Summary
By March or so, the patrols were getting pretty well organized. There was an actual, honest-to-God signup sheet, stuck to Mrs. Byers' fridge with a smiley rainbow magnet and decorated with stickers by the kids.

Summary
In his defense, Steve does immediately realise that something’s wrong when he wakes up in Nancy’s pastel-purple bedroom.
He’s just a little foggy on the what.

or, the one where Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan all swap bodies not long after the Battle of Starcourt, and somehow have to all get along for long enough to figure out how to fix it.Bookmarked by chitanda_82

BODYSWAP
It read more as a character introspection than building feelings betweeen them. But still good. I would have liked a whole chapter of the aftermath dedicated to sorting out their feelings so it’s more outright and explicit. But whatever.
I also liked the steve/Jonathan bit where their cuddling but it’s technically Nancy and Jonathan.
The getting together is kinda mid, but I do love it when byler (older) comes to Steve like so hey we’ve been talking and ….

Summary
“Oh my God,” Nancy exclaims, softly enough so they won’t attract any nosy people. “You like Jonathan.”
She knows Steve understands her implications, watches as he squirms across from her in his seat. “So? You like him, too,” he shoots back, and it’s less of an accusation than a statement.
“It’s not like that,” she denies instantly, her default response that Steve waves off just as quickly.
“No, it’s totally ‘like that,’” he says, pointing his spoon at her and smirking now.

Summary
"I overheard you. You were talking in your sleep.”
Steve's heart fluttered nervously.
“It was a little funny at first,” Nancy admitted, her tone a mix of teasing and apologetic, “you were moaning my name and I thought it’d be kinda funny if Mike accidentally overheard you having a sex dream about his sister—”
Steve couldn’t control the guffaw that escaped him.
“But then you said Jonathan’s name. Right after mine. All in the same breath.”

Sounds perfect
And it was, maybe unnecessarily long, but that’s still debatable.
I love how they went into Steve’s fears about being queer. They could have delved into Jonathan’s a bit better but hey it’s Steve POV that’s what you get. Nancy was surprisingly well written as was the rest of the cast. I do with there was more of an emotional confession from all of them, just to have a greater mutual understanding. But for 40k words this was really good. No where near a waste of time (not sarcasm)

So little tags for so many words
Ignoring the climax of the story (I wish it was pun intended) it should be entertaining.Ohhh my heart, like it’s long but it’s really well written. Yk when I tell a story with unnecessary details this is that. Like there are unnecessary details but it’s sort of endearing, and there’s so much heart and dedication radiating off this fic.
AND DEAR GOD did Steve and Robin’s friendship fuck me up.
Also poly ships like this do something to me as a bisexual.
