he keeps waking up.
Or
Jason Todd is immortal. He's not the only one.

Tim bent over as his stomach cramped. His eyes watered and he couldn’t breathe as Jason loomed over him.
God, he hadn’t laughed this hard in years.

Summary
The journey back to consciousness is painful, every moment worse than the last as Tim’s aching, damaged body reports in. His head is pounding and everything hurts.
He shouldn’t be alive right now.
Memories crash through his mind, fear and agony blooming in their wake. The desert. Bleeding out after the Widower’s ambush. Z and Owens, oh god. They’re dead. And Pru—
Disjointed recollections of dragging himself and her into the vehicle and somehow making it back to the hotel are followed by a huge blank. There’s no way he should be alive—he lost too much blood. There’s no way the Widower’s sword missed an organ as it passed through his back. And his wings—the beautiful black and crisp white feathers he has always secretly taken pride in, iridescent blue in the right light, just like a magpie—
His wings—

He also can’t exactly go licking himself, either— not because he isn’t able to, but because when one is under the mentorship of Batman, one of the aforementioned greatest detectives on Earth, one is likely to be questioned if an injury just vanishes. The first time one of Tim’s battle wounds seems to heal all too quickly, Bruce startles him by asking about it.
“Uh,” Tim says eloquently, “Er. I suppose it just wasn’t that bad."
Bruce looks past him at the exact point on the floor of the Batcave where Tim had lost like a pint of blood the day before.
“Wasn’t that bad,” he echoes dryly.
[Tim just happens to be a very large, fire-breathing lizard. He manages, until he doesn't.]
