Summary
Grace doesn't have a very good estimation of himself. He has no idea how much people genuinely like him, especially (most) of the people involved in this project. Ikukhina meets him, finds him adorable, and immediately decides to adopt him. Yáo is the only one who can even somewhat contain her but finds himself also somehow adopting Grace in the process.
Then Grace wakes up with amnesia.
What happens when Grace remembers he was sent against his will? What happens when he still meets Rocky first, they still have to go to Erid, and now the three of them have to duke it out for custody/best friend rights of Grace?
Updates every other day and has a heavy focus on the initial trio friendship before Rocky shows up, so it'll be a while before we meet our favorite alien spider rock

Because the man he nearly hit looks exactly like him. A carbon copy, if you will.
And what does this carbon copy of Colt Seavers do when he sees him? He runs.
And maybe Colt Seavers will regret chasing his doppelganger down when a 400-pound rock spider comes to his doppelganger's rescue.
(A story where Grace and Rocky have accidentally shucked themselves into Colt Seaver's world during the movie and get unwillingly tangled within its plot.) (Alternating POVs between Colt and Grace)

The dynamic between the goslings and rocky are fantastic and only made better by Dan and Jody being along for the ride. Jody getting a bigger part is also amazing 🙏

“Nope–no you have to keep the pressure on that, Colt–” Jody grabbed his hand, guided it back upward, glancing over his shoulder to see what he was looking at.
There wasn’t anything of note behind him, just the pavement and a laughing couple stumbling their way around the corner.
Was he concussed?
“I’m not Colt,” Colt said, interrupting Jody’s thoughts. He cocked his head to the side, frowned, tried to lower his hand for the third time like he’d already forgotten what he was supposed to be doing. “I’m trying–I need to find Colt. M’not him.”
Oh, yeah, he was definitely fucking concussed.
(Ryland is concussed, Colt is framed for murder and concussed, and Jody is definitively lost in all the sauce because someone forgot to tell her that Colt has a twin brother.)

Despite all those learned skills, the glass cup hurled at her head when she stuck her head through the door to Dr. Ryland Grace's room blindsided her like nothing else in her life had.
